Chapter 673: The Holy Domain Shall Not Be Defiled! (Part 2)

After a brief discussion, Sonia and Diya launched, controlling twenty ghostly black spheres to crash into the three teams!

Though the three teams were attacking the ghostly black spheres, they were also keeping an eye on the surroundings. Seeing the spheres densely approaching, they promptly scattered and dodged. Those who excelled in flying techniques, particularly the Holy Domain, could even weave back and forth between the spheres with elegance akin to dancing butterflies.

However, these spheres could turn!

Sonia and Diya clenched their fingers, and the twenty spheres eerily changed direction in mid-air, as if rebounding off an invisible wall, their kinetic energy pouring relentlessly toward one single target—

The Blood Moon team!

Indeed, they didn't intend to deal with all three teams, in fact, dealing with even one team was tough. Holy Sanctuary Mages aren't fools, and Holy Domain ensures they're not easily killed. Even if they can control twenty ghostly black spheres, causing efficient damage is challenging.

So their goal was to severely cripple one team, causing a power imbalance!

With two strong and one weak left standing, mere conspiracies and calculations could lead to significant internal friction. If they could push further and make them suspect each other about who had mastered Ghost Legacy, Sonia and Diya wouldn't even need to lift a finger; the teams would fight among themselves.

As for why they chose the Blood Moon team, they simply picked the team with the most dazzling Miracle effects—target the team with the most effects!

Seeing their team suddenly surrounded and crushed by twenty spheres, with no room to dodge, Baiyu and other Blood Moon Holy Domains remained unflustered.

Their forms flickered as they swiftly transformed into small bats and wolves. The bats turned into blood shadows flying rapidly, while the wolves jumped and turned into moonlight teleportations, managing to escape through gaps before the spheres enveloped them!

Many mages from other nations were also witnessing the Blood Saint Clan and Moon Shadow Clan for the first time—these clans, optimized and transformed continuously by the Extreme Master of Blood Moon, naturally possessed unique advantages.

In the Sea of Knowledge, the Blood Saints as bats could fly across the ocean; on the Time Continent, the Moon Shadows as wolves could disguise as Void Realm creatures to traverse the continent; reaching the Holy Domain stage, Blood Saint bats and Moon Shadow wolves could briefly transform into blood and light, able to evade damage swiftly and even extend many exclusive Miracles!

Sonia and Diya were also witnessing the Blood Saint Moon Shadow for the first time, naturally not expecting this maneuver. Even if they swiftly targeted the adjacent Curse Elf, it was impossible to form a circle of encirclement—not because the ghostly black spheres couldn't, but because they couldn't.

Their method of controlling the spheres was extremely crude, akin to selecting all spheres and shooting them at the same target. Yet in the Ghost Prophet's design, mages reaching the 95th stage should at least handle six tasks simultaneously, ten spheres coordinating enough to make invaders wish they were dead.

However, the progress of the Sword Witch duo had only just passed stage 50, and they cooperated as a team. Even when facing stages requiring precise operations, Ash Weiser typically handled them—and they weren't present!

Diya could adapt better, able to replace the white queen and multitask thrice, while Sonia could barely manage two tasks at once. In this situation, although the sphere offensive seemed grand and aggressively biting, it was mostly terrifying rather than truly deadly.

On the other side, Baiyu and others realized the spheres were being controlled.

The Three-winged Curse scudded deftly and narrowly dodged sphere impacts time and again, displaying an elegance as if moving at a ball. Her lips lightly moved, the voice spread throughout Dream Heaven: "Devil, Angel?"

"Impossible!" Baiyu replied confidently, "If it were an Angel Devil transformed by Ghost Prophet, its operation level would exceed this! Even with Ghost Prophet's lingering will, it could easily turn this place into a graveyard!"

"Ghost Prophet never had the chance to become Angel Devil." Evil Omen said briskly, "Before leaving, the Divine Lord informed us, Ghost Prophet's death was closely watched by many; he could leave a legacy as the limit, the Mage's Handbook was long divided and torn, no Demigod or Divine Lord wanted him to continue living—no matter in what form."

"A Prophetic Demigod, even a Divine Lord would be wary."

"So, these spheres are controlled by Holy Sanctuary Mages." Baiyu scanned other spheres in Dream Heaven: "Though clumsy in execution, they certainly can interfere with us. Unless we find the controller first, we can't continue to wreck the spheres..."

Boom!

As the three teams dodged the sphere pursuit, a sudden explosion resounded.

A Parasitic Mage in flight suddenly stalled in mid-air, then was simultaneously hit by multiple Miracles, finally crushed by three spheres. Had his Holy Domain completely shattered, his soul was severely damaged, returning directly to reality.

When Baiyu, the Three-winged Curse, and Evil Omen looked over, there was a large empty space surrounding the Parasitic Mage. The outer mages floated silently in mid-air, two thousand pairs of eyes silently watching them, these teams being chased by spheres.

A strong chill surged through Baiyu and others' hearts.

This was just the beginning; much more would follow.

Did Baiyu, representing the Divine Lord, wreck the Ghost Legacy and think ordinary Holy Domains had no opinions?

How could that be?

An event that promises a steady stream of activity and even large rewards was suddenly spoiled by them, and the grand prize would undoubtedly be snatched by them. The Holy Domains, even without harboring grievances, at least hoped the mage teams would swiftly meet their demise.
