Chapter 267: Half-dragon

"What kind of attempt?" Ron raised an eyebrow, looking at the young yet remarkably poised girl before him.

Eve glanced around to ensure the other apprentices had left before speaking softly:

"I want to attempt a knowledge exchange, acquiring mutual benefits through teaching one another."

Ron was slightly taken aback; the idea was certainly novel.

In the Wizard World, benefits are a unique type of energy feedback usually given from student to teacher.

Though exchanging benefits through mutual teaching is theoretically possible, few have tried it in practice.

"It sounds interesting, but discussing it in such a public setting seems inappropriate," Ron replied cautiously.

"Of course, if you're interested, you can come to my residence for a detailed discussion. There, complete magic isolation measures are in place, which are more suitable for such topics."

Eve spoke softly, her amethyst eyes glinting with anticipation:

"I live in the Jadeite Pavilion in the North District. You're welcome to visit anytime."

Ron pondered for a moment; this was indeed an opportunity not to be missed.

Rather than for the knowledge exchange Eve proposed, it was more for the chance to learn up close about this Crown Clan princess, especially concerning her "Demon Devouring" condition.

"I'd be delighted to meet. How about this afternoon?" he asked.

"Great, three in the afternoon. I'll have Franka prepare everything."

Eve smiled slightly, a trace of uncontainable joy in her purple eyes.

She then turned and left, with two nanny golems and Franka following closely behind.

Ron watched their departing figures, lost in thought.

Conducting a knowledge exchange with a princess of the Crown Clan was indeed beyond his expectations.

"It seems the afternoon will be interesting."

He began packing up the equipment on the podium, preparing to head to the next classroom to continue his "Bloodline Modulation Basics" course.

By the afternoon, the outline of the Jadeite Pavilion was visible in the distance.

This exquisite building in the North District, although seemingly ordinary from the outside, Ron could sense the multiple layers of magic barriers enveloping it.

From the outside, it looked like a three-story elegant building.

But upon careful observation, one would notice that every brick, window, and door was intricately inscribed with runes.

The protective net woven by these runes was tight and exquisite, effectively isolating external magic disturbances while also preventing internal energy leakage.

Ron wore a dark gray robe, a small rune bag at his waist containing some small alchemy tools he thought might be useful.

For this meeting, he was both expectant and vigilant.

As he stepped onto the stone path leading to the pavilion, a gray-haired woman in a thick long dress was already waiting at the door.

"Wizard Ralph, welcome to your visit."

Franka bowed, her voice calm and polite, "Her Highness is waiting for you in the reception room."

Ron nodded in acknowledgment, while unobtrusively activating "Extraordinary Recognition," conducting an in-depth observation of the slender maid before him.

His heart nearly skipped a beat.

On the surface, Franka seemed just like a stable Advanced Apprentice.

The maid had silver-gray hair and eyes, her appearance could be described as graceful and lovely, but her stern demeanor detracted from her appeal.

However, under Ron's recognition, the hidden magic power fluctuations within her far surpassed this level.

In his special vision, her body's structure revealed astonishing anomalies:

Muscle fibers of extraordinary density, each containing explosive power;

The blood carried rich dragon species essence, at a concentration close to pure-blood Dragon Descendants;

The most shocking was the hidden intricate structure in Franka's bone framework, capable of expanding into dragon scale-like armor covering her entire body in an instant.

The dormant strength, akin to a volcanic lake beneath thin ice, its calm surface hiding magma capable of obliterating everything.

"Is this... a Dragon Descendant?" Ron was secretly amazed: "And the bloodline level is already approaching Star Ring Level?"

This level of bloodline modulation far exceeded any modulator he knew.

If Franka were to exert her full power, her combat ability might rival that of a Moon Level Wizard for a short time.

Such power was perfectly hidden, if not for his "Extraordinary Recognition" skill.

A simple spiritual power scan would have hardly detected it.

Ron entered the pavilion with Franka, noticing that the two nanny golems constantly by Eve's side became particularly conspicuous.

In his perception, each golem contained at least three layers of energy barriers, and their internal alchemy weapons were far beyond standard configurations.

"Grand Wizard Cassandra's protection for her daughter is indeed flawless."

Ron thought:

"A half-dragon maid along with two advanced combat golems, even several Moon Level Wizards would find it hard to break through such defense."

As for the higher Dark Sun Level existences, they are notable figures and wouldn't aimlessly launch such a suicidal attack.

After all, this place is the core of the Central Lands...

The corridors were lined with various exquisite artworks and extraordinary decorative items, each emitting ancient and powerful magic fluctuations.

Some even carried energy imprints from different eras, clearly heirloom treasures of several epochs.

"The foundation of the Crown Clan is indeed extraordinary." Ron silently assessed the value of these collections.

He recalled the stories Lady Allen had mentioned.

In her youth, Cassandra participated in explorations at the Abyss Edge, adorned with at least a dozen alchemy items.
