Heaven Slaying Blade

Chapter 888: Primordial Infant Transforms into a Deity

The Extreme Dao Scroll, is to act against Heaven.

In fact, when a cultivator reached the Spirit Refining Realm, one truly splits into two, refining out a second primordial spirit. This is indeed an act against Heaven.

Because for any creature, life only happens once. Death is death. Either dissipate into smoke and return to dust, or undergo reincarnation and the cycle of cause and effect.

By the time of the Primordial Infant stage, one has already begun the path against Heaven.

Within the cultivator's body, a small being formed from the condensation of Heaven and Earth's essence energy, known as the Primordial Infant, is born. All of a cultivator's cultivation essence resides within the Primordial Infant. If the cultivator dies, the Primordial Infant can break free from the body and start cultivating anew, and after many years, there is still a chance to cultivate back.

This is equivalent to having an extra life!

It allows one to avoid a true death crisis.

But this is just the beginning of the path against Heaven. Generally speaking, in the eyes of fellow cultivators within the same realm, the Primordial Infant is still very fragile. Of course, when facing a Golden Core cultivator, the Primordial Infant is quite confident in being able to suppress the opponent easily. But if facing a fellow Primordial Infant cultivator, it is practically a dead end.

So, this is still not truly acting against Heaven.

Upon reaching the Spirit Refining Realm and refining out a second primordial spirit, this second primordial spirit is truly a creation against Heaven!

Beyond Heaven, it can depart from its original self!

In an instant, it can appear thousands of miles away!

Primordial spirit... It has already developed divine abilities!

If this second primordial spirit finds a suitable body, then this person can truly split into two, becoming two cultivators with independent thoughts... completely different from each other!

Fundamentally speaking, these two cultivators are actually one person, but in reality, when they meet, they can call each other fellow Daoists!

If one dies, the other suffers severe damage, but will not die from it! They still can continue cultivating!

Moreover, it can inherit all of the memories of the other!

This is what truly acting against Heaven is!

If the original body perishes, then the second primordial spirit can replace the original and exist in the world. There's essentially no difference from the original!

There's only one thing, the body of the second primordial spirit can never condense a Primordial Infant again, without a Primordial Infant, it's impossible to proceed with the Primordial Infant to Spirit Refining step. But as long as the second primordial spirit doesn't die, it can still cultivate to the Mahayana, ascend... and then break through continuously upward.

If one day, it truly reaches the supreme status, then reversing rebirth and creating a second primordial spirit again is not a difficult task. But at that realm, being able to transform into millions, having or not having a second primordial spirit isn't that important.

Moreover, there are almost none whose second primordial spirit can cultivate independently and reach a very high realm.

If the second primordial spirit perishes, then like the original body, it too will suffer violent damage, and likewise, cannot continue to condense the Primordial Infant.

This means that any cultivator has only one chance in their life to condense a Primordial Infant and only one chance for the Primordial Infant to undergo Spirit Refining.

Those whose original bodies have perished and whose Primordial Infant has escaped, even if one day the Primordial Infant can cultivate back, they will never have another chance to condense a Primordial Infant again.

Therefore, in the eyes of truly great cultivators, whether it's cultivators in the Primordial Infant or Spirit Refining stages, it's all the most vulnerable time.

When reaching the Mahayana stage, as long as a suitable second incarnation is found, his life usually has the most basic guarantee.

If one is killed, another can still live.

But for the vast majority of cultivators, it's merely surviving. Because losing an incarnation, or the incarnation losing the original, which is equivalent to losing half of one's vital essence... it's almost impossible to continue on the path of cultivation.

In fact, in the long history of the Cultivation Realm, there have been countless instances of this.

A powerful being in the Ascension stage had their second incarnation directly killed, and the entire person immediately fell into despair with no hope of any breakthroughs thereafter. They then gradually disappeared from people's sight.

Such common outcomes usually involve finding a secluded place to live out their lives in solitude. Some ancient caves unearthed by later generations are mostly left behind by such people!

Because if a normal cultivator were alive, they would either be alive or have completely exhausted their life expectancy and ended through Dao Conversion; they usually wouldn't leave behind any complete caves.

Those cultivators who end through Dao Conversion typically take all their inheritances and dharma instruments with them into their graves! Rather than leaving behind a cave.

Chu Mo sat quietly, operating the "Dao Extreme Volume" and began to sense a thread of resistance emerging between Heaven and Earth.

It seemed as if a mysterious force was constantly tearing at the essence energy between Heaven and Earth, channeling it into his body.

The consequences of defying Heaven... began to manifest.

Cultivation was no longer as straightforward as before!

But the Great Dao is fifty, Heaven evolves forty-nine, humans escape the one. Nothing in this world is perfect, including the Yellow Heavens Great Dao. There is always a glimmer of hope left for people.

This sliver of hope is precisely what all cultivators strive to seize!

And it's that very sliver... that they cultivate!

Although cultivation began to encounter resistance, Chu Mo also felt completely different things.

For example, the Heavenly Dao, which had been vague and chaotic, suddenly began to form a clearer and more complete concept in his heart at this moment.

He could even start to grasp and perceive the strands of the Heavenly Dao. This perception was many times stronger than before!

Therefore, in Chu Mo's heart, there was more surprise than anything else.

Subsequently, the Primordial Infant, which had been sitting cross-legged on the Dao platform and would not move unless he fell, began to slowly open its eyes as Chu Mo continued to operate the "Dao Extreme Volume," with law-like forces injecting into the Primordial Infant.

The left eye manifested as stars, the right eye as the sun and moon.

One glance spanned the Immeasurable epochs!

It seemed as if worlds were being born and destroyed in his eyes, with life and death continuously evolving!

This is the Dao!

Profound yet profound, marvelous yet marvelous's Great Dao!

Chu Mo was enveloped in a faint glow at this moment.

The Fire Dragon in the cup nearby was somewhat shocked: This young man, imbued with the aura of the Five Elements, was truly defying heaven, and how soon... he had already begun the conversion from Primordial Infant to divine being! And judging by the look of it, it seemed to be the top-tier Dao Conversion!

The conversion of the Primordial Infant into a divine being capable of leaving the body as a second primordial spirit... is truly a law of the Great Dao!

It is the most coveted yet elusive method of conversion for all cultivators.

Unperturbed by the Fire Dragon's shock, Chu Mo continued to cultivate quietly.

As Chu Mo kept operating the "Dao Extreme Volume" from the "Heavenly Intent My Intent Method," vast amounts of essence energy from Heaven and Earth began to gather crazily from all directions, swarming into the elixir field in Chu Mo's body.

Then, thousands of strands of Great Dao laws began to wrap around the Primordial Infant atop the Five-Colored Dao Platform.

Very soon, the Primordial Infant became invisible. On the Five-Colored Dao Platform, it seemed as if a cocoon had appeared.

And this cocoon... was made up of countless Great Dao law forces!

Chu Mo's eyes were tightly closed, and it was also the critical moment for the conversion of the Primordial Infant into a divine being!

----------

Yes, the fifth night watch burst!

By the time you're reading this chapter, I should have arrived home, and very likely am already asleep...

Enduring the stars and moon, braving the wind and rain.

All for that initial dream in my heart—to be a writer loved by everyone, telling the stories within my heart to you all.

It's as simple as that, because that's the original intention.
