Don't Mess with That Dragon

Chapter 203: Development (2nd Update)

Even though the two systems' powers are different, and although Naruto is just a fictional anime within Austin, since the Navy Six Techniques can be magically modified into this world, there's no reason the Chakra system with similar power characteristics can't do the same.

The logic is understandable, and there's a great possibility of realizing this idea!

Although the resulting Lightning Ball and Spherical Lightning are likely not the same, simply condensing Thunder Attribute Elements into a sphere is almost similar to the way Austin forcibly condenses lightning into a Lightning Ball through using Talent Magic.

This kind of Lightning Ball is far from the power described in previous science fiction novels where molecules are disassembled and reconstructed, and even matter is turned into a quantum superposition state, "erasing" from the material interface.

But if it can truly succeed, sustaining a stable Spherical Lightning and using it for attack, its power would not be inferior, at least much stronger than an Electromagnetic Cannon or the simple Thunder Strike Technique.

"The temperature of lightning is several times higher than the surface temperature of the sun. If the lightning can be compressed and condensed through the Rasengan method, its internal voltage and temperature would surely surpass ordinary lightning!"

If the imagined Thunder Rasengan can truly be developed successfully, then the temperature generated by lightning alone would be enough to instantly crystallize sand and stone.

Additionally, the explosive power formed by forcibly compressing and condensing through the Rasengan, the impact formed by the extremely oppressed explosive thunder, the power unleashed is simply unimaginable.

At least those zombie creatures and flesh creatures would have no chance of resistance in the face of such power, whether it's the massive zombie tumor flesh or the pyramid base beneath.

Initially thought the development had failed, but unexpectedly found a glimmer of hope.

Many ideas flashed through the mind, and then Austin began to engage in intense development.

The imagined Lightning Ball needs to go through two stages of development.

The first stage is to control Magic Power, drawing on the Rasengan's cultivation method to construct the world's unique Magic Rasengan.

The second stage, on the basis of the Magic Rasengan, involves transforming a large part of the magic within the Magic Ball into lightning through the nature change of Thunder Attribute Elements to maintain the shape of the Lightning Ball.

After developing the Lightning Ball, Austin might develop a Lightning Ball similar to the Choodama Rasengan Ninjutsu to better suit the current situation.

Imagine, a Lightning Ball akin to the Choodama Rasengan falling from the sky, the massive tumor creature formed by zombie creatures would instantly turn to ashes under the extreme temperature and terrifying impact of the Lightning Ball, with the surrounding soil evaporating and melting in an instant, turning into pools of glass.

That would be the time when Austin's technique is truly completed.

Of course, that's just one possible future outcome; perhaps the Lightning Ball can only be developed to the size of a fist and cannot be expanded further. Anything is possible, and no one knows the outcome until the very end.

With the development plan confirmed, Austin began to engage in tense attempts.

Due to enhanced memory, Austin clearly remembers the three development stages of the Rasengan from the previous life.

The first step is to gather Chakra in the palm.

Austin is a dragon, but fortunately, he has front claws.

Both front claws spread open, as if holding an imaginary basketball, streams of magic surged out, condensing into a sphere between the claws.

The first step posed no difficulty; due to the Giant Dragon's talent, after trying about ten times, Austin found the feeling, forming a fist-sized Magic Corps between the claws, which quickly dissipated.

The second step is the further practice of the first stage, steadily and continuously releasing Chakra.

To achieve this step, the training method in the original work is to place a water balloon in hand, then release Chakra until the water inside the balloon moves randomly and bursts.

The world Austin is in is naturally not the modern science and extraordinary ninjutsu parallel world of Naruto. The Kawa Great Forest and the entire Seta Continent are truly in the Middle World Extraordinary World, where no balloons are available for practice.

Despite this, the impact is not significant. The use of water-filled balloons in practice is merely to achieve the purpose of stably and continuously releasing Chakra. The water ball effect is just for observation convenience, not essential.

In the world of Magic, the release of magic depends largely on Spiritual Power, and as such, a mage's fine control of magic greatly surpasses that of ninjutsu.

Although Austin is not a mage, his Giant Dragon Bloodline is much stronger than a mage's, born with the ability to awaken and control Talent Magic, so there's no problem in this aspect.

Thus, after attempting twenty to thirty times, Austin found the method to continuously and stably release magic and form a Magic Corps between the claws, requiring slight rotational output of magic to maintain the Magic Corps' form.

The second step posed no difficulties for Austin at all.

Next is the third step,

Prepare a rubber ball, maintain the released Chakra, and materialize it until internally and externally, it can directly destroy the rubber ball. According to Jiraiya, the toughness of the rubber ball is a hundred times that of a balloon.

After completing this stage, the Rasengan can already cause damage, though it can only inflict relatively light surface harm and cannot penetrate trees.

The third step proved somewhat challenging for Austin, given the absence of a rubber ball.

However, though there is some difficulty, it's not insurmountable.

The rubber ball is merely a tool for testing results in the third step of training; the main practice remains maintaining stable magic release, condensing it into a sphere, and materializing it. Also, to sustain the Magic Corps' form, the dual magic release must also maintain slight rotation.

The most crucial part here is materializing the magic and making it achieve some offensive power.

Despite the advantage of Spiritual Power, Austin spent over an hour to truly materialize the Magic Ball and grant it some destructive capability, at least stripping a large piece of bark when blasted against a tree.

Having completed the third step, the final step is:

Concentrating and releasing Chakra.

This final step is also the most challenging step in the entire Rasengan practice.

Combining all previous attempts, converge high-density Chakra in hand, continuously releasing it, rotating compressing into a mass, condensing into essence.

Massive Chakra compresses and rotates within a small sphere, akin to a miniature typhoon ball, generating power strong enough to penetrate trees and shatter rocks!
