Transmigrated Into the World of Magic and Swords

Chapter 310: The Rightful Successor

"How dare you act arrogantly in our place, fraudster? Do you think you are unbeatable?"

"He is so annoying! Let's beat him up and make him regret his actions!"

"Yeah! We must teach these swindlers a lesson they will never forget for the rest of their lives."

"Beat them to death!"

"Kill them!"

Disciples of the Blue Moon Organization rushed toward Ren and his women.

Ren, who had lost his patience, flew into the sky and used his strongest skill.

*Bzzz…

The entire world suddenly changed.

All disciples stopped charging as the ground beneath them turned into a shimmering emerald sea and the bright afternoon transformed into night.

When the sound of crashing waves reached their ears, a wave of terror surged through them, as if they had stepped into hell itself, a place where death could come at any moment.

Vaelen and the elders trembled uncontrollably after Ren altered the world. And when a massive moon rose into the night sky, they dropped to their knees instantly.

As the disciples of the main branch, they knew the skill Ren was unleashing because it was not just one of the most powerful skills in the world, but it was also the foundation of their organization.

The Moon Rising Over the Sea!

Only Finley, the founder of the organization, could perform that skill because he had never passed it down to anyone.

And since Ren could do it and also possessed the token of authority, that meant he was not pretending to be the Palace Master.

He truly was the Palace Master!

After all, there was no way Finley would pass his created skill to his enemies.

He didn't even teach it to his subordinates.

After realizing their mistake, Vaelen and the elders exchanged glances with each other.

'We made a mistake, a grave mistake!'

At this moment, they suddenly recalled his words about rebelling against the main branch.

Without waiting for another second, Vaelen knelt down and slammed his head against the emerald water.

"Please forgive me, Young Palace Master! This subordinate truly had no idea you were the rightful successor. I beg you. Please show mercy!" Even though Vaelen was a 6-star mage, he didn't dare to fight Ren as he was the rightful successor.

"We let our emotions cloud our judgment, Young Palace Master. Please forgive our foolishness and show mercy." The elders followed Vaelen's actions and knelt down as well.

One by one, the disciples were puzzled.

'What's going on? Why are our leader and elders suddenly kneeling down to him?'

They had no idea about the history of the Moon Rising Over the Sea skill, so they didn't know what was happening.

"Leader, elders, why are you kneeling to him? He is a fraudster! We must kill him for daring to pretend to be our supreme leader."

"That's right. Let's beat them to death!"

"He might have a powerful skill, but we have numbers. I believe we won't lose this fight!"

The disciples tried to get them to fight Ren and his women again.

Vaelen straightened his back and shouted angrily at them. "How dare you say something like that to the Young Palace Master? Do you want me to kill you now?"

"Young Palace Master? Didn't you say he was a fraudster?" the blue-haired man asked in confusion.

"Shut up! I was wrong earlier!" Vaelen finally admitted his mistake.

"What are you doing? Kneel and apologize now!" the elders shouted in unison.

"Anyone who refuses to kneel will be executed right away!" Vaelen added.

After hearing their words, all disciples knelt down and begged for mercy.

Diana and Scarlett still wore angry faces because they had slandered them earlier.

They even tried to kill them, so kneeling and apologizing were not enough to atone for their grave mistake.

"Why are you kneeling before me now?" Ren's voice echoed through the entire sea. "Weren't you eager to kill us just moments ago? Go on. Raise your weapons. Let's finish this here and now."

"Young Palace Master, we have never met you before, so… so we didn't know you were his successor. Please forgive us. We never had any intention of betraying you or the main branch." Vaelen explained his reason for slandering Ren.

"That… that's right, Young Palace Master." One of the elders added. "The previous Palace Master had been missing for so long, and there was no news of him at all. Given the current circumstances, we could not help but doubt you. Please show mercy, Young Palace Master."

"But the way you handled the situation was wrong, especially you, Branch Leader." Ren's voice was still filled with fury as the anger within him hadn't disappeared yet. "Instead of calmly asking for an explanation, you went straight to slander me. You even forgot the fact that I saved your subordinates. Is your head just for decoration? Did you only grow older without gaining a shred of wisdom?"

"We are stupid! We are fools!" Vaelen and the others said in unison.

At this moment, Ren suddenly remembered Finley's words to him.

"Since this is your first offense, I will spare you all. Just slap your faces ten thousand times while apologizing." Ren could forgive them, but they still needed to be punished for their actions. "If any of you fail to complete it, even by one slap, I will take it as defiance and execute you on the spot."

"Thank you for showing mercy, Young Palace Master." After saying that, Vaelen and the elders began slapping their own faces while repeatedly apologizing.

The disciples followed suit right away because Ren said they needed to be punished, too.

"Ren…"

"Handsome…"

Diana and Scarlett approached him after Ren deactivated his skill and descended from the sky.

"Ren, how about we cut one of their arms?" Scarlett still thought their punishment was too light since they had tried to kill them earlier.

"I agree!" Diana added. "We must make them remember their mistake forever!"

Vaelen and the others instantly stopped slapping their faces and widened their eyes in terror.

'Palace Mistresses, please don't suggest something so terrifying!'

They wanted to cry when they heard their suggestion.

"No. That is enough for their punishment." Ren refused because losing one hand would decrease their strength greatly.

Vaelen and the others were relieved when Ren rejected their idea.

'Thank god!'

They said in their minds.

Ren turned to them when they stopped slapping their faces. "Why are you stopping? Do you think their suggestion is better?"

"No, Young Palace Master. We like your punishment better." With those words, they began slapping their faces again.

After nearly five hours, they finally completed the punishment. Their faces were swollen, and blood dripped from the corners of their lips.

But even so, none of them held a grudge against Ren because this was the price they had to pay for their mistake.

"Prepare a chamber for us." Ren said. "After that, you can heal yourself."

"Understood, Young Palace Master." They responded in unison.

----

Ren's Chamber, Private Bathroom.

'I will ask them about the main palace and the Crimson Sun organization tomorrow.'

Ren was currently soaking in the wooden bathing tub, alone.

The tub was quite big and rectangular in shape.

He was alone because Diana and Scarlett were in bed.

'I will also ask if there is a dragon race on this continent or not.'
