Meteor Fall Master in the 'Starry Abyss'

Chapter 79: A Gift for Glina (Part 1)

In recent years, Glina Swirl's days have not been particularly good.

Every day, aside from the suffocating life of luxury, she is surrounded by various Elite Clan nobles. Burdened by immense wealth, she often finds herself trapped in boredom and frustration, resorting to wandering around scenic spots for reluctant amusement.

Luckily, Glina is kind-hearted, spreading wealth everywhere she goes, coupled with her beautiful appearance, she manages to stimulate local market economy wherever she goes. Even at this level of Versailles, Glina's popularity never wanes.

Yet beneath the wealthy life, no one understands her bitterness:

In the Layer Abyss, there are things she cannot buy with money.

"That Baizhu Star's Leoz, well, that's the treasure I want most now, Elyssia Delaware."

After showering, spreading her platinum hair, Glina lay on the sofa, swiping her terminal, complaining to her best friend with dissatisfaction:

"Over the years, I've always had people send him messages, asking him to come and meet me. Every time, the Baizhu Star government makes excuses—not that the President is missing, or is engaged in battle. Do they really think: a dignified President would go to some backwater corner to forge metal for five or six years—can such an excuse deceive me?"

"That's hard to say, my little Princess."

Elyssia Delaware, holding a custom drink with one hand in the projection, laughed gently.

Elyssia is a typical high-level Demon, appearing very young, only sixteen or seventeen, her crimson skin and molten gold eyes unmistakably indicating her identity as Purgatory Nobility.

Contrasting with Glina's skimpy attire, the younger Elyssia is dressed very elegantly and properly, her creamy white hair pinned up, appearing more grand and mature. Her exquisite black-and-white lace gown has a revealing neckline, truly exemplifying what bearing fruit in style means.

At that moment, between naturally youthful Glina and dignified voluptuous Elyssia, it was challenging to discern which was truly the Princess.

"Our family belongs to the Capitalist Narrative, where did Princess come from? You, the true Purgatory Princess, wouldn't dare speak of others." Glina pouted, swinging her legs back and forth, discontentedly ranting:

"Even if I wanted to be a Princess, my mother wouldn't allow it."

"His Excellency Redd Gold would surely be heartbroken, He took such a long time replacing the entire Monarch dynasty with Capitalist Narrative, Yet as His biological daughter, you're thinking of reverting back." Elyssia laughed.

Glina remained indifferent, showing a trace of disdain when mentioning Redd Gold:

"That old fart hasn't shown up in hundreds of years; who knows if He's still alive? Besides, what does such a massive business conglomerate have to do with me? I don't know business. I just want to live a happy, carefree, ordinary life, but He keeps pondering that 'Eternity' or 'Immortality'—utterly dull."

Glina huffed:

"Mentioning this angers me, that crazy old hag never replies no matter how I rant; it's been four hundred years, at least four hundred years, She hasn't bothered with world affairs, dumped the little Stitched Monster on me, then disappeared, relying entirely on the company's staff for support. Others know our Narrative Civilization has a Chief God, but they don't know this irresponsible boss hasn't been home for four hundred years."

"Don't say that, after all, your mother is one of few Chief Gods to survive the War Beyond the Abyss against Society and the Destroyer. She must be cautious."

"Who suffers post-traumatic stress for thousands of years?" Glina sighed: "She simply doesn't want to shoulder the responsibility of a Chief God."

"It seems like your conflict with your mother still hasn't eased… Does this relate to your matrilineal kin?"

"Are you talking about that Sea Elf? Just a Merfolk, I've never met her; supposedly, mother only used her gene to create me—though curiously, despite countless descendants of Redd's deity, I'm the sole progeny produced with that Merfolk's gene."

Glina's words immediately captured Elyssia's interest.

"That's really rare… I didn't expect a Chief God to have such a pure love side."

"When He was young, it was uncertain whether He was male or female. However, according to the corporation records, from the moment that crazy hag arrived in Starry Abyss, She's maintained the image of a platinum-haired Dragon Lady."

"Isn't it absurd to discuss Gender for such a powerful being? Like programmers fantasizing about whether the god of code writes with green switches or brown switches, or an Emperor farming with a gold hoe or a silver hoe."

Elyssia chuckled:

"Alright, let's not talk about this anymore. Since that Leoz you can't earn, how about playing with me?"

"You? Purgatory Princess, what fun do you have?" Glina asked curiously.

"Not exactly fun, but worth a visit."

Elyssia sat upright, this dignified Purgatory Princess truly exemplified what genuine a demonic figure means; even small movements triggered full-body shivers, making eyes dazzle. By contrast, Glina showcased an angelic face, that pure beauty. It's pure yet always manages to stir desires deep in people's hearts.

"You know, Outer Realm's Perjalai counts as the ancestor of us Purgatory Demons. Even now, the Outer Realm maintains good relations with us—of course, it doesn't mean we're traitors to Starry Abyss."

"That's nothing." Glina lounged, "Narrative must leave its own path out otherwise continue listening to Primordial Abyss's first Narrative these Social Elite would have willing to coexist—of course, this is for long-term sustainable development."

"Naturally." Elyssia nodded: "There're numerous Senators in the Outer Realm, every new layer in the Endless Abyss becomes a leader as a Senator. Our family lucked out, got in with Senator Brad, learned something interesting from them."

"If you're talking about secrets, I'm tired of hearing them since childhood."

Glina said blandly:

"That old woman from my family has deep associations with secrets, a few hundred years ago, she even spoke with the Emperor for a bit. Don't know if She got angered or what, they parted sourly, the Emperor even killed her two Silver Dragon Guards as a warning."

"What I'm saying truly relates to secrets, but more accurately, it's Earth."

Elyssia laughed:

"Senator Brad asked me: Do you wish to take a stroll in Los Angeles?"

"Los Angeles?"

Glina raised her eyebrows:

"Is this an Earth city? Did you break through Earth's passageways? Did the Secret just watch Outer Realm invade Earth like this?"

"No no no, strictly speaking, we're not going to the Earth identified as the Ether Civilization origin."

Elyssia carefully stated:

"According to Senator Brad's explanation: The Earth as the origin of Ether Civilization, unified by Queen Victoria XXI in the year 2300. The Atlantic Empire and the Pacific Federation announced reconciliation, forming the Earth Union Government—this is the timeline we recognized as the so-called Earth's Primary Universe."

"The Ether Civilization originated from Earth Union's colonial expansion process—unknown why, the Ether Civilization deviated from its established route, eventually arriving at the Dominating Universe controlled by Dictator Leoz, transforming into Secret Society Gaia."

"Where we're going, actually, is merely one non-official timeline; consider it as the outcome of a certain possibility extrapolation. It won't affect or interfere with history."

"Interesting." Glina's eyes sparkled, she said: "What place is that? What era."

"Currently, Spacetime isn't stable, but we can confirm that it's a location devoid of any Secret Society Citizens. Even if destroyed, it'll have no impact. Though—it's Outer Realm's asset, we best refrain from touching it. As for the era background…"

Elyssia said:

"Year 1961, during President John F. Kennedy's term, Los Angeles City in California."

"Additional things I'm uncertain of, but Senator Brad told me one thing:"

"'At least in this realm, we've finally defeated Earthlings once.'"
