Mass Abyss once had four Narrative Civilizations.
Mass Abyss is the most promising and the environment is the best Starry Abyss. During the War Beyond the Abyss, the number of God Embracers selected to support the frontline here was the highest. Coupled with the inherent environmental advantages (the potential of species born in Mass Abyss is fully liberated, requiring no further submergence, just steady cultivation to reach the peak).
Training Omega (24) level is as easy as eating and drinking.
Although the four Narrative Civilizations here may not be as good as the Unity of the Border Abyss, everyone once served the Primordial Abyss before, and after death, they all enter the Nether Abyss. Though there were contradictions and frictions, there was more cooperation and communication.
But with the defeat in the War Beyond the Abyss, and after the 2nd and 3rd Narratives were expelled or left, the situation became different.
Just from their names, "Darkstream Settlement" and "Immortal Royal Court," these two Narrative Civilizations are like hot-tempered individuals who often start fights.
They produce the highest quality God Embracers.
While the 4th Narrative "Beautiful World" and the 5th Narrative "Eternal Corridor" are both development-type civilizations, during the War Beyond the Abyss, their primary task was to provide logistics and injury handling for the Soul of Plunder.
The narrative of the Settlement is named—Isolationism, because the Settlement itself is the most powerful narrative under the Primordial Abyss, independent and closed off, not interfering with the outside world, nor do they want to be disturbed by the outside world.
The narrative of the Royal Court adopts—Existentialism. They admire the God of the Present World, Leoz, and have a poor relationship with the Void, with the Settlement being isolated, so the Royal Court often held a leading position in Mass Abyss.
And as for the 4th and 5th...
The world advocates the narrative of—Pacifism.
The Corridor observes the narrative of—Humanism.
These two are obviously not able to fight well, so when the Divine Clan Warriors arrived, the two major narratives quickly gave up resistance.
It's not because they couldn't fight back, but because before they could prepare for a struggle or resistance, their brothers from the Upper Starry Abyss descended!
Narrative Civilizations from Layer Abyss, Border Abyss, and the Void came into contact with the Pathway and began to embrace their True God.
What's the quickest and easiest way to become a god?
The answer is: Take what's already there!
Brothers from the top three layers of the Starry Abyss, may not sincerely want to help the Narrative Civilizations, but with so many Divine Clan Warriors in Mass Abyss, if they don't seize the opportunity now, are they going to let other narrative brothers take it for free?
The intention was bad, but the result was good.
To compete for godhood, people slaughtered each other, inadvertently helping the 4th and 5th Narrative Civilizations out of trouble.
But just because the result was good doesn't mean peace has arrived.
After this turmoil, it has thoroughly turned into a stimulating battlefield, a battle royale, with Evil Gods, defeated soldiers of the Divine Clan, Hermits, God Embracers, God Slayers, and Society all battling violently against each other. The originally prosperous and harmonious Mass Abyss has become hell on Earth.
The Nether Abyss, which originally corresponded to Earth's myths of the underworld, has become more harmonious than Mass Abyss; it's quite the hellish joke.
Yachi momentarily lost focus, coming back to his senses as Chieftain Sodolegoras finished praying and turned to look at them.
"Welcome back, you wanderers scattered outside."
Sodolegoras did not use Divine Power to resonate but spoke gently in Dragon Language.
Matriarch Cecilia, seeing the chieftain's appearance, slightly nodded and said, "Your appearance... is quite distinctive."
Sodolegoras studied the Silver Dragon and said, "Oh, Cecilia, I remember you. You are the second daughter of Alvireon. He was once the best teacher on Dragon Island, but unfortunately, he and his wife chose to develop in Layer Abyss."
"Hello, old chieftain."
Oprelli of the Western Demons, no longer as reckless as before, respectfully saluted:
"It is our honor to serve the tribe."
Facing this truly young genius, Sodolegoras was very friendly:
"Welcome! Young Oprelli, I've heard you're the Empire's shining star of tomorrow. Among your peers, only Director Qinlan Jiuge can rival you."
Upon hearing this, Oprelli squared his shoulders and proudly said:
"You're mistaken about that, Qinlan Jiuge has long indulged in pleasures, no longer able to compare to me."
"Good, good, good!"
Sodolegoras nodded with satisfaction:
"Even if the Empire is strong, it still needs the young people of our Dragon Race to uphold its reputation!"
"Sodore."
Midnight Lord Naija spoke calmly:
"This is the third time."
"Naija..." Sodolegoras hung his head in shame: "Sorry, the Dragon Race still needs you, you are our assurance of victory."
"Do you understand the situation in Layer Abyss now? Do you know someone named Li Aozi?"
"Li Aozi? I've never heard of a strong person with that name. Did something happen?"
"No, just a somewhat interesting fellow, might not be a young man either... forget it, we'll discuss it later."
The exchange between Naija and the old chieftain was very brief, their relationship already very familiar, not much difference in generations, even forgoing honorifics.
Finally, everyone's eyes settled on the Golden Dragon Monk, Yachi.
"Yachi Dukin Monson."
With a gentle gaze, the old chieftain said:
"You are known for your good deeds and bravery across two Abysses. Now you're standing up for the tribe; you are a true warrior. On behalf of the entire Dragon Race, I thank you for joining us."
"You're too kind!" As the old dragon was about to salute, Yachi was startled, "I'm just an ordinary practitioner, not that capable."
"Indeed, it's just killing an Evil God Vivace once, after all."
"Enough with the humility, better discuss the real business instead - Sodore, what are you planning next? A boot camp? Or like in past years, to train in the Void occupied zone?"
"Wait, why are we going to the Void?" Oprelli was puzzled, "Who's heard of a contest requiring descent to the Starry Abyss?"
"It's your first return to the tribe, so it's normal not to know."
Naija retorted unceremoniously:
"The Alliance's species ranking tournament is not like children's games, 1-on-1 or turn-based arenas, but a grand melee. You're given a designated area where you must eliminate opponents and seize indicators; the more the indicators, the higher the points, of course, you can also snatch others' indicators, as only the final score counts."
"Sounds a bit troublesome, but you only need to keep two points in mind:"
"First, eliminate all opponents, second, don't all die."
"Unlike Layer Abyss, many technologies are unusable in Border Abyss, so the Alliance's rules are simple and brutal, providing enough death quotas. As long as your team's final number of surviving members exceeds two, you can be considered to advance."
By this point, everyone present had caught on.
"Doesn't that mean..."
Yachi stated gravely:
"Our Dragon Race, with its scarce numbers, would be targeted for concentrated hunting."
