Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel

Chapter 142: Departure

Charlotte did not linger long in the New Moon Kingdom.

With truly stepping into the True God Rank and gradually realizing what she ultimately had to confront, she found many of her thoughts changed accordingly.

Things she once cared about no longer held her attention, and various development plans she had originally envisioned were also almost entirely left untouched.

The needs of a deity are different from those of a mortal.

Especially one who has reached the peak as a True God.

Charlotte really had no interest in ruling the continent, or rather, after becoming a True God, she hardly even interfered with the affairs of Falling Star, leaving almost everything to the Council, and at most steering in a general direction on ordinary days.

Therefore... the aftermath in the New Moon Kingdom was handed over to the Holy Royal Court.

In a sense, the Falling Star Nobles were so supportive of her not only because of her exposed identity as a True God but also crucially because she was willing to delegate power.

After resolving the threat she foresaw from the New Moon Kingdom, Charlotte returned to the Falling Star Red Palace.

She waved away the knights and maidservants and sat high on the throne, a flash of light in her hand revealed a semi-transparent soul body.

As soon as the soul body appeared, it started struggling, faintly revealing the visage of Louis V, whose expression shifted between fear and venomous malice when looking at Charlotte, as if possessing different personalities.

Seeing the almost identical mad gaze of the soul body to that of Sun God Helios, Charlotte's heart stirred slightly:

"Is it planning to return using Louis V's body…"

With a light snort, she applied slight force with her hand, and the constantly struggling soul body was thoroughly crushed.

A faintly discernible sun emblem emerged from the shattered soul, exuding Sun Divine Power that Charlotte was extremely familiar with; it flashed and vanished into the void, like a stream of light flying towards a certain direction.

Charlotte didn't stop it but instead injected her Divine Power imprint the moment the sun emblem appeared.

Consciousness following the sun emblem, Charlotte "saw" it traverse the void, instantly crossing more than half of the ocean, landing on the shattered West Continent.

She memorized those coordinates but did not act immediately, instead, she used the Blood Contract to summon all her Favored.

The time left for her was not much; before leaving, she had to give final instructions.

"True Ancestor Your Majesty (Great Lord)!"

Below the throne, numerous Blood Favored respectfully saluted.

Sebastian, Nisi, Werewolf Luf, and Black Dragon Odosia were among them, even the Guardian's Staff knowingly stood with them, bowing slightly to Charlotte in submission.

But this wasn't the end.

The light of the Blood Summon flickered, and soon, the leaders of various Bloodline Clans who had already sworn allegiance to Charlotte were summoned to the castle.

This included Legion Commander Badak and Duke Ron of the Nais Clan, Great Prophet Margo of the Harcos Clan, Pure White Witch Anxia of the Vadret Clan, Great Elder Drado of the Saleem Clan, and… under Charlotte's support, Albrecht who once again took control of the Shedite Clan.

"Greetings Ancestor Your Majesty (Savior Your Majesty)!"

Many of the Bloodlines also paid their respects.

Seeing the Favored below the throne salute her, Charlotte nodded secretly.

Apart from Castel and the nobles of Falling Star, almost all core members loyal to "True Ancestor Charlotte" were present now.

Except for Black Cat Nisi and Werewolf Luf, almost all others present were Legendary beings.

Any force seeing this scene would probably shudder… for no other reason but that even excluding Charlotte's unparalleled True God Position, her Favored and the forces they represented were already enough to sweep across the world.

In the hall, the sound of a pin drop could be heard, all the Favored awaited the "deity's" instruction, their attitude extremely respectful.

Seeing the cautious looks on everyone's faces, including Sebastian and Nisi, inexplicably, Charlotte suddenly found it a bit uninteresting.

Of course, this feeling was fleeting, and she quickly adjusted her mindset, asking:

"Preparations… all ready?"

Hearing Charlotte's words, the Guardian's Staff stepped forward first, saying:

"Reporting to True Ancestor Your Majesty, the Holy Royal Court is ready to engage with the evil at any time, the super long-distance teleportation array leading to Falling Star City has been completed, the Holy Legion is all set for teleportation operations and response summons at any time!"

Hearing the Guardian's Staff's words, Charlotte nodded slightly.

Though the Guardian's Staff had many secrets, it was also the clearest about who Charlotte's enemy truly was and understood best what they might be confronting in the coming moments.

As for the others, they didn't know as much.

However, Charlotte didn't intend to tell her Favored everything.

Some things, knowing more isn't better; a deity's power far surpasses mundane imagination, especially the deity Charlotte plans to confront next, which even though was still in a sleeping state, had a Position that surpassed hers.

Sometimes, just "knowing" means being "marked," potentially becoming a "puppet."

Just like… Helios.

So, Charlotte merely used "legends" to inform all her Favored, that "Holy Presence Day" was approaching, that the true evil would resurrect, and the entire world could fall into turmoil or even war, and everyone needed to be ready to wage war at any moment.

This was already enough.

"Reporting to Savior Your Majesty, the Nais Clan is also ready for battle, both Nais Army and Nais Fleet are ready to set out anytime!"

Badak said fervently.

Then, others also expressed their stance:

"The dark net of Shedite Clan has been activated, gathering fifteen mercenary corps covertly controlled by the clan in the Eastern Yonette Black Land, ready to fight for True Ancestor Your Majesty at any time."

"The allied forces of Vadret Clan and Saleem Clan are fully assembled, awaiting True Ancestor Your Majesty's summons at anytime!"

"The Harcos Clan's guards are battle-ready."

Even the Falling Star Kingdom, represented by Nisi, expressed its stance:

"Meow! The entire kingdom is ready for the battle, and the mobilization of all great nobles is complete."

"Very well!"

Listening to everyone's report, Charlotte nodded slightly, feeling satisfied within.

"Your Majesty the Savior! Who is our specific target this time? Where are we to conquer?"

Badak asked excitedly.

Charlotte shook her head:

"No, Badak, this time... our target is defense."

"Defense?"

Badak was taken aback.

Charlotte nodded slightly and said:

"Indeed, a powerful deity is about to resurrect, and it will see me as a great enemy. Those who follow me, those who might become my 'Anchor Points', will also be seen as enemies by it."

"Not only that, all transcendent beings might be seen as sources of power by it, so... the extraordinary powers of the entire Mireya Continent might become its target."

"Therefore... your task now is to protect yourselves, protect everything, and when that deity's Favored launches an attack, you must rise in resistance and repel them!"

A deity feared even by Her Majesty the True Ancestor?!

Seeing Charlotte's solemn expression, the many followers were momentarily stunned, looking at each other.

But soon, they bowed again, their voices reverent and grand:

"We shall follow your oracle in everything!"

Only Sebastian and Nisi had complex expressions.

Unlike the others, Sebastian had been to Moon God Island, had followed Charlotte the longest, and knew her the best, having some guesses.

And Nisi had been almost always by Charlotte's side these days, witnessing everything.

Both of them... actually knew who Charlotte's enemy was.

"Your Majesty the True Ancestor, what about you then?"

Sebastian finally couldn't hold back and asked.

Charlotte looked towards the west:

"I will make a journey to the West Continent."

"After I leave, all matters will be coordinated by Sebastian, Nisi, and the Guardian's Staff, with Sebastian leading, and Nisi and the Guardian's Staff assisting."

Upon these words, the expressions of many in the bloodline changed instantly.

"Your Majesty the True Ancestor? You... you are going to the West Continent?!"

Margo, the Great Prophet of the Harcos Clan, asked nervously.

"Your Majesty the True Ancestor... will you... will you return?"

Duke Ron asked nervously as well.

Seeing the bloodline clans' panicked expressions, Charlotte knew what they were worried about.

Fifteen hundred years ago, the "Blood True Ancestor" also disappeared shortly after heading to the West Continent.

Now the True Ancestor has returned, regathered all the power, and the bloodline clans even faintly show signs of revival. Naturally, the followers of Charlotte do not want her to disappear again.

"Rest assured, I will return. I just have to go to the West Continent once to solve a problem."

Charlotte said.

After hearing her words, the expressions of the bloodline clans gradually calmed, although there was still worry, they at least gained the promise of the deity.

"Then, Your Majesty the Savior, is there anything we can do for you?"

Badak asked.

"This is a conflict among deities; there isn't much you can do to help. You just need to protect everything; that will be the greatest assistance."

Charlotte said.

A conflict among deities...

The expressions of many in the bloodline grew even more worried.

Finally, it was the Guardian's Staff who spoke up:

"Her Majesty the True Ancestor is likely going to handle the remnants of the Sun Sect. The Sun God Helios probably hasn't fallen but is lingering in the West Continent. Her Majesty the True Ancestor's journey to the West Continent is to handle this matter."

After hearing these words, the bloodline clans felt reassured, and Charlotte glanced at the Guardian's Staff.

Feeling the gaze of the deity, the Guardian's Staff respectfully said:

"Her Majesty the True Ancestor, knowing this should be fine for them. The Sun's pollution is not strong enough to target them because of it."

Only then did Charlotte retract her gaze.

"I hope when I return, I can see everyone again in this hall."

She said.

Crimson light gradually bloomed from her body, as her figure slowly became transparent and illusory.

Watching the figure slowly fading on the throne, many followers respectfully bowed:

"Farewell, Your Majesty the True Ancestor!"
