A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1317 - 1318: Fury Brian Lai

Chapter 1317: Chapter 1318: Fury, Brian Lai

This...

This big bastard!

"Oblivion Sorcerer? Heh heh heh heh, what are you doing in my world?"

On the colossal body of the Breeding Spider Mother, uncountable spawn-spiders crawled about, hideous to the extreme. Compared to her, even Green who had activated his Ancestral True Body of the ancestor of humans seemed truly insignificant.

A Dominator Level existence, with the Strength to easily annihilate worlds, its gaze could overlook an entire cluster of worlds, traversing the void.

"I’m here for the Wandering Dandelion. She too comes from Wizard World, she is my companion. I’m taking her back. This is the guidance of the Wizard’s Will."

Green’s voice sank as he gathered his breath, brooking no argument.

The ancestor of humans’ lower jawbone was rather broad, evolved to chew and swallow prey of far greater size. His voice boomed from a cavernous throat, heavy and harsh.

The countless compound eyes of the Breeding Spider Mother rolled "dilulu" around.

"Heh heh heh heh, so it’s her. The food that delivered itself to my door more than a thousand years ago. Fine! Fulfill my condition, and I’ll let her go."

Clearly, Green had not expected the Breeding Spider Mother to agree so easily. In his Ancestral True Body, fangs bared, he hastily spoke up.

"What condition!?"

As he spoke, Green listed out all the tradeable items he had calculated along the way. If possible, Green had even prepared himself to pay the price of a portion of his Soul of the Dominator!

"Help me overthrow the Eternal Moon World and implant the Fountain of Hatred into that world’s Eternal Spring. Then I might consider letting her go, heh heh heh heh..."

"Impossible!"

Green rejected it on the spot.

It was simply too insane. To rashly throw himself into this vortex of war between Dominators, and even involve Dominators far more powerful like the Eternal Spring and the Fountain of Hatred—if he truly signed such a pact, this cluster of worlds would likely become the end of Green’s journey back to Wizard World.

What’s more, by comparison, Green would rather stand on the side of Eternal Moon; he would absolutely not turn around and agree to the Breeding Spider Mother’s terms.

"Heh heh heh heh, then there’s nothing to be done. Come back when the day you figure it out arrives."

The Breeding Spider Mother’s body was too immense; precisely because of that, her will was thick and condensed, exuding a weight that left one with no way to break through.

"Wait!"

Green let out a roar, halting the Breeding Spider Mother who was about to leave, and said in a deep voice: "Release her, and you will gain the friendship of the great Wizard’s Will, and also..."

Green was just about to enumerate some of his tradeable resources when the Breeding Spider Mother suddenly burst into "hahahaha" laughter, as if his one line—"you will gain the great Wizard’s Will"—had made her laugh so hard her belly hurt.

Standing on the web, that vast, bloated body of the Breeding Spider Mother stirred waves upon waves across the World’s Veil with her laughter.

"Oblivion Sorcerer, your self-important bullshit has successfully made me laugh, hahaha. Gain the friendship of the great Wizard’s Will? Looks like although you’ve reached this level, you still haven’t truly experienced the gap between you and a Dominator. Heh heh heh heh, now you can take your bullshit Wizard friendship and get lost, heh heh hahaha..."

Under the Face of Truth, Green’s face turned completely overcast. His Three-Colored Light Eyes were shrouded by shadow. He didn’t utter a word, the oppressive silence terrifying, with only the laughter of the Breeding Spider Mother echoing about.

However, it was obvious that the Breeding Spider Mother also clearly sensed the formidable, peerless aura unleashed by Green’s Human Race transformation, and had no interest in wasting time and effort on a bout of battle.

Green’s last hope and patience had been completely devoured by the Breeding Spider Mother’s mocking laughter.

After quite a while, Green’s Ancestral True Body suddenly raised its head.

Huff, huff, huff...

Amidst his angry panting, Green roared.

"You dare trample on Wizard friendship like this! Insult the great Wizard’s Will! In my long years, I’ve only met one being who had the gall to do so, and now it has received the most brutal punishment from the Wizard’s Will! No one can insult the great Wizard’s Will—no one ever has! Huff, huff, huff... Since that’s the case, then come and taste the cruelty of the great Wizard’s Will!"

Green’s Ancestral True Body of the ancestor of humans roared to shake heaven and earth, and without another word, a rift in the Dimensional Gap flashed above his left hand. A strange sheet of paper appeared out of thin air.

Of course Green knew the gap between himself and the Endless Dominators!

At this moment, Green could only temporarily contend with a true Dominator during his self-seal eruption. However, against a Dominator possessing an Omnipotent Soul, the Dominator was innately standing in an invincible position; the Omnipotent Soul granted the Dominator unlimited damage resistance.

Green, on the other hand, could only link his life with the life-equivalence rules of the light of equilibrium law, passively guaranteeing his own unbeaten ground.

Unless it was some savage lunatic like Aibadang, or during a civilization war tied to the survival of a race, no one would go for a mutual-destruction fight like this.

The Runes on the Page of Destiny were identical to the Source Rule Runes outside every world in Green’s worldview, yet at this moment in the palm of his Ancestral True Body they seemed like a single grain of fine sand, utterly insignificant.

It seemed that its existence in the Material World, apart from its basic Magic Guide function, had no particular effect.

With a "woo" sound, the words on the Page of Destiny in Green’s hand faded with a bizarre gust of wind. What remained in Green’s hand was only a blank sheet, looking completely devoid of any effect. Even the Breeding Spider Mother was momentarily stunned, having thought Green would unleash some earth-shattering assault.

Though he knew perfectly well that the fate-curse, according to Xiao Ba, would only take effect hundreds or even thousands of years later, manifested through the manipulations of destiny, seeing his supposedly trump-card punishment taken out in a fury yet showing no effect at all still left his mood gloomy and crestfallen.

Swoosh...

A gigantic white web that blotted out the sky came down to envelop Green.

"Heh heh heh heh, in that case, come here. If I can eat you, I’ll be able to birth another ten billion children."

Crackle, snap!

The Arc of Oblivion burned a huge hole through the great web. Green used Elemental Teleport to escape. A Stone of Original Sin wrapped in Grim Power gradually changed, and on the massive physique of Green’s Ancestral True Body, lines of ancient Runes spread out.

"Original Sin Breakthrough!"

Empowered by Original Sin Breakthrough, the tip of Green’s extreme abyss magic staff transformed a several-thousand-meter iceberg into a Giant Hammer, stirring icy tides through the void as it smashed forward toward the Breeding Spider Mother, unstoppable.

However, when that terrifying Venom Spider Legion in their billions surged forth—a mere retinue of one of the Breeding Spider Mother’s spider legs—the suffocating oppression made one despair. With a "boom", swathes of freezing frost exploded and scattered.

"Dissimilation Field!"

Wielding the Yin-Yang Dichotomy Lantern in the ancestor of humans’ hand, the flame coiling around the wick of this Shadow Alteration Lantern burned fiercely, instantly clearing the area around the somewhat battered Green.

At this moment, Green could already clearly sense the power of Dominator rules.

Unlike most Dominators who draw Strength from their subordinate legions, this Breeding Spider Mother could grant Strength to her Venom Spider Legion, empowering the Venom Spiders!
