The Constellation that had possessed the Venerable Robot fighting Anna started to rapidly grow desperate. Despite having a rather powerful-sounding Title as "The King of Steel", he had begun to realize that he had greatly underestimated what Anna could do.

Or how strong she actually was. Now trapped within her own Soul Domain, and with her ever-growing Myriad Self Arts and Aura rapidly beginning to overwhelm him, in combination with her various Skills…

It quickly made the Constellation realize that this was simply not even worth it! With each of Anna's snake-headed aura attacks, he felt his Cosmic Energy being rapidly drained.

And it wasn't going to get any better than this, as the limitations of descending into a Lower Dimension were severe.

"I have to get out of here! This is simply not worth the time and effort!"

Unlike Void Rulers, Constellations can't simply use their entire powers when they descend into Lower Dimensions; beings from Higher Dimensions can't simply go to the Lower Dimension and destroy entire planets.

They also become Lower Dimensional Beings, and their power is contained, suppressed naturally. Usually, Administrators will do this even harsher, applying penalties and even punishing Constellations overstepping their boundaries.

However, even without them, the Universe itself worked against those that dared to disrupt the balance of Causality; their Stories would begin to twist and turn, while most of them remained in the Higher Dimension where they came from.

Therefore, even though they were exceptionally strong even when descending, the avatar they chose had to also be strong and compatible enough.

The Venerable Robot was an excellent Avatar, but in the end, Anna was stronger, and with her own developing Constellation powers, plus the two Constellations merged within her Soul.

Well, things were bound to never be so easy!

"This is ridiculous! She's already getting closer to the level of a Novice Constellation in raw power alone! What in the world is the meaning of this?! How have the Administrators allowed a Mortal to become so powerful?! The only way would be if… if a Void Ruler is backing her up! But that's… ridiculous! …Right?"

The King of Steel quickly decided to pull out at the last second and abandon the battle altogether. In that moment, he imagined that Anna must have had several backers, some of them even stronger than him. Or perhaps even worse.

A Void Ruler.

"SHYAAAAH!"

He rapidly moved across the Domain using his Avatar, conjuring gigantic mechanical cannons and firing dozens of beams at him. Yet Anna used her double divine beast transformation to split apart the cosmic energy-powered lasers with her almighty swordsmanship, which was already reaching a level beyond what mortals could achieve.

"{Myriad Self Arts}: {One Hundred Rampaging Slashes}"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

One hundred slashes cut through all attacks; the mechanical cannons that manifested were split apart, exploding into pieces above the Constellation and his Avatar.

"Her attacks are endless!" He thought. "And she has already overpowered me in terms of strength with just transforming into some kind of animal! I have to get out of here and tell the Universal Computer about—"

BAAAM!

TRUUUM!

"Ugh?! I can't… I can't leave?!"

He realized too late that Anna's Soul Domain was a designed cage for Constellations, constantly warping space, and even a bit of time itself.

FLUOSH!

"Hah, did you think you were getting out?"

"You're not going anywhere."

The Cosmic Walls of the Domain warped as hundreds of tiny stars combined to create a massive centipede made of golden starlight and a yellow and blue cat made of the same ethereal energies.

Anna created her Domain with the ability that whenever a Constellation descended, Sepa and Bastet would quickly use their powers to contain it; perhaps alone they wouldn't be able to do it.

But due to their Stories and Existences being elevated as they became one with Anna, plus her Myriad Ego Skill further strengthening their materialization powers…

It was completely possible.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Anna's beastly voice echoed from above his mechanical body. Her shadows covered his robotic body as his glowing, crimson eyes gazed at her enormous Cosmic Radiance.

Her Story had evolved so much in this little time… It was simply ridiculous.

There had never been someone that evolved from a Mortal to a near-Constellation level being this quickly before!

"I have yet to even taste you well enough."

Anna licked her whiskers with her long tongue as the King of Steel began to regret his recent life choices, moving back reflexively.

"No…! I won't die here! Not against a Mortal like you!"

As he screamed in fury and anger, his Cosmic Powers materialized around his body; he stopped fooling around summoning cannons or mechanical weapons and manifested his Astral Body into the Avatar itself!

FLUOOOSH!

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

His entire body absorbed countless pieces of cosmic metal, rapidly transforming, dividing, and emerging; as Anna's eyes widened, she saw this being… becoming five of them at once.

"Funny trick, not going to work."

She rushed forward without hesitating; she wasn't the type of girl that would let her enemy transform mid-battle while she watched. Swinging her blade, she attacked whatever that monster was becoming.

Her swords came down as her Myriad Self Aura divided into countless tigers and foxes, opening their jaws to unleash beams of white flames and shadows.

"{Myriad Self Blade Arts}: {Blazing White Tiger Sword Dance}! {Abyssal Black Fox's Shadow Echoes}!"

By unleashing two new techniques she created through the convergence of her powers, she clashed against the King of Steel.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Her swords cut through the cosmic metal like a hot knife through butter, and her beastly power was enhanced; her shadows from her fox transformation created echoes of her blows, multiplying them rapidly even more.

"Nnnggh…! Not…! Not enough! I won't die now!"

TRUUUM!

However, before Anna could finish him off, the Constellation unleashed five powerful Cosmic Shockwaves at once, sending her flying all the way to the end of her Domain.

CRAAASH!

Her Barriers of Protection shattered one after another as she glared at the Constellation's Avatar and what it had become by draining most of his powers and materializing them.

"If I must survive, I'll use all I have! Prepare yourself to be eliminated, evildoer!"

"Evildoer?!"

Anna's eyebrows twitched as she just realized what she was looking at.

The original Venerable Robot had merged with several thousand tons of Cosmic Steel and embodied the "true form" of the King of Steel.

And his true form was five gigantic robots, beast-shaped mechas with bright colors at that!

"What in the world?! So that's your true form?!"

Not even Anna could believe what she was seeing! She had begun to wonder how these machine constellations even originated at one point but never got a true answer about them.

Until now…

"We are not one, but the combination of five!"

"We represent Justice!"

"We are the guardians of Humanity!"

"Or so we were…"

"We have awakened, we learned our true power, and how they were using us."

As they spoke, their appearances became clearer as the smoke dissipated; they looked like mythical beasts turned into machines.

A red Blazing Phoenix, made of metal, with a big Number 1 on its head, a golden beak, and blazing red metallic wings.

A Black Turtle made of steel, with glowing golden eyes made of jewels and a strong, green-colored shell, with the Number 2 on its shell.

A majestic Blue Qilin of hard cosmic gold, with powerful metallic alloys around its long, galloping legs, with the Number 3 on its chest.

A fierce-looking White Tiger of white, black, and golden metal colors, with the Number 4 on its forehead.

And lastly, a Golden Dragon made of metal, a mechanical imitation of the children of the Heavenly Golden Dragon, with the Number 5 on its chest.

They were all the King of Steel, and the King of Steel was all five of them!

"Y-You're Power Rangers?! No wait, their mechas!"

Anna pointed at them in shock, her eyes widening as the Constellation noticed she seemed way too relaxed and a bit excited at that!

"Power Rangers? What nonsense are you talking about?!"

"Our Masters held no such names; they were the Rainbow Knights, Guardians of the Planet."

"And we… used to be called their Machine Beasts, embodiments of their Morphin Cores."

"We helped them save Humanity, protect our Planet, and fight Evil, for decades."

"However, that eventually ended when we realized that we were much stronger."

"Much mightier."

"And bigger."

"And that we didn't need to obey them anymore."

"That we were being used as tools!"

"And that we were truly the ones doing all the work."

Anna was shocked; it was as if the Power Ranger's mechas had turned against them, and then somehow they became Constellations?!

What sort of insane Worldline did they even come from?

"We are the Five Auspicious Machine Beasts!"

Their Auras overflowed with Elemental Powers, they weren't just steel anymore, and they drew power from something they called "Morphin Cores".

"What did you do to your Power Rangers?!" Anna asked furiously.

As someone that grew up watching these TV shows, she felt utterly shocked they were actually real in some Worldline out there.

But even worse knowing what might have happened to them…

"The Rainbow Knight Squad was eliminated."

"We didn't need them."

"They thought we had bonds, pathetic."

"Once we learned how weak they were, it wasn't hard to crush them and splatter their bodies into the ground."

"Don't worry, they had become fertilizer for the plants of that world, which we abandoned long ago."

"Protect a world? Why would we ever do that?"

"We are almighty and powerful; we only cared about each other."

"The invaders of that world did as they pleased; we no longer stopped them!"

"And we went into the Universe beyond."

"We destroyed planets as we pleased, discovering just how truly powerful we were."

"Eventually, our combined form was crowned by the Stars, Constellations."

"Our Story became big enough… And we ascended."

"Our true form, the King of Steel, became a Constellation!"

"And so we stand united, as one, even when we are five!"

"You have misunderstood everything, girl. We aren't as weak as you imagine!"

"And we're about to show you why we were feared on our Worldline as the World-Eating Beasts of Calamity."

Anna grew serious as she focused her powers and prepared to defend. All five of them rush towards her, leaving behind colorful cosmic auras; their giant metallic claws, jaws, and laser beams reach her from every angle.
