The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1955: Is This Considered Surrender?

"How does this kid have such a keen nose? How did he find his way here? Does he know we're here?"

Maggie Fitzgerald stared hatefully at Carson Flores on the water mirror, her gaze filled with unabashed killing intent.

Aydin Hatfield shook his head: "He probably isn't here for us. Otherwise, before the main force of the Celestial Palace arrives, he wouldn't risk alerting us so soon."

Ricky Butler looked surprised: "If he isn't looking for us, then it's truly strange. Why does he keep haunting us? We come to the Heavenly Demon Continent, he comes too. We come to the Sky Wolf Palace, he follows us..."

Ricky Butler paused for a moment, and as he heard Carson Flores mention he was looking for Samir Coffey, his expression grew even more peculiar.

"He's actually an old acquaintance of Fellow Daoist Kong?"

Maggie Fitzgerald said coldly, "Before Samir Coffey ascended to the Skyland Continent, he was the Demon Emperor of the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, ruling over the Demon Race. Carson Flores was the Human Emperor, and the two were once deadly adversaries..."

"Deadly adversaries?"

Royal Combs' eyes lit up: "Isn't that a good thing for us then? What's Carson up to looking for Kong Ling? Does he think he's become powerful enough to cause trouble for Kong Ling?"

Ricky Butler opposed the idea: "He said he's here to visit a friend, so it's probably not for trouble."

Maggie Fitzgerald turned to look at Aydin Hatfield: "He got away last time. Now that he's delivered himself to us, why don't we seize the opportunity to kill him?"

Aydin Hatfield frowned: "Last time, despite so many of us, he still managed to escape. We've finally found a stable place; if we act and he escapes again, won't we be exposed here?"

Maggie Fitzgerald said defiantly, "Last time was in the wild, he escaped, and we couldn't chase him. But here is the Sky Wolf Palace. If we lure him inside and activate the Mountain Protection Array, how can he escape?"

Last time, Carson Flores was surrounded by everyone, seemingly in a desperate situation, yet he fought his way out and even a strong adversary blocking his path was nearly crushed.

And now?

Now he is at the entrance of the Sky Wolf Palace. Just lure him inside, and who wouldn't be able to kill him?

Maggie wasn't the only one thinking this way; many others were as well, all staring intently at Aydin Hatfield, waiting for his decision, waiting for his approval.

As long as they trick Carson Flores inside, is there any chance he won't die?

Aydin Hatfield stared at Maggie Fitzgerald: "Can you guarantee that once he's lured into the Sky Wolf Palace, he will definitely be slaughtered by us and unable to escape?"

Maggie immediately dared not speak.

She couldn't guarantee that, although luring someone in to kill them sounded reliable. But with Carson Flores, wasn't each attempt to kill him unreliable?

And the result?

Isn't Carson Flores alive and kicking now?

If they continue to expose themselves this time again, their hard-won Round Table Council alliance risk would be exposed, and they'd be forced to relocate once more.

They couldn't just hide somewhere randomly and remain undiscovered; such an approach would be meaningless. If they were going to hide, why bother coming to the Heavenly Demon Continent?

Weren't they hoping to lay the groundwork for future control over the Heavenly Demon Continent and make preparations?

Aydin Hatfield shook his head: "Killing Carson Flores doesn't have much impact on us. It's just to vent a grudge. If successful, it would be great, but if not, the consequences are unbearable for us."

"He's here to find Samir Coffey. We should just watch. As long as we stay quietly here for the time being and turn Sky Wolf Palace into our eyes and ears, that's enough."

"Since he doesn't come in, he naturally cannot discover us. Just stay calm and don't provoke him."

Aydin Hatfield finished speaking, smoothing his lips, his eyes showing a touch of helplessness: "I have to admit, this guy is a scourge, seemingly existing solely to jinx us..."

The crowd looked at each other, their eyes subtle.

Does that count as conceding?

The esteemed Heavenly Alliance, full of strong individuals, unexpectedly powerless against a kid who just entered the Golden Immortal stage?

This situation is somewhat ironic.

At the entrance of the Mountain Gate, Brooks Roth, after listening to Carson Flores' talk about the Heavenly Alliance, had a slightly subtle expression.

"Alright, I will accurately convey the message to our Palace Master. Envoy Flores, please wait here. I'll go back now and bring Samir Coffey out."

Carson Flores smiled and said: "Thank you."

Brooks Roth turned to a few Sky Wolf Palace disciples: "You guys follow me back!"

Brooks Roth led a few people through the mountain gate, leaving Carson Flores and his two companions standing at the entrance.

The three of them looked at each other with subtle expressions.

This hospitality is indeed quite unceremonious.

They were left outside the mountain gate without even a single person accompanying them...

The three didn't have much to say, after all, this is the Heavenly Demon Continent, and everyone knows about the pride of the Demon Race.

It didn't take long before a mist surrounded the mountain gate, and a figure walked out from it.

Samir Coffey.

Samir Coffey looked at Carson Flores and Lilianna Norman in front of him, his expression becoming quite subtle for a moment.

He had been madly absorbing the essence blood of strong individuals being refined in the formation when suddenly he was informed that someone was looking for him.

The kind that absolutely had to meet.

Immortal Palace Envoy, Carson Flores.

Upon hearing this name, Samir Coffey was a bit bewildered for a moment.

This kid actually managed to get involved with the Celestial Palace?

He's even an Immortal Palace Envoy?

Coming here to find him, is it for his body?
