Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

Chapter 1177: Just Right

Lin Mo's divine thought swept over the space ring, inside was ten thousand Extreme Spirit Stones, along with various materials and treasures, worth about another ten thousand Extreme Spirit Stones, totaling a full twenty thousand Extreme Spirit Stones.

"Camper has been doing quite well these years, to have amassed such wealth." Lin Mo was secretly astonished, but this astonishment was relative; after all, some minor sects only have a wealth of several ten thousand Extreme Spirit Stones.

That Camper could suddenly bring out twenty thousand Extreme stones clearly showed that while holding a position at the Mercenary Guild, he had also pocketed quite a bit on the side.

"Master Lin, what do you think?" Sidora asked.

"Pretty generous, tell Feili that tomorrow I will definitely attend the banquet." Lin Mo smiled.

Sidora's face bloomed with a brilliant smile, then immediately stood up and said, "Then we will await your presence tomorrow, Master Lin."

With that, Sidora turned around and walked along a secluded path in the garden.

"Feigning weakness to the enemy? Camper."

Lin Mo toyed with the Ice and Snow Ring, but his eyes flashed with a very cold light.

Three years ago, Camper dared to defy the Mercenary Guild's prohibition, making a move against the Golden Master to plunder treasures. Three years later, Camper rose from a small War Axe Mercenary Corps leader to the assistant to the Second Councilman of the War God Temple, perhaps due to some luck, but it was also closely related to his personal character.

Without a smart mind and ruthless methods, how could he sit in today's position.

"Offering me an apology with money, hoping I would spare him?" Lin Mo shook his head, "This Camper intends to set a trap banquet for me."

Snow City, the third floor of the Mercenary Guild, was where the War Gods of the War God Temple resided.

"Lord Feili, why have you come here so late?"

A Mercenary Guild employee, upon seeing Feili hurrying in, immediately put on a sycophantic smile.

"Is Lord Jins in the office?" Feili asked solemnly.

"Lord Jins is still in the office, would you like me to take you there, Lord Feili?"

"No need."

Feili headed straight for the stairwell and upon reaching the third layer, faced a water curtain-like ripple barrier, he took out a hexagonal stone tablet and placed it into the rippling water curtain, causing it to ripple and then disappear.

Feili proceeded down the hallway on the third layer and stopped at an office door, "Lord Jins, it is Feili."

"Come in."

Pushing the door open, a tall man, dressed in a suit and holding a cigar, sat on the sofa with two voluptuous women beside him.

"Feili, coming to see me so late, you must have something on your mind, yes?" Jins smiled, waving his hand to have the two seductive women leave the office and close the door.

"Lord Jins, it is about Mickey and Lin."

Feili said with a touch of respect.

"Thunder God Mickey, being punched away by that Huaxia youth at Adam Vite's banquet, yes?"

Jins lifted his head, his gaze concentrating on Feili, he asked.

"Your intelligence is sharp, Lord, to have already known such details." Feili smiled subtly, complimenting him.

Within the War God Temple, though all ten War Gods might appear united as one, they actually possessed their personal interests, with each having informants around others.

"That youth named Lin is strong, even I could not punch Mickey away with a single blow." Jins spoke with a frown, a serious expression emerging on his face.

"That Mickey is arrogant, he didn't even take Lin seriously, which is why he suffered at Lin's hands," Feili explained.

Jins' face relaxed slightly, nodding with a smile, "True, otherwise that Lin's power would be frightening, comparable to a Councilman."

"Feili, you didn't come to me so late just for this small matter, did you?"

Jins' gaze had a depth to it, as he continued asking.

Feili bent forward and said, "Lord Jins, this concerns the Fourth Life Forbidden Zone; that Lin indeed came out from the Fourth Life Forbidden Zone."

Listening to Feili's words, Jin's expression changed instantly, excitedly asking, "Are you certain?"

"I am certain, because at the time I was leading my team on an adventure on the Ice Plateau, and we encountered him and his men. No one expected him to dare to violate the Mercenary Guild's regulations, coveting the treasure on me and attacked. Luckily, a horde of fierce beasts attacked at the time, so Lin couldn't kill me. Instead, I saw him fall into the Seven-Colored Ice Cave with my own eyes."

Feili carefully recounted.

Jins cast a meaningful glance at Feili, evidently not fully trusting his words, as fights on the Ice Plateau were common and usually overlooked by the Mercenary Guild, but it wasn't important.

"If he really came out from the Fourth Region, considering his strength, it might actually be possible. Did you tell my brother about this?" Jins asked.

"Lord Hurricane is still handling affairs in Moscow, and I haven't had the chance yet to inform him; I originally thought Lin would never appear again."

Feili responded respectfully.

A sinister smile curved at Jins' lips, "No wonder he's interested in buying an Ice Pearl, turns out he really emerged from the Fourth Region, perhaps he does possess treasures."

"Lord Jins, I've invited him to tomorrow's banquet," Feili added.

"Good, I will also return tomorrow."

"Alright, Lord Jins, I shall take my leave now and not disturb your rest."

With that, Feili bowed and slowly exited the office, only turning away to leave in brisk steps.

"Feili, you are indeed sly, wanting me to help you deal with your adversary, but... the treasures of the Fourth Region, I must obtain."

Jins slightly squinted his eyes, clenching his fist tightly, a burst of flames igniting with a heat from nowhere in his palm.

Upon returning to his villa and removing his coat, Feili grabbed a bottle of cherished red wine from the wine cabinet, pouring two glasses. He handed one to Sidora, "Sidora, did you say Lin accepted my gift and promised to attend tomorrow's banquet?"

"Yes, he agreed in person, seeing Lord Feili's appearance, seems like Lord Jins has been settled as well?" Sidora's red lips pressed against the wine glass, reflecting an alluring sheen.

"Jins and the members of the War God Temple have always been exploring the Fourth Region. Lin has emerged from the Fourth Region, surely Jins and his group won't let him go. Now it's just watching their clash, but would Lin accept the gift? Doesn't he really want to kill me anymore?"

Feili furrowed his brow, contemplating.

"Lord Feili, you are now the aide of the Hurricane Councilman, so even if he wants to kill you, he wouldn't dare act in Snow City," Sidora laughed, saying.

"Indeed, to kill me he would need me out of Snow City, otherwise he would be provoking Councilman Hurricane, and challenging the whole War God Temple."

Feili was in a good mood, he raised his head and drank half the wine in his glass.

The next day, it was still snowy weather, but there were strands of sunlight shining on the snow, reflecting a dazzling bright light.

Two figures walked side by side along a street, leaving two sets of footprints behind them.

"Master, is that Feili really Camper?" Yingzi clenched her white fists, biting her small silver teeth with hatred.

"One's appearance can change, but the soul can't be altered," Lin Mo said calmly.

Of course, if like Lin Mo, having obtained the Demon Cold Flame, one might change the quality of the soul, but who in the world could obtain such a treasure, Lin Mo confirmed last night's banquet indeed revealed Feili was Camper.
