Urban's Fury: The War Dragon God

Chapter 1107: Tang Sect

The convoy left the airport heading straight for Chang Kong.

Chang Kong City has a very famous street called Shengshi Street, a street built entirely in an ancient style, with most of the buildings on both sides featuring exquisite carvings and flying eaves, brilliantly crafted.

"Young Master Feng, we have arrived."

The driver stopped the car, opened the door, then went to the rear door and opened it. Li Feng stepped out of the car and looked up at the venue for this Martial Arts Tournament, the Sheng Tang Hotel.

Hua Jiufeng, Huang Jiuling, and others also got out of the car one after another. They walked into the hotel lobby, and a wave of Yan Country's ancient style hit them.

The lobby manager approached.

"Are you Grandmaster Hua of the Xingyi Sect?"

"Yes."

Hua Jiufeng nodded.

The lobby manager smiled, glanced at Li Feng and the others, then turned aside: "Grandmaster Hua, our Shengshi Hotel is the sponsor of this National Martial Arts Tournament, so if you and your party could follow me to the front desk for some simple registration procedures, you can stay at our hotel."

"Everyone, please follow me."

The group followed the lobby manager to the front desk to register.

"Xiaomei, these people are participants from the Southeast division. Register them and assign rooms."

"Okay, manager."

"Could everyone please prepare your ID cards? I'll register you."

"Mm, what are you doing?"

At the front desk, there were five or six receptionists. One nudged another with her elbow.

"Look over there."

"Oh!"

The receptionist turned her head and looked to the side.

"Hey, don't you think he's really handsome? He looks just like a Sword Immortal from a costume fantasy, totally amazing."

The short-haired receptionist's eyes lit up, looking somewhat lovesick.

"Yeah, he really does, like that celebrity Zhao Youting. But his ethereal temperament is like it came straight out of a TV drama. If he wore an ancient costume...!"

The receptionist swallowed hard.

These two receptionists, lost in admiration, made the man at the front desk somewhat displeased. He turned his head to glance at the side, looked up and down, and sneered.

"Hey, are you from the Southeast division?"

Li Feng turned his head to glance at the man speaking to them, not far away, who had a star-like face, hawk-like eyes, and a slightly feminine appearance, his gaze gave the feeling of being stared at by a snake.

"As expected of the weakest division, they even have women advancing, tsk tsk."

The hawk-eyed man said contemptuously.

"Didn't you see they're led by elders? Maybe they haven't even weaned yet, and need their elders to accompany them when they go out."

"Haha."

The two mocked recklessly.

The two didn't speak quietly, so their words naturally fell into the ears of Li Feng and the others, particularly the fiery-tempered Tie Xuan who immediately turned around.

"Do you need a beating? Try saying that again if you have the guts."

Tie Xuan cracked his knuckles audibly.

"Tie Xuan."

Hua Jiufeng turned his head and called Tie Xuan: "Before the official competition, fighting is prohibited, otherwise you will be disqualified from participating."

"Ignore them. If you're really angry, prove it in the ring."

"But?"

Tie Xuan felt a bit aggrieved and unwilling, clearly upset about being mocked yet having to endure it.

"If a dog bites you, will you bite back? Let them keep barking."

Li Feng patted Tie Xuan's shoulder, gave a provocative glance across.

Li Feng's words also directly reached the ears of the others opposite.

"Kid, you dare insult me."

The hawk-eyed man stepped forward, a sneer at the corner of his mouth, speaking disdainfully.

"I wasn't insulting you, I was just talking about a dog."

Li Feng replied calmly.

"What, did my words hit you?"

"You!"

The hawk-eyed man glared at Li Feng, sizing him up from head to toe: "In the Southeast division, it seems only Hua Wushuang, who is half a step into the Grandmaster Realm, is worth noticing, while the others are just trash."

"Are you Hua Wushuang?"

The hawk-eyed man's words were like a blanket insult, targeting Li Feng and his companions indiscriminately.

"No wonder there's a saying about 'seeing with dog's eyes', it's so true."

The hawk-eyed man's eyelids twitched, the other party just shy of actually pointing a finger and calling him a dog: "Ha, sharp-tongued as you are, is that how you advanced?"

Li Feng dug at his ear, flicked away earwax, then turned away: "Is the registration not done yet?"

Li Feng's turning away, treating them as if they were nothing, not retaliating but the insult was strong.

I disdain talking to dogs.

The hawk-eyed man was infuriated by Li Feng's unconventional behavior: "Hey, what's your name, do you dare to give it?"

"If we meet in the ring, I'll definitely smash your mouth and break your teeth, forcing you to swallow them."

Li Feng turned back, smirking: "Isn't it customary to give your name first when asking someone else's? Otherwise, who are you to ask for my name?"

The hawk-eyed man glared coldly at Li Feng, the tension between them palpable.

Huang Shuyao glanced over, realizing why the other side dared to be so arrogant - the Tang Sect is a renowned and noble family in the Southwest, known for their mastery of hidden weapons, movement techniques, and use of poison and craftsmanship, with a heritage spanning a thousand years.

The Xingyi Sect may now be one of the Top Three Sects in the martial arts world, but compared to the Tang Sect, they lack some depth and foundation.

The other side is truly a hidden noble sect.

"What's wrong, scared now, not even daring to give your name? It's not too late if you bow your head now."

Tang Chuan arrogantly looked at Li Feng.

In the team, Hua Jiufeng furrowed his brow but didn't speak, as it truly would validate the other's words if he, as a senior, got involved, that the Southeast division participants were indeed too immature.

Li Feng curled his lips: "Tang Sect's Tang Chuan, is it? I'll remember you."

"And you better remember this."

"My name is Li Feng."

"Li Feng?"

Tang Chuan's eyes rolled, suddenly revealing a mocking look: "Heh, I was wondering who you were, turns out you're that notorious Li Feng who became famous by leeching off women."

"My goodness, you actually have the nerve to show up, is there really no one left in the Southeast division? All sorts of trash can advance, truly an eye-opener for me."

"Heh, I didn't remember anyone else, but in the Southeast division, I only remembered two people - one is Hua Wushuang, said to be the one in our generation closest to becoming a grandmaster, and the other is Li Feng."

At this moment, someone beside Tang Chuan also stepped forward in support: "Seeing you today, it's evident that your reputation is well-deserved, sharp-tongued indeed, no wonder you can leech off women."
