The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1969: This Is the Demon Race's Territory—Are You Trying to Rebel?

Spencer Steele looked at Carson Flores, eyes filled with delight, yet somehow showing a hint of inexplicable annoyance.

Originally, I planned to take this Seven-colored Star Meteorite Iron as a gift for my mentor, as a present for our reunion. Who would have thought I'd end up trapped here, relying on my mentor for rescue.

How embarrassing!

My mentor initially gave me such a tremendous opportunity to save me, and I promised to train hard to protect him in the future. But is this all I achieved?

Spencer Steele is very powerful; if she was determined to escape, these people from the Black Scorpion Tribe could never stop her. It was her worry for the Golden Giant Ape that held her back.

Even so, Spencer Steele felt quite guilty. After all these years, she was an adult now, yet she was still troubling her mentor!

But...

A mentor is a mentor, truly impressive—just a single move, and those two were annihilated, both body and spirit. So powerful!

I thought I gained some big opportunities, rapidly improving my strength over the years, surely surpassing my mentor by now. But in reality, I overestimated myself.

Thinking of this, Spencer Steele's admiration when looking at Carson Flores increased even more.

Selah Ellison Immortal Lord approached Carson Flores, smiling, and said, "When did you get another disciple?"

Carson Flores laughed and said, "I accepted her not long before encountering you. We haven't spent much time together, and she ventured out on her own until today when we met unexpectedly."

Selah Ellison Immortal Lord smiled mischievously at Spencer Steele and said, "You sure know how to choose disciples. Her realm is far higher than yours."

Carson Flores laughed and said, "Blue surpasses blue, as they say. I'm merely an average mentor in terms of talent, while she has a Growth-Type Sword Spirit Body with extraordinary talent, surpassing me is only natural."

Spencer Steele couldn't help but argue, "That's not true. If it wasn't for my mentor giving up his already acquired great opportunity to save my life, he would have long become a Peak Heavenly Immortal. And even with my talent, without this opportunity, I would be nothing!"

Great opportunity?

Selah Ellison Immortal Lord turned his head with a look of surprise; this guy is so straightforward, giving away a great opportunity just to save his disciple?

Carson Flores laughed indifferently and said, "Opportunities come to those destined, and you were destined for it. I also obtained the Palace of Seven Beauties, so it wasn't a loss."

"You have no idea how many times the Palace of Seven Beauties has helped me evade danger over the years. It's not any less beneficial to me than an opportunity to enhance my strength."

While the three of them continued their conversation, Fernando Tate and the others had gathered again, glaring resentfully over here, rapidly discussing.

"What do we do now?"

"Run away!"

"They're watching us closely, if we start running, they'll definitely pursue us."

"Those two are very strong, not easy to deal with. If we get into a fight again, I'm afraid we'll suffer heavy losses, possibly... total annihilation!"

Fernando Tate's face twitched, he gritted his teeth and said, "Ask them who they are! Two Human Races, on Demon Race territory—do they want to turn the world upside down?"

The white-haired elder nodded and spoke, "Who are you across there, daring to kill members of the Heavenly Scorpion Sect? Do you have a death wish?"

Heavenly Scorpion Sect?

Carson Flores narrowed his eyes slightly and said calmly, "Hand over the Seven-colored Star Meteorite Iron and we'll let it go. Otherwise, we continue fighting."

The white-haired elder's heart sank. The other party can't possibly be unaware that the Heavenly Scorpion Sect is a top-tier force on the Heavenly Demon Continent and a member of the Round Table Council. Yet they showed no fear, instead issuing direct threats.

"This is the Heavenly Demon Continent, the territory of our Demon Race. Your words are too arrogant; otherwise, you won't be able to leave this continent."

Carson Flores ignored the white-haired elder's threat and turned to the mountain-like Golden Giant Ape, asking, "Is it your friend?"

Spencer Steele introduced, "It's Little Goldie. It got hurt fighting other giant beasts before, and I saved it, so it's been following me ever since..."

While Spencer Steele spoke, she took out a Detoxification Pill and fed it to the Golden Giant Ape.

Carson Flores took out a Buddha Heart Pill, thought for a moment, then took out two more and handed them to Spencer Steele: "It's been poisoned by the Heavenly Scorpion Clan's sting poison. Ordinary Detoxification Pills won't cure it. Feed it this, dissolve it in a bucket of water and that should be enough."

Spencer Steele hesitated, seeming a bit embarrassed to reach out.

Carson Flores laughed and said, "Why, are you being polite with your mentor? Let me tell you, I am the Pill King, and if I want a pill, I just make it myself. Are you afraid of eating it all up? What are you being polite for?"

Pill King?

Spencer Steele's eyes lit up with deepening admiration.

My mentor is so amazing!

Truly worthy of being my mentor!

"Thank you, mentor!"

Spencer Steele no longer hesitated, taking the Buddha Heart Pill, mixed it with a bucket of water, crushed it into powder, dissolved it, and then poured the entire solution into the mouth of the Golden Giant Ape.

Fernando Tate saw this and sensed even more danger.

This group is harder to deal with, one member more challenging than the last, and once the Golden Giant Ape recovers, there's even less chance of winning.

Fernando Tate quietly ordered, "Everyone split up, retreat!"
