The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!

Chapter 318: Bountiful Miracle

The so-called emergency resource management is not about getting ready to eat by first heating a bowl, nor is it about starting to fix the latrine when you need to take a dump. It's about utilizing limited resources to first solve the immediate problem.

Right now, Luo Yan is about to do just that.

He is going to show his followers the miracles from the Demon King—or rather, what they perceive as the miracles of the 'Holy King'.

In the outskirts of Assam City, near the Holy Lake.

This land, watered by the blood of countless Lizardmen, used to be the most fertile granary of the Holy Armor Dragon Kingdom but now has turned into a desolate ruin that evokes sighs.

The once lush cornfields are long gone, with stalks of corn in their end lying skewed and twisted on the ground, while the paths among the fields are crisscrossed with unhealable cracks, resembling scars that cannot heal.

The broken water channels are piled with messy stones and earth, the entire land looking like a piece of necrotic flesh, particularly desolate, with only weeds showing signs of robust life.

And right next to this desolate land stands about two hundred people.

Among them are some Lizardmen, and some whose faces are not visible under long robes, but the pointed ears peeking from beneath their hoods betray their extraordinary identities.

"Lord Demon King, this is the farming land around the outskirts of Assam City, the least affected and the most fertile, definitely over 200,000 mu... Does this place look fine to you?"

Gazing at the Demon King standing beside him, Zel's expression showed slight embarrassment, fearing the former misunderstood his incompetence, he hastily added this line, clarifying that he absolutely did not intend to deal with things in a shabby manner by presenting the poorest land.

However, Luo Yan didn't mind at all, and asked blandly.

"Whom does this land belong to?"

Zel was momentarily stunned, then immediately replied.

"Before, this was the property of the Par Family, and now it's naturally yours."

Luo Yan nodded lightly.

He didn't need the land, but it could be leased to the Players who are interested in farming and have contributed to the Great Graveyard.

With a clear mind, Luo Yan gestured with his hand and succinctly ordered.

"Light it up."

At the moment his words fell, nearly a hundred mages clad in cloaks lifted their magic wands, chanting incomprehensible words.

They were all from the depths of the Great Tomb——Dark Night Elves of the Gray Wind Tribe. In terms of controlling the Elemental Power, they far surpassed the general combat units in the Imperial Mage Corps!

The surging fire elements converged in the air into sparks, forming a resonance of elements. Then, these converging flames fell like raindrops from the sky, scattering onto the skewed corn stalks.

"Buzz——"

With a brief light sound, the gently burning flames rolled like a tide spreading along the ground, sweeping away all the withered yellow, turning them into ashes that nourish life.

Zel was astonished at the scene unfolding before his eyes, unable to speak for a moment with his mouth agape.

Equally, Aisemata, who hadn't spoken a word all along, was deeply shocked by the spectacle.

In reality, they didn't know that compared to the rocket shells used in the Great Graveyard's conquest of Assam City, this harmless rain of fire was nothing to be seen on the Aus Continent.

And with the conclusion lifted, they too would have the opportunity to cast such magic in the future.

As long as they were devout enough.

The Dark Night Elves who completed the casting retracted their magic wands, each taking out a vial of blue potion from their bosoms, uncorking and downing it in one gulp.

Helen, cloaked, walked to Luo Yan's back, bowed her head respectfully in salute.

"Lord Demon King, the weeds in the field have been cleared, should we proceed to the next step?"

Luo Yan slightly nodded.

"Begin."

"Yes!"

Receiving the command, Helen turned back among her clansmen, giving orders to the clan members to prepare for meditation for the next casting while signaling that the Life Professional Players who received tasks could start.

Very soon, a rumbling noise came from afar, and dozens of tractors spewing white smoke began to enter the scene.

Present Lizardmen were instinctively attracted by the thunder-like noise, but soon everyone was startled by the bizarre shapes of those iron beasts.

Their shapes were square and heavy, with front wheels that they could understand, but the metal belt at the back like a shield left them baffled.

"What is... that thing?" The chieftain of the Fiery Sun Tribe exclaimed in surprise.

Siya didn't speak, for she had seen similar things in the Demon King Army, just didn't expect these could not only appear on the battlefield, but serve as farm tools when dismantled of armor?

What she didn't know was, this thing was not a tank dismantled of its armor... though the engine and chassis used were quite similar to both.

"This is called a tractor, you'll end up liking it." Luo Yan casually replied, then turned his gaze to those Player tractor operators, smiling without further explanation.

Soon, under the amazed and bewildered gaze of the Lizardmen, several Players driving tractors equipped with shovels ventured first into the clogged and blocked irrigation channels.

The steel beasts let out a muffled roar, and the sturdy shovel easily uprooted the messy piles of stones, silt, and dried wood.

The clogged rocky canals were instantly cleared!

Elsewhere nearby, another tractor busily tended the fields' ridges, dragging the large plow to flatten the broken and collapsed embankments, turning the clodden land into a soft texture and mixing the scorched botanical ash into the soft soil.
