Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel

Chapter 58: Return

"Your Majesty Lilith, could you explain what you mean by 'Creating God'?"

asked the Moon God Artemis.

Charlotte did not hold back and detailed her observations and experiences of the past three years to Artemis, especially concerning the "deities" created by the Sun Divine Palace, and various specific intelligence she had gathered through her observations over the years.

When she mentioned that these "deities" did not even have divine names, Artemis's expression completely changed.

It was a complex expression, containing shock, suspicion, regret, and anger.

Seeing such a complicated expression, Charlotte's heart stirred:

"Your Majesty Artemis, did something occur to you?"

Artemis's face did not look good.

After hesitating for a moment, she said:

"I... am not sure, perhaps... I need to go to the Northern Border and have a look, no, I must go there. If they truly are those lunatics, if... indeed 'He' has returned, then I must stop them."

Saying this, the Elf Clan's guardian looked at Charlotte with unprecedented seriousness:

"Your Majesty Lilith, have you found the hiding place of the so-called Sun Divine Palace?"

"Indeed."

Charlotte nodded.

"Could you inform me? There are matters... I need to go and confirm, in a sense, this is my responsibility, even the Elf Clan's duty."

Artemis said seriously.

The responsibility of the Elf Clan?

It seems... this so-called "Sun Divine Palace" truly is related to the Sun God Helios as Lilith said.

Charlotte pondered.

Thinking a bit, she exchanged a glance with the Sea King Oceanus, then said:

"Actually, my visit to Your Majesty Oceanus is just for this matter, the Sun Divine Palace has always been hostile to me, and our war with them is also nearing its end. At this critical juncture, I obtained some secret information that the Old Gods might soon have a plan for god wars against me..."

"Therefore, I want to seize the initiative, strike at their lair suddenly, and catch them off guard, hence seeking military support from Your Majesty Oceanus."

Saying this, Charlotte looked at Artemis:

"Your Majesty Artemis, are you inclined to go with me and aid in countering the Sun Divine Palace?"

Upon hearing Charlotte's words, Artemis's expression visibly stirred.

She thought for a moment, and asked:

"When do you plan to set out?"

"As soon as possible if I can, I don't want to give the Old Gods too much time to react, of course, it depends on when Your Majesty Oceanus will be available."

Charlotte replied.

Artemis looked at the Sea King Oceanus, while Oceanus instantly put on a smile:

"Available! Available! I'm always available! When shall we go? Can we leave now? I can't wait to pummel those fallen fools!"

Charlotte: ...

"Your Majesty Lilith, I am willing to assist you in this matter, no... I should say I wish to join you in hunting them, I agree as well that this matter should proceed as quickly as possible!"

Artemis said with a stern expression.

Charlotte's mood lifted, she said joyfully:

"That is wonderful, with the presence of two True Gods, I have nothing to worry about."

After speaking, she thought for a moment, then asked:

"By the way, Your Majesty Oceanus, Your Majesty Artemis, can you conceal your aura and shrink, or transform into other items for easy carrying?"

Oceanus's heart moved:

"You mean..."

Charlotte spread her hands:

"The one behind the Sun Divine Palace is also at the rank of True God, but should not be able to exert much power. However, the Sun Divine Palace controls many demigods, and that mysterious deity seems very sensitive to auras. If He finds out in advance that two True Gods will join the fight, perhaps... He'll abandon His original plan or even flee immediately."

"The Sun Divine Palace is targeting me, so... I wish both of you could thoroughly hide your identities, remain on me, and at the final moment, catch them off guard!"

After visiting the Sea King Hall, Charlotte returned to the Northern Border.

When she went to the North Sea, she went alone, and when she returned, she also returned alone.

However, when she left, she had two new ornaments with her.

One was a Moon Spirit Flower hairclip pinned in her hair, and the other was a crystal conch pendant hanging on her chest.

...

"Teacher, you're back!"

In the Free City State Alliance border fortress, seeing the crimson trail descending from the sky, Haral bowed respectfully.

As the Blood Divine Power dissipated, Charlotte also appeared.

Looking at the orderly fortress, she nodded and asked:

"How is the preparation?"

"All the troops stationed outside have returned to their respective fortresses, all fortresses and posts' protective arrays are fully charged, and furthermore... according to your latest Oracle, all the second-awakened third-generation Bloodline warriors you named have gathered at the border of the Alliance, ready to deploy at any time."

Haral said.

After saying this, he hesitated, his expression somewhat uncertain.

Charlotte glanced at him and smiled:

"If you have questions, just ask directly."

After a brief hesitation, Haral nodded respectfully and said:

"Teacher, indeed, I have a few questions..."

"Didn't you say the Sun Divine Palace might set traps, and plan to withdraw defensively fully? Why did you suddenly issue an Oracle two days ago to gather the vanguard troops for an attack?"

"And... why only select some third-generation Bloodline warriors? I examined it closely, those third-generation warriors you selected don't seem to be the strongest among those with second awakenings, some warriors with qualified strength were not chosen by you, yet some weaker ones were."

"Though those warriors who weren't selected don't speak out, they are quite disappointed. You've always been fair and just, this uncharacteristic decision truly confuses me, is there some inside story?"

"Though those Bloodline warriors you've chosen are strong enough, overall, it would still be difficult to assault the core Divine Palace of the Sun Divine Palace..."

"It's the same for you too, the remaining mythical power of the Sun Divine Palace is strong, and you..."

Haral's face showed concern.

Charlotte shook her head, saying:

"I understand your concerns but... rest assured, since I decided to change the plan, naturally, I have the respective confidence."

Haral's heart moved, he looked towards the North Sea direction:

"Do you mean to say, you... successfully found 'help'?"

Charlotte smiled without speaking.

Seeing her so composed, Haral vaguely guessed something, his expression softened, and he had a slightly excited and delighted look.

Charlotte looked at the Bloodline warriors training in the fortress, chuckled softly, and continued:

"As for the warriors I selected, you... will know why in the future."

In the future...

Could it be... those warriors specially selected by the teacher have some potential he is unaware of?

Haral pondered.

Seeing him deep in thought, Charlotte did not continue to explain.

There really wasn't much to explain.

The Bloodline warriors she chose to go with her to the core Divine Palace of the Sun Divine Palace had only one commonality: they were all destined to be Blood Princes in the afterlife or were famous within the Blood Clan's high ranks during the Blood Moon Era.

As Haral mentioned, diving deep into the Old Gods Alliance and infiltrating the core Divine Palace of the Sun Divine Palace was a temporary plan upon Charlotte's return, with significant risk.

These risks were not referring to Charlotte's own risks.

With two True Gods pressuring, combined with "historical inevitability," Charlotte did not worry about her safety.

The risks here actually referred to the safety of the participating Bloodline warriors.

Charlotte wouldn't go deep alone; mythical against mythical, yet beneath the myth could be mundane battles, and the impact of god wars on ordinary beings could be devastating. Only those Bloodline warriors selected by Charlotte wouldn't face life-and-death crisis.

After all... in history, they at least survived into the Blood Moon Era.

In a sense, Haral wasn't entirely wrong; those Bloodline warriors selected by Charlotte indeed held some "survival potential" into the next era.
