Pioneer of the Abyss: A Deepsea Livestreamed Isekai LitRPG

B2 | Chapter 23

Aqua

My plan for dealing with the turtles ends up being a rather simple plan. I'll summon the maw abyssal servant outside of the city before having all of my other abyssal servants sacrifice themselves to drive the shock turtles over towards the maw. All with several of my other skills activated to stun and make them unable to fight back.

Like Light of the Abyss, Ink of the Abyssal Kraken, Abyssal Reversal, Converging Maelstrom, and Pressure of the Abyss – which has increased in the range after hitting 100 points in Magical Strength. All of which should mix well together to lock them down.

I can start with Abyssal Reversal and Light of the Abyss to disorient them and attack their minds. Then Converging Maelstrom to confuse them even more, mixed with Ink of the Abyssal Kraken to blind them all, slow them, and poison them.

And last but certainly not least, Pressure of the Abyss to further slow them down.

All while letting the abyssal servants drag the turtles down into the maw to eat.

The maw's scales and exoskeleton are strongly well defended against electricity. And even its insides aren't all that affected by it.

After all, the thing is undead. Even as an abyssal servant.

And electricity doesn't affect undead very much.

At least, not in smaller voltage.

If it's to the degree of lightning, then it's just as effective as fire on undead. And fire is very effective against undead.

Although fire doesn't exactly work much underwater.

For obvious reasons.

Anyway, after I finish making the plan, and after the few days pass, I begin heading out towards the ocean with the tour guide. And it doesn't take long before I enter it. Nor is it hard to figure out that I have entered it.

Even without the tour guide telling me that we're in the ocean, it's blatantly obvious by the little bits of electrical current running through the water. Along with the very slight tickling sensation I feel.

The others kept saying that the electricity was painful to them, but thanks to my scales trait, it's only tickling me. Which is nice.

And as we swim through the ocean, we run into different types of monsters. Including but not limited to a lot of eels, some jellyfish, manta-rays, and other thinner and less physically strong monsters that are all coated in electricity. Or just use electricity in their attacks.

Actually, there are even dolphins that we find that shoot out electricity through a horn on their heads.

Also, I learn about a different issue while heading over towards the shock turtles. An issue the hunters haven't told me about until now because of them not knowing if I can handle it.

About the valla that's at about six thousand five hundred to seven thousand meters deep in the Qualta Ocean that is about level two hundred and thirty-eight. And the quasi that is at unexplored depths in that same ocean that kicked that very valla out of its own territory.

A quasi that apparently level four hundred and forty.

If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

The valla honestly shouldn't be too big of an issue to deal with. Seeing as it is a massive jellyfish that lets out electricity for thirty meters around it to paralyze prey before absorbing the prey into its body directly without any mouth.

All I have to do is use my abyssal servants and have them attack it while I remain at a distance.

It shouldn't be too much of a problem. Even with its high level.

But the quasi? That's a different matter entirely.

From what I'm told, the quasi is like a fish spider. It has five eyes on its spider-like head, along with a single eye on the joint connecting each of its limbs to its main body, and a spinneret like a spider on its rear. With a type of underwater silk that it fills the ocean with making spiderwebs everywhere despite it being underwater.

On top of that, the monster spans over a kilometer in length, has multiple fins on its different body segments' sides, back, and front, and doesn't seem to have any sort of lantern.

Despite using light as a major source of its attacks.

And last but certainly not least, it has little baby fish spider it sends out all over the ocean.

We haven't gotten close enough to it to see its light. Mostly because the valla itself is avoiding the quasi as much as possible. Staying far away from its light.

Despite that though, I have seen some fish spiders. Which look rather disturbing.

I've never seen spiders with fins, gills, and scales before after all.

And the things are currently dragging other monsters down deeper into the water.

We're not actually very deep right now though. So the monsters aren't very powerful.

Well, other than the fish spiders. They are in the upper level one hundreds in level.

Probably around the same level as the shock turtles are supposed to be.

But at the same time, they're completely ignoring us.

Actually, since there aren't many of them here, and the few I do see run fleeing in terror the moment they get too close to me.

Likely due to that 'Abyssal Kraken aura' thing I give off. Since that seems to terrify a lot of monsters I see.

Anyway, we continue moving through the waters in the direction of the Hunter's City. Where the shock turtles are.

Within the Middle Layers of the Abyss

Vesaros Azuranth frowns as he looks at the large temple floating in the middle of the Abyss.

"What… is this?" Vesaros eventually mutters while the other three Kraken Bloodliners and even the two Abyssal Orca Bloodliners who joined them on their search down in the Abyss just to add to their numbers share his look of confusion.

This is the very first time anyone has ever found a structure in the Abyss that looks man-made. But none of them can record any video or photographs of it because of the special quality of the Abyss blocking any and all recordings or pictures.

Except for the Pioneer Broadcast.

So after looking over the outside of the temple for a little while, they finally move on to studying the inside of the temple. Only to find numerous monsters living inside of it. Strange balls of tentacles that are all at least level fifty thousand.

Monsters that the Bloodliners all work together to kill as they slowly make their way through the temple.

All the way until they reach the main hall of the temple. Which has a large pyramid with a large mural at the top.

One showing numerous different monsters.

Vesaros narrows his eyes while the other Bloodliners begin studying it and muttering to themselves.

The mural itself is enormous, with numerous different biomes all scattered across the bottom of the mural, and what looks like the entrance to the Abyss at the top. Meanwhile the many monsters are all scattered across their own biomes at the bottom of the mural.

And the monsters themselves are vaguely familiar to each of the Bloodliners.

Or at least some of them are.

Especially one in particular.

A massive tree made out of blood, flesh, and bone. One covering an entire planet in an ocean of blood.

And some of the other monsters shown look just like the monsters that the Bloodliners transform into.

Meaning that every single one of the monsters at the bottom of the mural is most likely an Ancient Monster. Including the numerous monsters that look completely different from anything the Bloodliners have ever seen or transformed into.

But what shocks the Bloodliners the most is the sight of enormous tentacles stretching down from the entrance to the Abyss towards the many Ancient Monsters. Tentacles that are so enormous that they're larger than the Ancient Monsters themselves.

And the tentacles themselves are also familiar to the Bloodliners. Because they look like supersized versions of the tentacles Aqua Azuranth summons during her Pioneer Broadcast.

"Is the Abyssal Kraken… capturing the Ancient Monsters?" Vesaros mutters as the others show surprise and even hints of fear at the thought. "And dragging them into the Abyss?"

Then a single question comes to each of the Bloodliners at once.

Just what… is the Abyssal Kraken?
