This place is a Small Cave Heaven, independent of the Real World, and its manifestation in the Pure Land Middle Thousand resembles a star.

The interior of the Small Thousand Cave Heaven has a distinctive style different from other Buddhist Pure Lands.

Compared to the opulent architecture of the Buddhist sect, this place exudes an elegance of small bridges and flowing water.

Pavilions, small bridges, terraces, and streams.

In front of the pavilion is a lotus pond, where a white lotus as large as a grindstone blooms magnificently.

Beside the pond, a few figures are seated.

One is cloaked in flames, with twisted black horns atop their head, and exudes the scent of sulfur.

Another has white hair and wears white robes, with exquisite features, dragon horns on their forehead, and dragon whiskers by their ears.

The last one has colorful hair, wears a scarlet robe, and possesses a nose like a bull's, a head like a goat's, and antlers like a deer's.

These are the Three Great Heavenly Immortal Generals under Jin Naluo Bodhisattva: Night Demon Heavenly Demon, Silver Dragon King, and Blood Qilin.

In recent years, Song Lin has traveled far and wide to exterminate demons, using the white lotus to suppress many, among whom these three have the highest cultivation.

The Buddhist sect inherently has the tradition of "laying down the butcher's knife and attaining Buddhahood," so Song Lin boldly placed the devils here.

Now seated under Jin Naluo Bodhisattva are the Three Great Demon Kings, thirty-six Demon Marquises, seventy-two Demon Uncles, the three hundred sixty-five Demon Marshals of the Celestial Cycle, and countless devils inside the white lotus.

The so-called white lotus is, in truth, the Wutian Black Lotus transformed.

Although there was once a risk of discovery, Song Lin is no longer afraid. With so many demons imprisoned within the lotus, would it not be natural for occasional Demonic Qi to leak out?

Crack! Crack!

The lotus bloomed, its petals unfurling, and at the center sat a white-robed Bodhisattva.

This was none other than Song Lin, who had taken on the alias "Le Tian."

"Greetings, Buddha."

"Rise. Do not call me Buddha when outside from now on."

"Understood."

"What is the Buddha's command?" Blood Qilin asked.

At this time of day, Song Lin rarely awakens. When he does, there is surely a mission to be delivered.

"Take the treasure lotus and go to the Immovable Buddha Realm to quell the chaos and recruit more forces."

"Understood."

The trio departed, each leading their respective troops.

The Grotto Heaven became empty and desolate once more.

Song Lin began to ponder.

The Buddhist sect differs from the Heavenly Court. The Heavenly Court is loosely structured, while the Buddhist sect is hierarchically organized, allowing for the cohesion of power. Coupled with its unique crowning inheritance method, the Buddhist sect has slightly more experts than the Heavenly Court.

Although the experts created by this crowning method are superficial in skill, they do occupy that realm, which ordinary immortals cannot overcome.

Crucially, many former Taoist School experts have also been converted to the sect.

With the balance shifting, the Buddhist sect naturally holds a slight advantage over the Taoist School.

Though the Buddhist Sect has fewer Small Thousand Worlds than the Heavenly Court, their quality is exceptional.

"Thus, to establish oneself in the Buddhist sect, one must climb through its system."

Song Lin thought.

Of course, not all sect factions have ceased to exist in the Buddhist sect.

However, those factions have entered Nirvana.

The concept of Nirvana differs from the depletion of life and death, but resurrection is nearly impossible. Unless faced with major upheaval, a Buddha would not enter Nirvana to preserve relics.

The highest level of the Buddhist hierarchy consists of the Vertical and Horizontal Three Buddha.

Vertical Three Buddha are Randeng Buddha of the past, Shakyamuni Buddha of the present, and Maitreya Buddha of the future.

Horizontal Three Buddha are Shakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha, and Amitabha Buddha.

Shakyamuni Buddha is also Tathagata.

Tathagata merely signifies Buddha; with frequent usage, the title became exclusively associated with Shakyamuni Buddha.

Tathagata occupies the central position of both vertical and horizontal lines, which implies an unparalleled strength.

Song Lin occasionally suspects that this realm may not be the true essence of the Tathagata Buddha.

After all, this is a Three Pure Ones Divine System territory, and the Western Tathagata here might merely be a Real World projection of the Great Thousand World's Tathagata.

True Immortals who ascend another step become Great Enlightenment Golden Immortals in the Buddhist sect, equivalent to Daluo Immortals of the Heavenly Court.

These immortals can touch the River of Time. At such a level, one might grasp the secrets of the Monster Chronicles and uncover all the causes and effects within the Great Thousand World.

Such were Song Lin's thoughts.

Thus, no opportunity can be overlooked; sectarian bias must be abandoned. Whether it is from the Buddhist sect or the Taoist School, one must absorb all valuable knowledge—this is the path of the Daluo Immortal.

Clearing his mind of distractions, it seemed impossible to reach the level of the Horizontal and Vertical Three Buddha, but it might be feasible to strive for the position directly beneath them.

The Buddhist sect's Maitreya Buddha, Medicine Buddha, and Tathagata Buddha—all three are True Immortal level experts, genuine True Immortals.

Among the five Buddha of the Horizontal and Vertical Three Buddha, Randeng Buddha has entered Nirvana, and Amitabha Buddha has no original form.

Thus, the true Buddhas are only these three.

Amitabha Buddha is also known as the Amitabha of Infinite Life, and the Western Pure Land was created by him. Amitabha Buddha is simultaneously a collective appellation for all Buddhas of the Ten Directions and Three Eras.

The "Amitabha" recited by many Buddhist disciples is effectively using "one Buddha" to represent "all Buddhas."

Below them are the Five Directions Buddha.

These are straightforward. They are manifestations of Shakyamuni Buddha's five wisdoms, rarely appearing in physical form, and are mostly abstract concepts.

Below them are the Eight Great Bodhisattvas—Guanyin, Mahasthamaprapta, Ksitigarbha... and others.

The first three are True Immortal-level experts.

The others have cultivation similar to Song Lin's, at the level of crowned True Immortals.

Of course, Song Lin's current rank is far below the Eight Great Bodhisattvas. He's more akin to an ordinary Bodhisattva.

Beneath the Eight Great Bodhisattvas are the Ten Great Disciples, including Sariputra, Xuputi, Anan, and Kasyapa. During the Journey to the West, the ones who accepted bribes were Anan and Kasyapa.

If darkness were to consume them, these two would be prime choices.

Song Lin's position is slightly higher than the Ten Great Disciples.

Below the Ten Great Disciples are the Eighteen Arhats, Eighteen Jialan, Twenty Celestial Beings, and so forth.

These roles require no elaboration.

"First elevate my position, then consider the rest."

Song Lin thought.

At the very least, transform the Eight Great Bodhisattvas into Nine Great Bodhisattvas. Better yet, leverage his expertise in Demon Extermination to become the Buddha's trusted aide and the first line of defense against the Heavenly Court's strongest warriors.
