"Of course you can't feel it, and they don't want us to feel it," the veteran's voice trembled.
In that small corner at the stern, Ron and Reynolds stood side by side, their expressions calm.
Reynolds, eyes full of astonishment, looked at the young Wizard beside him: "Wizard Ralph, your 'Sound Wave Vibration'... it's truly breathtaking."
Ron had a faint smile at the corner of his mouth:
"Wizard Reynolds, you're too kind. It's your Binding Magic that's just right. It's precisely because of your precise control that I could so accurately apply the Sound Wave Shock."
The modest words on the surface couldn't hide Reynolds' inner shock.
As a Morning Star Level Wizard for many years, he was well-versed in the various applications of magic.
But the 'Sound Wave Vibration' Ron just demonstrated was beyond his understanding.
It was not just an ordinary Sound Wave Shock, but a delicate application of the 'Echo Effect'.
By creating a specific frequency resonance within the target, it achieved geometric power enhancement with minimal magic power input.
This fine-tuned energy conversion efficiency is rare even among seasoned Morning Star Level Wizards.
He adjusted his perspective and attitude slightly.
Originally, in his subconscious, he still viewed Ron as a "junior" needing guidance.
But now, it seemed that the young Wizard's accomplishments in certain fields might already rival his own.
While Reynolds pondered, Ron had already taken out a small Crystal Bottle from his Spatial Bag.
This bottle was octagonal, entirely crystal clear, with complex rune networks etched inside, shining brilliantly in the sunlight.
"The Bloodline Essence of the Harpies is fairly precious."
A glimmer of interest sparkled in Ron's eyes:
"Especially these individuals in the breeding season, their internal energy activity is nearly doubled, which is perfect for one of my studies."
He looked up at Reynolds: "I wonder if Wizard Reynolds also needs to collect some samples?"
Reynolds shook his head lightly, a smile on his face:
"I'm not particularly interested in Harpies; these can all be yours."
"Then I accept with appreciation." Ron nodded in thanks and then activated the Crystal Bottle.
The runes atop the bottle began to glow, releasing a bluish energy fluctuation.
This energy, like fine threads, extended towards the fallen Harpies, precisely connecting to specific acupoints on each unconscious creature.
With the connection established, a vibrant multicolored liquid began to be extracted from within the Harpies, flowing along the energy threads toward the Crystal Bottle.
This liquid appeared extraordinarily precious, displaying a rainbow-like luster, sometimes flowing like mercury, sometimes swirling like smoke.
Reynolds watched Ron's alchemy tools with interest, about to speak, but was interrupted by the arrival of the airship captain and a team of security personnel.
"Honorable Wizards,"
The captain bowed deeply, his voice full of gratitude:
"Thank you for your timely assistance! If you hadn't quickly controlled the situation, the consequences would have been unimaginable."
"It was just a trivial effort." Ron responded calmly, neither seeking credit nor overly modest.
"The Airship Guild has regulations; Wizards who successfully ensure the airship's safety are entitled to extra rewards."
The captain said eagerly: "I wonder if you have any requests, honored Wizards? We will do our utmost to fulfill them."
Reynolds and Ron exchanged a glance, and then Reynolds gently shook his head:
"No need, we were just performing our duty. However..."
He turned to Ron: "These Harpy samples are beneficial to your research, aren't they?"
Ron nodded:
"Indeed. If possible, please arrange for personnel to transport these unconscious Harpies to the specified location; I need to extract further research materials."
"Certainly!"
The captain immediately agreed and began to arrange for the security team to carry out the task: "It's our honor!"
The Crystal Bottle had completed the initial extraction of Bloodline Essence, accumulating about half a bottle of vibrant multicolored liquid, shimmering subtly, with stable and pure energy fluctuations.
Ron carefully placed the Crystal Bottle into his Spatial Bag, a hint of satisfaction in his eyes.
This essence was sufficient for his subsequent experiments, particularly for further modulation of Dale's bloodline.
Preliminary judgment suggested that the gene source of the Harpies was the ancient Sea Sirens.
Perhaps, when fused with Dale's Sea Siren bloodline, some unexpected effects could be produced.
The journey remained calm and uneventful.
Through the cabin window, Ron could see the contours of the Glazed Islands becoming clearer, with green vegetation covering the blue-gray rocks.
Under the sunlight, they presented a rainbow-like halo, living up to the name "Glazed."
The airship slowly descended, passing through a few wisps of thin clouds, heading towards the towering Docking Tower in the center of the main island.
As the distance closed, the scenery on the island became clearer.
The main island was crescent-shaped, with a bustling town in the center, its buildings mainly in blue and white tones, harmoniously blending with the blue seas and skies.
The streets were bustling with people, including human merchants, as well as mermen and other aquatic races.
At the port, ships of various sizes were docked, including traditional wooden sailboats and airships driven by special energy.
The "Dawnwalker" finally docked steadily on the platform atop the Docking Tower.
As they approached the Central Lands, the ship would briefly refuel here and depart early the next morning.
