The shop was in chaos - the young girl, the apprentice, and shelves had all fallen down, while the others stood dumbfounded, exchanging bewildered looks with evident confusion in their eyes.
In the pin-drop silence, only the sweet, gentle snores of the girl could be heard, causing a few customers to involuntarily open their mouths, wanting to yawn, but they forcibly held it back.
At this moment, the Sergeant in the corner of the shop stepped forward, forming a seal with one hand, dispelling the disguise-enabling Yin Yang Technique, then spoke loudly:
"I'm the attendant of the Saintess Candidate; let me handle this matter here."
After undoing the disguising spell, the Pantheon-level Ghost Warrior's aura seasoned with battles in the military released, and although he presented no proof, his posture, as straight and unyielding as a long blade, instilled immediate trust.
However, just because no one questioned his identity didn't mean a single word from him could pacify the current situation.
The young storekeeper, finally coming to his senses, stood up, his face flushed, unable to find words to describe this unexpected disaster.
The store, passed down for several generations and now in his hands, had absorbed years of family feelings and efforts. Though not considered a large store, it had been operating peacefully in the Holy City for years.
Yet, just in that brief minute earlier, the shop appeared as though a dozen strong men had rampaged through it.
Even though there wasn't much actual damage, even a merchant who valued harmony in business knew when it was time to be angry.
Taking several deep breaths, the storekeeper glanced several times at the Depraved Hero on the ground. After confirming something, he gathered his words and courageously glared at the Sergeant.
"If it really was a Saintess who wrecked my store, naturally it's my problem.
"But I'm completely familiar with the information of the fifty-five Saintess Candidates; there is no one like her among the candidates!"
The storekeeper's voice was resolute, increasing in volume.
"You claim she is a Saintess Candidate? Could it be you're attempting to sully those noble nuns under the guise of the Saintess?!"
The storekeeper's anger shattered the silence, and the other customers present began whispering among themselves.

♛: The Sergeant has connections with the Evil-breaking Bishop.
The Sergeant glanced at the Depraved Hero sleeping soundly on the floor.
Her skin was a healthy wheat color, and though her features were incredibly delicate and identical to the Hero's, unless someone knew her well, it indeed wouldn't be easy to see the connection at first glance.
Moreover, he hadn't actually said she was a Saintess Candidate; the enraged storekeeper seemed to have misunderstood.
Nonetheless, the Sergeant didn't intend to correct him, he merely raised his hand slightly, signaling the people present to quiet down.
"Calm down."
These four short words cut through all the noise present like a knife, bringing silence to the scene.
The storekeeper wanted to flare up again, but when met with the Sergeant's calm yet profound eyes, he held back his words, sitting back down with a blush, waiting for the other party's explanation.
And the snoring of the Depraved Hero had stopped at some point, she slightly lifted her eyelids, glanced at the Sergeant's straight-backed silhouette, and quickly closed her eyes again.
'Really, this guy doesn't show any flaws.
'Forget it, I'm too lazy to explain; I'll let him handle this mess.'
Although she indeed briefly fell asleep just now, the Sect Follower's ability wasn't sufficient to put someone into complete slumber. Instead, with the aid of this brief nap, they would employ subsequent Spirit Magic to expand the dreamscape and alter consciousness, which was the foundation of the Black Dream Disciple's standing in the Holy City.
On the eve of the Saintess selection, daring to brazenly go out shopping was a testament to how well they'd concealed themselves before.
Unfortunately, this time they ran into a Pantheon-level Ghost Warrior, and coupled with the Depraved Hero's keen nose for "depravity," their previously unfailing combos naturally found no room to play.
And the Depraved Hero woke up right after the Sergeant revealed his identity. She initially intended to seize the opportunity to punch that detestable guy, but finding no chance, she simply continued lying down, letting him clean up the mess for her.

Though the Depraved Hero kept her eyes closed, her breathing steady, yet from time to time she exuded a killing intent that even made the Sergeant somewhat uneasy, as if she might suddenly leap up and punch him.
The Sergeant looked somewhat helpless, coughed lightly, and turned around saying:
"Although I don't know if you're the Hero's Shishen or something else, you better get up for now. I've already contacted the Bishop of the Evil-breaking Church through the Yin Yang Technique; he'll soon be here to deal with these Black Gate followers."
Black Gate ——
Even though the Sergeant wasn't explaining to the storekeeper, the instant this term appeared, everyone in the store couldn't help but gasp, while the storekeeper's face turned from red to white.
The precedent set in the Capital still lay fresh in mind, and although the present Holy City appeared to be bustling with lights and excitement on the surface, behind the scenes, the personnel from the Judgement Court and the Heresy Court were tirelessly acting like hunting dogs, aiming to eradicate any ominous fire sparks.
