Chapter 1123: Humanoid Catastrophe Weapon

Besides hurricanes, Jeana can also summon large tornadoes, or even groups of tornadoes.

Unfortunately, the power may have limited effect on similarly strong opponents, but the destruction and range are immense. To those weaker, it's simply a lethal group weapon.

"I have a new ability of weather guidance too. I can direct various weather changes, like clear days, rainy days, or snowy weather, and sandstorms — if the weather exists, I can guide it."

Zhao Guang's eyes brightened: "Marvelous, marvelous. You're now a weather controller."

Zhao Guang already envisioned Jeana's greatest utility; precisely what his vast land requires for guidance. Combined with the power of the Magic Net, the role Jeana could play is tremendous.

This role is simply strategic. Even against enemies, guiding disaster weather long-term shows significant results.

Imagine the opposing country, constantly under drought or torrential rain modes.

Over time, this nation would face grave problems. Even against the Sea Clan, as long as they don't leave their location, you can conduct underwater disaster guidance.

Not to mention other things, just the constant churn of seawater could put many biological entities in the face of mass extinction.

"So are there other abilities?" This power isn't suited for combat but brings great surprises.

Jeana nodded and then said: "There is also Catastrophe Perception and Catastrophe Induction."

After Jeana's explanation, Zhao Guang and Sephidya understood what this ability is. Similar to the literal meaning, Catastrophe Perception is Jeana sensing the aura of catastrophes.

This perception was once exclusive to Druids, who could sense certain natural disasters.

However, the direction between the two is different; Jeana senses through the elemental system, which includes large-scale catastrophes.

When perceiving catastrophes, Jeana can guide others to avoid them, or actively induce them. After a period of guidance, the catastrophe can directly erupt.

Even if her power grows stronger, she can induce catastrophes without a fitting environment.

Imagine large earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or hail — such terrifying disasters.

Once induced, they're at a strategic level. They may not affect powerful beings much, but most people in a nation aren't powerful. Moreover, the strong require a foundation for cultivation.

With such worsening tags, the ultimate outcome is predictable.

"Then if disasters occur, can they be guided and eliminated?"

Jeana closed her eyes for a moment, then shook her head: "No way, my ability is only perception and induction, not dispersal. I can't do that. However, there's no catastrophe signal in our kingdom recently."

Zhao Guang nodded: "In some cases, inducing them early can also reduce damage."

Indeed, various catastrophes need energy accumulation.

Inducing an earthquake early, originally an eight-grade one could end as multiple small shocks in grades four or five. Consider such power; the overall impact is minimal.

Volcanic eruptions and other disasters are similar, and early induction significantly weakens the power.

Likewise, Jeana can guide this force to accumulate rapidly, leading to greatly enhanced power.

This is the proper way to use the Catastrophe Induction ability. Yet this ability is truly terrifying.

"Remember, you absolutely cannot tell others about your abilities."

Jeana seemed puzzled; Zhao Guang immediately said: "You're now a human-shaped catastrophe weapon, more terrifying than a strategic weapon. With you around, other countries are threatened, even natural disaster eruptions might be thought to be your doing, especially by those hostile to us."

This thought is very common, or rather, those in higher positions would surely think this way.

"Once your abilities are exposed, many will come to deal with you."

Sephidya said: "In the past, such catastrophe abilities were held by few in temples, mainly for perception or guiding specific disasters."

"If your abilities are exposed, temple members will surely come to you, with motives uncertain, and the divine they believe in unclear."

Sephidya's memory contained much about this.

Though to giant dragons, most catastrophes hardly affect them.

However, divine beings highly value these because they impact their belief system. That's why dragons have some focus on these abilities, otherwise Sephidya would not necessarily know.

Since temples highly value them, such abilities must be strictly confidential.

"I understand, I won't tell others and will use them secretly when needed."

Jeana has made breakthroughs, so her previously managed affairs can now be handed off. Her erstwhile responsibilities weren't particularly troublesome and are even less so now.

Many can replace her; why hold on stubbornly?

Instead, Xi Fei and Sephidya's matters are hard for others to replace.

"Then, have you any other abilities?" Zhao Guang asked with little hope.

This time, Jeana has gained many abilities at once. Before breakthroughs, aside from learned spells, she had hardly any innate abilities — no reason for so many to appear suddenly.

Yet Zhao Guang was surprised; Jeana nodded: "There are indeed two more wartime abilities, Storm Blessing and the Child of War."

Indeed, wartime abilities; a priest's forte.

Those prior abilities were either personal combat or strategic weapons, while wartime abilities were overlooked.

True to the Storm Priest nature, after breaking through, the skill enhancements are comprehensive. Other priests might be similar, even if not as exaggerated, yet definite competent performances.

"Storm Blessing? To enhance storm spells?" Sephidya asked curiously.

"Not at all, it's for army enhancement, considered as Support Magic." Jeana didn't expect to gain a Support Magic, knowing she learned several of that type already.

If this spell's effect isn't strong enough, there's really not much to look forward to.
