"What a useless piece of trash."
On the top floor of the New Century, inside the chairman's office, Li Feng had brought Xu Youwen back. Before Li Feng and An Xi could do anything to Xu Youwen, Lin Wan'er darted forward and slapped him.
Xu Youwen was stunned by the slap.
"Who are you to dare hit me?"
Xu Youwen was furious, forced to kneel by Li Feng in front of everyone, and then he was taken away as if it was no big deal. His face was practically being scraped against the floor.
Lin Wan'er gave a cold laugh, turned back, and slapped again.
"Who am I? I'm your aunt."
Lin Wan'er vented her anger by beating Xu Youwen relentlessly.
"What are you looking at? Just defeated a group of trash, hardly something to brag about."
Lin Wan'er turned to glance at Li Feng.
"Li, you're about to be in trouble, I assure you."
"Hah."
An Xi looked at Lin Wan'er, who was still being so arrogant despite being captured: "Still daring to be so bold here, do you even know your place?"
"You cheap woman, dare touch me and see what happens."
An Xi wasn't lenient either and slapped her. Lin Wan'er looked incredibly shocked, turned her head back to glare venomously at An Xi.
"Fine, very fine, I'll remember this slap."
Though Lin Wan'er was arrogant, she knew her current situation and didn't start a scene with An Xi, instead turned coldly and nestled into the sofa.
On the first floor of the building, the leaderless three-family force exited but did not leave, instead lingering outside.
"That fight was really pathetic."
"Oh well, the opponent has some eerie tricks up their sleeve. Didn't you see them command with a word, causing anyone targeted to kneel? Even the private guards were subdued, so what chance did we, mere workers, have? Even if the higher-ups pursue this, it won't be us on the receiving end."
"That's all well and good to say, but it's still pathetic. So many of us cowered before seven or eight people."
The group, though not mixed in the martial world, were all men in their twenties and thirties and worked in security, a job that required fighting skills.
Yet, they were crushed at first sight, and their pride was broken.
"Out of the way."
While they were talking, a cool voice suddenly sounded behind them.
One person turned to look: "Buddy, who are you?"
"Out of the way."
The security employees turned to look behind them at the unexpected person asking them to step aside.
He looked young, in his twenties, with a sharp, fierce face, sword-like eyebrows, and big eyes, dressed in tight nightwear, with a sword on his back.
His attire seemed out of place.
"Buddy, where are you from? You're talking a bit aggressive."
The sword-browed youth was obviously impatient and did not plan to repeat his words a third time; his gaze scanned the few people in front of him, and a formless wind surged forth, sweeping over those blocking his way in an instant.
These guards were directly nudged into a stagger by this gust of wind, and two couldn't keep steady and landed on their behinds.
Just when one guard was about to get up and reason with him, the sword-browed youth had already stepped several meters away.
"Am I blind? How did that guy get past?"
The guards stared at each other, they had seen him pass, but it gave an illusion, like shortening space, where each stride took him several meters away.
This world, what happened to it.
They had an incomprehensible feeling.
"He's gone into the building."
Watching him step into New Century, they exchanged glances.
"Better report to the higher-ups."
Meanwhile.
An Xi also received a message from the control center, frowned, and whispered to Li Feng by his side: "Young Master, surveillance reports someone else has entered the building, coming up via the emergency stairs."
"Oh, how many this time?"
Li Feng's face showed nonchalance, clearly not considering the three-family force a threat.
"Just one."
An Xi replied.
"One."
Li Feng was slightly surprised, An Xi nodded: "Yes, I just confirmed it. Want to switch the screen over?"
Li Feng nodded, and An Xi issued the command via a Bluetooth communication device. Li Feng turned to look at the projection on the wall.
Lin Wan'er sat on the sofa gnashing her teeth as she ate her fruit salad. Though a captive, her movements weren't restricted, since with her divine acupoint sealed, she was like any ordinary girl.
Lin Wan'er naturally noticed Li Feng and An Xi's actions, looking at the projection on the opposite wall.
"Ha, Li Feng, you're done for."
Lin Wan'er shouted, suddenly feeling gleeful upon seeing the image.
Li Feng turned to Lin Wan'er: "You know this person coming?"
Lin Wan'er snorted: "Trying to get intel from me?"
An Xi looked at Lin Wan'er, gave a cold chuckle, and said: "Doesn't matter if you don't spill, I'll make you talk."
Lin Wan'er looked at An Xi, this vile woman, deciding it wasn't worth enduring losses now, and even if she told them, so what.
"Ha, I'll tell you, why not. He's my Lin Family's Sword Servant."
"So, he's an expert from the Ancient Martial World?"
Li Feng looked at Lin Wan'er.
"Heh, that's right."
Lin Wan'er nodded, An Xi looked at Li Feng: "Young Master, should I send someone to test this person's strength?"
Li Feng nodded.
An Xi immediately gave the order.
Lin Wan'er, holding her fruit salad, touched her still stinging cheek that the vile woman had slapped earlier.
But soon, she would get her revenge.
She hadn't concealed this person's identity, but Li Feng didn't understand the status of the Sword Servant within the Lin Family.
The Sword Servant was her father's, the Lin Family Head's, subordinate, equivalent to a personal bodyguard in mundane society.
With the Lin Family's status in the Ancient Martial World, any guards beside the Family Head were naturally the most skilled.
The Sword Servant, her useless brother Lin Changge also had one, named Xing Yun. Xing Yun's skill wasn't poor, but compared to the four Sword Servants by her father's side, the gap was like heaven and earth.
To put it simply, Xing Yun was just one of the apprentices of the four Sword Servants beside her father.
If comparing strength.
The four Sword Servants, each had the might of a Sword Sect master.
It seemed her father already knew about the situation in the Grand Martial Arts Arena and her brother's exposure, thus sending a Sword Servant to handle the matter.
Lin Wan'er thought, her eyes shooting a glance at Li Feng.
This big fool was still unaware of the looming catastrophe.
But Lin Wan'er wouldn't warn him, daring to kidnap her and shame her, she wished she could trample Li Feng vigorously to vent her anger.
On the eighteenth floor.
An Xi's arranged people blocked the sword-browed youth coming up the stairs.
"Get lost."
The sword-browed youth raised his eyes to the people blocking him, furrowed his sword-like brows.
"Kid, you're quite wild. Want us to loosen your bones?"
