Chapter 649: Wedding (Part 3)

Father White, adorned in a solemn robe, walked slowly up to the podium. He smiled gently, nodding at Jimmy and Nia as he looked at them warmly, then turned his gaze to the seated congregation.

"Today, we gather in this solemn and beautiful setting, in the presence of God, to witness and celebrate the wedding of Jimmy Yang and Nia Miller. This is a special moment, a moment filled with love and blessings.

Marriage is one of the most precious gifts bestowed upon us by God. In the Bible, God says: 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.' This tells us that in marriage, the hearts and spirits of two people will unite together to face life's joys and challenges jointly.

Jimmy Yang and Nia Miller, you are about to enter the holy covenant of marriage, a covenant that is not only a promise between the two of you but also a commitment to God and this church family.

The world is full of temptations and challenges, but through your bond with God and mutual support, you will be able to build a strong foundation to pass through every stage of life and create a lasting relationship filled with love and respect.

Love is the cornerstone of marriage. Love is not just an emotion but a choice and commitment. When we choose each other, accept one another, and treat each other with love, we can truly experience the power of love given by God.

Trust is the pillar of marriage, respecting each other's privacy, being honest, and maintaining open and sincere communication. This will help you establish an indestructible trust relationship.

Forgiveness is the secret in marriage; everyone makes mistakes, and we all have our flaws and shortcomings. But remember, forgiveness is not just pardoning mistakes but accepting each other's wholeness and uniqueness. When we forgive one another, we allow love and harmony to flow between us.

Lastly, let's pray together that God bless and strengthen your marriage; may you grow together in each other's care and support. May your marriage become a beacon of God's love and mercy, enlightening your lives and inspiring those around you.

Dear Jimmy Yang and Nia Miller, please accept this blessing and build your marriage on equality, respect, forgiveness, and love.

May God's grace be with you always. Amen."

As Father White concluded the wedding sermon, a sacred atmosphere filled the church. Jimmy unconsciously switched to Heart Eye time and found that this holy feeling was real. The church indeed brimmed with a faint energy of Holy Light, inspiring awe and warmth without overstimulating the congregation's nerves.

Jimmy and Nia stood hand in hand. Father White, holding the Bible, approached them, "Beloved groom and bride, please listen to each other. Now I will present you a series of vows. Do you pledge to respond with sincerity and true love? Please answer me solemnly."

Jimmy, holding Nia's hand, looked firmly at Father White. Father White continued, "Groom, do you pledge to love and respect the bride beside you unconditionally, in prosperity or adversity, in wealth or poverty, to share with her the joys and challenges of life, until death separates you?"

Jimmy answered resolutely, "Yes, I do."

Father White then turned to Nia, saying, "Bride, do you pledge to accept the groom wholeheartedly, through life's trials and tribulations, through joy and pain, to stand by him unconditionally, respecting him and experiencing this journey of marriage together, until death separates you?"

Nia also answered with determination, "Yes, I do."

Father White nodded with a warm smile, gazing at them kindly, "This is a sacred and irrevocable vow. May God witness your sincerity and shower His blessings upon you. Now, you may exchange rings."

After the best man and maid of honor handed the rings to Jimmy and Nia, the two exchanged their rings, placing them on each other's left ring finger.

Father White: "In the presence of God, I pronounce you, Jimmy Yang and Nia Miller; congratulations on becoming husband and wife. Now, you may kiss your bride."

Jimmy gently drew Nia closer, and under the gaze of all, they kissed each other.
