Heaven Slaying Blade

Chapter 190: Thunder Shock Slash

Anger, helplessness, his heart flooded with murderous intent!

Previously, Zhao Changhai thought Chu Mo was ruthless enough, holding a matchless treasure sword, killing people left and right.

Now, however, he wished he had a murdering sword to behead the greedy devils behind him!

The people behind him didn't utter a word, all glaring at Zhao Changhai, grinding their teeth and swearing to seize the dragon scale from his hands. At such a time, those who persisted and did not retreat, their inner greed was overwhelming. This, of course, included the hunted Zhao Changhai!

Looking at the scene below, Chu Mo found himself at a loss for words and chuckled bitterly, "What a lively scene!"

The rooster coldly laughed, "What's so much about this? There's more excitement to come!"

Just then, Chu Mo suddenly felt a tremor beneath his feet. This enormous dragon's nest... seemed to come alive all of a sudden!

Chu Mo was startled at first, then thought of something, his eyes wide open.

Then... Chu Mo saw hundreds of vines shooting out from the enormous dragon nest beneath his feet!

All the vines were incredibly sharp, like long spears flying out, fiercely piercing the group of people charging towards the dragon's nest.

"Ah!"

"What is this?"

"Get out of the way!"

"This dragon's nest is alive!"

The crowd let out a series of shrieks, followed by heartbreaking screams.

Some people were directly impaled by the vines through their stomachs, their bodies instantly shrivelling up, turning into a skeleton in the blink of an eye.

The others didn't escape the attack of the vines either.

Some had their thighs pierced through, hanging on the vines moaning. The vines drained their bodies of flesh and blood in an instant, turning them into skeletons.

Some had their eyebrows pierced through, dying on the spot.

Except for Zhao Changhai, all the rest, within a few breaths, were killed by these vines!

Screams of panic echoed in the vast space, but these people… were already dead!

Only Zhao Changhai was left, standing dumbfounded, holding the dragon scale in his hand. He didn't dare to move, his brain...seemed to stop working.

Until now, he didn't understand what had happened.

"Wasn't I being chased by these people? How did they...all die? How could these vines...kill people?" After a while, Zhao Changhai, whose eyes had been still, slowly moved, murmuring, "Am I dreaming?"

Then, Zhao Changhai's body shivered violently. His almost wooden eyes regained their life, but revealed absolute terror.

This scene was too bizarre. Not only him, but even if Lone City Sword or those in Immortal Beyond Heaven came, faced with this situation, they would probably be frightened.

Almost every vine had a dried corpse hanging from it. The few vines which had not caught anything seemed resentful, dancing in mid-air like serpents.

What was strange was that all those vines ignored Zhao Changhai. Even the scarce few that passed by him seemed to deliberately avoid him.

Zhao Changhai stood there not daring to move for a long time, looking at the dragon scale in his hand, then suddenly burst out laughing, "Hahaha! Hahaha! Who would have thought...who would have thought, that I, Zhao Changhai, would have a day like this? You bunch of bastards...you animals, why don't you chase me? Chase me!"

Zhao Changhai laughed until tears were about to flow down his face, seeming completely insane. It was a long while before his laughter subsided, and standing there, his face flushed with excitement, he muttered, "Thank you, Lord Azure Dragon, for your protection. Thank you, Lord Azure Dragon, for your protection."

With that, he immediately knelt on the ground, facing the direction of the dragon's nest, bowing his head in reverence three times.

Chu Mo and the rooster looked at each other speechlessly.

The rooster grumbled, "I'm starting to reconsider."

Zhao Changhai, on the other hand, had no idea there were people at the dragon's nest. After bowing his head, he stood up and announced, "Elder Azure Dragon... I'm certain you left your legacy here. I come bearing a piece of your dragon scale, hoping for the blessings of Elder Azure Dragon..."

The rooster extended a wing, scratching his head twice and mumbling, "I really want to beat him up!"

"So go!" Chu Mo encouraged.

"But I feel like that would be beneath me," the rooster looked at Chu Mo. "Why don't you go?"

"Why does it reduce your dignity if you go, but it's normal if I go?" Chu Mo rolled his eyes. "You said you would save face and not kill him, so why should I take action?"

Chu Mo seemed a bit regretful, "My master intended for these people to be my training aids. Who would've thought they would all be killed by the vines on top of the dragon's nest?"

The rooster looked speechless at Chu Mo, "You're not just abnormal, you inherited it from your master..."

Suddenly, violent shaking emerged as if the earth and the mountains were moving.

Chu Mo and the rooster looked at each other, both revealing horrified expressions. If the place collapsed, none of them could escape!

Even if the rooster could burrow underground and Chu Mo had the Heaven Slaying power, being trapped here would make it extremely difficult to leave!

Zhao Changhai was also petrified. He had just finished seeking blessings from Azure Dragon... when this occurred. He was so scared, he couldn't even make a sound.

The rooster suddenly said, "It must be your master. This place is isolated from divine sense, but seeing so many people enter, he must be worried about you! Such a proud human, unwilling to come in through that hole!"

As it spoke, a violent ripple from above transmitted down. It was as if a ray of light descended from the sky in an instant.

Then... the deafening noise of earthquake followed.

With a cracking sound, everything thundered!

The dragon cave was hacked open from above!

"Thunder shock! My master actually used this move!" As soon as Chu Mo felt that aura, he immediately thought about the demon lord's move.

It was the fifth cut of the eights cuts of the Netherworld — Thunder shock!

The power... it was akin to the might of the heavens.

Even the rooster was startled; it cocked its head, the large, bright-colored crest shaking on its head, looking at Chu Mo, "Kid... what kind of monster is your master?"

And then, a cold voice resounded from the sky, "Does the origin of the monster matter?"

Next, before Chu Mo and the rooster, the Demon Lord appeared, emotionless and clad in black.

"Master!" Chu Mo exclaimed joyously.

"Monster!" The rooster said, its face full of fear. It felt an unsettling murderous intent from the Demon Lord.

As for Zhao Changhai in the cave, he had been scared senseless by the might of the Thunder Shock and fainted, his hand... still firmly clutching that dragon scale.

The Demon Lord looked dismissively at Zhao Changhai, while Chu Mo said beside him, "Master, I promised the rooster to leave this man alone…"

The Demon Lord did not say anything, just nodded, "Let him roll out of here!"

With that, a flip of his wrist and Zhao Changhai flew up, through the same path the Demon Lord had entered... and was thrown out. (To be continued. If you like this novel, please visit qidian.com to vote for it. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users can read at m.qidian.com)
