Mage Legend

Chapter 647: Legendary and Legends in Legends Chapter Nine Meeting (Final)_3

The Great Druid Nosta walked into the room, silently standing behind the Elf Queen, holding a letter in hand. It wasn't until Hernfurry turned around and asked, "Is there anything?" that the Great Druid bowed and handed over the letter.

"I'm sorry, I read the contents in advance," Nosta said, "Yilinrui has already left, she went with that mage named Lynch and left the Elf Kingdom."

The letter paper gently slipped from the Queen's hand, and she turned her gaze back to the window, then softly said, "I understand."

Lynch still didn't know that Yilinrui had secretly followed. He was in the Magic Laboratory making various scrolls. If in the past his opponents were some strange beasts, now he might face the enemy's armies. Although a mage should never find themselves in such battles, the experiences learned from blood fights and the spell applications he saw from that black-robed mage gave him a new understanding of such battles. Even the highest-level spells in current magic cannot decisively affect a large battlefield.

So he is now contemplating more effective spells. He shut everyone else out of the laboratory, allowing no disturbances. This caused Soka a little complaint as she stood beside Zilvra, pouting, "Although I agreed to go find the dwarves together, it looks no different from acting alone—can't see him all day!"

"But doesn't this fulfill your wish? No one else would stop you from sneaking into the storage room to eat the elf's candies." Zilvra patted Soka on the head, as if she was still that little one. "However, I'll help you burn off that extra energy." The Dark Elf drew her sword and said, "This time, you better be careful..."

Soka quickly backed away, calling out loudly for help to Uncle Morgan and Norton. Once Zilvra got close, the little angel had never won. But at this moment, Norton was focused on guiding the direction of the advancing tower, while Morgan clanged with effort beside the smelting furnace, crafting weapons he could be proud of. The white tiger yawned nearby, knowing it couldn't help at all.

A dark speck relieved Soka's predicament. The little angel hurriedly pointed to the edge of the sky, saying, "Sister Zilvra, stop! It looks like something is appearing there!"

They were surrounded by a windless silence, above them a clear sky, with the sun quietly inching westward. Despite the good visibility, Zilvra used all her strength to finally notice a dark speck in the north, slowly enlarging, like smoke being blown south.

"No matter what, its flying ability is really bad, swaying all over." The angel Soka's eyesight was naturally better than Zilvra's, even though the Dark Elf also had half angelic blood. But soon, Soka nervously drew her bow and arrow from her back, and said to Zilvra, "Something is chasing it from behind! It looks really dangerous!"

"What exactly is it, Soka, describe it for me," Zilvra said, "It's best not to get involved in any trouble."

Soka watched for a while, then said, "The one flying erratically seems to be a human riding on the back of a four-legged eagle. He's all silver and glowing. Behind him are three-headed monsters, spitting lightning at him." The little angel tugged her sister's hand and said, "Didn't brother Lynch say that the flying beasts with three heads are enemies?"

"We are not saints, we don't need to be responsible for others' lives and deaths. Instead..." Zilvra initially wanted Norton to activate the flying tower's Elemental Protection, preventing any outsiders from entering. But when she saw Soka's eyes, the part of her blood belonging to the dawn angel prevailed. She couldn't bear to make her sister unhappy, so she said, "Alright, this matter is up to you. I'll go see if Lynch has come out. Be careful yourself."

"Okay, sister, don't worry!" Soka tiptoed to kiss Zilvra's face, then immediately spread her wings to fly to the platform closest to that Sky Knight, pulling her bow to its fullest. It was a windless day, and Soka was confident she could shoot her arrow further than usual.
