"Mhm… ugh… oh yes, yes… mhm…"
Sounds of moans filled the air as a woman lay sprawled on a bed, an adult toy in hand, which she was using on herself.
Her cheeks were flushed bright red as she lost herself in the dimly lit room—until the double doors suddenly broke off their hinges, letting the harsh light from outside spill in and shatter her peace.
"Hey! Who dares disturb my peace?!" the woman shouted in a loud panic, hurriedly throwing on her clothes, her face still red with embarrassment.
The room was spacious, its wide layout giving off an open, breathable feel. Smooth, polished floors stretched from wall to wall, and warm light spilled from the ceiling lamps, casting a soft golden glow across the interior.
In one corner stood a massive bed with a sturdy, elegant frame draped in neatly arranged sheets and thick pillows. The bed's size alone made it the room's centerpiece—inviting yet commanding and it was where the woman had been having her little fun just moments ago.
Across from it, near the second corner, sat a simple office setup—a sleek wooden desk with a matching chair. Papers, a lamp, and a few neatly stacked items rested on the table, giving it a clean but lived-in touch. The balance between the cozy rest space and the functional work area gave the room a sense of quiet order, perfect for both focus and relaxation.
The remaining space was about eight metres wide, allowing for ample movement and comfort. Every corner of the room screamed class and wealth, but right now, chaos ruled it.
The woman finally rose from the bed, letting her full figure come into view.
She was dressed in a sleek, tight-fitting black outfit that looked like a blend between a shirt and pants but wasn't. It clung to her body like a second skin, perfectly outlining her curves and emphasizing her beautiful, seductive figure.
She was stunning in the most effortless way—a kind of beauty that didn't need effort or embellishment. Her long, golden-blonde hair flowed smoothly down her back, catching the light with every subtle movement. Her eyes were a striking shade of blue, sharp yet soft, holding a calm allure that drew attention instantly.
Her figure carried a natural fullness—elegant and balanced with a graceful posture that spoke of confidence rather than arrogance. Every step she took was measured and quiet, yet impossible to ignore. Her very presence could silence a room: radiant, poised, and dangerously captivating.
And now, she stood before her bed, about to step forward to confront whatever had interrupted her fun by destroying her doors, when two men walked in.
With a slow clap of her hands, the lights flickered brighter, illuminating the entire space. The sight made her freeze. The doors weren't just blown off, the floor was littered with ten men, all writhing in pain. Not just any men, but her own gang members, groaning on the ground.
Behind the two intruders, she could see more bodies—her thirty men who were supposed to guard the hallway either unconscious or also writhing in agony.
'They did this? These two men did th…' she paused mid-thought as something caught her eye.
One of the men had scales lining his arms, and even his eyes were slightly slanted, a clear sign that he was no ordinary human.
'He's definitely a hybrid. Could be that it wasn't the two of them, just the hybrid. This might be difficult depending on how strong he really is.' The woman frowned deeply as she lifted her head, glaring coldly at the two men standing before her.
"Who are you both? How dare you do this to my men?!" the woman demanded, her voice laced with anger and frustration as she clenched her fists so tightly her knuckles cracked.
"I thought that dude was kidding me, but he was serious. This gang is really being led by a woman?" Max muttered, albeit a little too loudly, his brows furrowed in genuine confusion as his eyes swept over her.
"What? Women can't lead? You want to tell me that even women can't become gang leaders?!" the woman fired back, her voice rising sharply as she glared daggers at the men.
"No, no, no! That's not what I mean," Max quickly said, shaking his head from side to side. "I was just genuinely surprised. Because being a gang leader myself, I know that for people to follow you, you need to be strong enough to show them why they should follow you. So I'm wondering how you got these men to follow you."
"A gang leader, huh?" the woman muttered as her expression shifted slightly. She stared at the duo with a mix of curiosity and wariness. "It's obvious that you aren't from around here, and you're definitely not the leader of the other gang. So tell me—who are you, and why have you come here? Why go through so much trouble just to reach me?"
"I just want to talk," Max said calmly, a small smile forming on his face as he met her piercing gaze. "I was almost a victim of your shady business with the dark forces, and honestly, I'm a little pissed. But what confuses me more is how a human like you could decide to work with demon vessels. Or don't you even know what they are?!"
The woman's eyes narrowed as she stepped closer, her aura sharp and hostile. "You can't just barge in here, beat up all my men, and start questioning me as if I'm your kid sister.
You have no right to meddle in my business, and I definitely don't owe you any explanations. So I advise you to leave now before things get messy." Her fists tightened again, the sound of her teeth grinding echoing faintly in the tense silence.
"You don't understand the gravity of this issue," Max shot back, his tone suddenly serious as he took a slow step forward. The smile on his face had vanished completely.
"Demon vessels are humans who let their bodies be flooded by demonic power so they can become stronger. Do you know what demons really are? They want to subdue every human and take over this whole damn world! And you're partnering with them?! How could you be so ignorant?!"
"And you think I don't know all that?!" the woman snapped, her voice cutting through the air as she clapped back without hesitation. Her irritation was clear, and even Max froze for a second, taken aback by how intense her tone was.
"Wait… you know about demons?!" Max asked, his brows rising in confusion as his gaze fixed on her.
"Yes!" the woman shouted, her breathing heavy, her teeth grinding as she glared furiously at the two men in front of her.
"Wait, what?!" Jim and Max yelled in unison, disbelief etched across their faces as the tension in the room spiked even higher.
