Step… Step…
Leo slowly walked towards the relic, his legs were dragging, the strength in his body already drained, he could barely keep his consciousness, his muscles, every inch of his body was screaming for release… as if they wanted to lie down and take a deep rest, not wanting to move an inch too.
But he forced those dying limbs forward, breath ragged, vision trembling, every step a silent argument between life and collapse.
Yet, he didn't have any option… other than moving forward!
That's all he could do!
That's where his hope lay… he kept moving forward… his hand holding his sword like a lifeline, fingers tightening around the hilt, as he slowly reached towards the hovering relic. Its glow shimmered like a heartbeat in the void, a pulse calling him closer.
Just then,
Tang!
His hand moved back, blocking Camazotz's sharp claws.
Leo slowly turned back and was slightly surprised to see Fallen Camazotz... But more importantly, he sighed, "Just how long is this fight going to keep going?" he muttered with a defeated tone, almost laughing at the absurdity of still standing.
"Until we fucking kill you!" Dracula's voice echoed like thunder rolling through a tomb as he appeared beside him, his hand holding a bloody spear that was about to penetrate Leo's body.
Leo tilted his stomach just enough to dodge the lethal thrust before kicking Dracula's hand with a sharp, desperate snap and sliding behind, boots skidding through blood on the floor.
He took a safe distance from them as he looked at them with cold eyes, clenching his sword.
"Why is it so hard to kill you?" Dracula muttered with a cold tone.
There was annoyance in his voice, but beneath it, a sliver of disbelief. Never in his existence had he imagined he would say this to a human who couldn't even use magic, and yet this stubborn, bleeding mortal still stood after all this massacre and madness?
If his children told him a story like this, he would have laughed it off and killed them on the spot for lying. But now… seeing this and experiencing this in front of him…
Honestly, this was one of Dracula's worst nightmares he ever had!
Looking at Leo's strong face, like he still could win against them!
How laughable!
"Do you think you still can win?" Dracula asked as he looked at Leo with curious eyes, almost entertained by the human's refusal to bow. Leo glanced at Dracula and Camazotz before answering, "But I try!" he said, as he lunged towards them with everything he had left, like a dying star refusing to dim.
Dracula and Camazotz smirked. They decided to end this once and for all. Their bodies flickered with energy, as swirling magic circles appeared in their hands. Their shadows twisted along the ground as they flinched forward and fought against Leo.
Leo clenched his sword as he slashed their attacks again and again, sparks and blood spraying with every impact, while Dracula and Camazotz played with him like a toy that couldn't help but endure torment... they too have lost energy, so they kind of lower than before.
But still, the gap between Leo and those two was maintained.
Their attacks landed on his body, scratching him, tearing through flesh as blood flowed down his wounds, but nothing fatal. He managed to avoid the crucial strikes, as he parried them with his sword… his blade ringing like a desperate heartbeat.
Both Dracula and Camazotz were slightly surprised to see Leo parrying them, even though both of them were fighting against Leo at the same time.
For a mere human to stand against two ancient monsters—this alone spit in the face of logic.
His katana slashed Camazotz's claws before slashing down onto Dracula's bloody weapons one by one…
"I can feel it…" Camaztoz muttered as he lashed his mouth at Leo's head, almost biting it off in one brutal snap. The air shimmered under the force of that bite, a crack of killing intent strong enough to split bone.
If not for Leo bending back at the last instant, escaping by a breath—
But Dracula moved, and he swung the blood axe at Leo's bent hips. Leo twisted his body, muscles screaming as he threw his weight to the side. The axe carved the ground in one devastating slash, splitting stone like rotten wood.
Leo stood up, glaring at them. Camaztoz smirked, fangs dripping with excitement. "I can feel your fear… I can smell it… that fear of losing something important to you. What could it be? Haha." He smirked wickedly, eyes glowing with cruel curiosity.
Dracula grinned as his eyes burned crimson. The bloody axe twisted into a whip, veins of blood pulsing through its length, and he yanked the air forcefully. "What else? Other than his little bitches~ Haha… I would love to break them before you… Tsk, tsk, pity they weren't here," he said with a disappointed tone, mocking Leo with every word.
Leo clenched his fist as veins popped on his forehead.
Both Dracula and Camazotz smirked wickedly before they disappeared. Leo's eyes widened as he looked around, holding the sword tightly in his hand, his senses sharpened to their limits, desperately trying to pinpoint them.
Just then, a whistling sound echoed—his ears caught it—before he turned back and blocked the claws that appeared out of nowhere, claws that were meant to cut his neck in a single stroke.
"Not bad~" Camazotz smirked with a wicked tone, but his face twisted into pity. "But too bad~"
WHIPPP!
"ARH!"
Leo screamed when Dracula's whip slashed his back, tearing his skin like a piece of paper. Flesh split open. Blood burst out. Leo clenched his teeth, forcing himself to hold the scream down as he turned to attack Dracula—but Dracula disappeared again, and Camazotz with him.
They were flying very fast around him, their wings fluttered furiously in the air as they kept attacking him, circling him like vultures around a dying man.
Tang!
WHIPP!
WHIPP!
TANG!
Leo could barely keep up with their speed. They were moving faster, harder, more vicious with every pass… and their attacks were hitting his body again and again. He could only manage to avoid getting hit on his vital parts, barely holding them off as his entire body became covered in wounds.
Claw Marks and Whips!
Treating him like a slave!
Especially his naked top, which was easy for them to play with, their attacks cutting through his skin again and again, pain erupting through every nerve in his body.
Yet he still hadn't given up, just standing there holding everything back… His eyes kept glancing at the Relic, just a few inches away, yet he couldn't reach it!
Drip… Drip…
Blood dripping under him, dripping from his chest, the wounds across his torso, flowing through his pants, down his legs. His legs were too wounded to move freely, shaking, trembling.
A pool of blood formed under him.
They kept attacking… more like they were playing with him.
Making him suffer… making him put in his place!
Leo bit his lips, unable to scream or cry out... just holding everything!!
His bloody eyes looked around with a hazy expression, vision trembling as he stared at Dracula and Camazotz hovering before him like executioners waiting for the final command.
"No more miracles? No more fighting back? No more… help?" Camazotz uttered with an amused expression as he licked the blood on his claws with a wicked smile, savouring the taste.
Yet, Leo was not responding.
"Did he… die?" Dracula muttered, seeing Leo just standing there holding his weapon like he had completely lost himself.
They weren't even sure—until his eyeballs twitched toward the relic.
Just then, they noticed… or more like they finally paid attention… his chest was actually glowing through his skin, the light pushing past the blood that covered him.
It was like something burning inside him… like a tungsten bulb planted in his chest… slowly glowing from within, brighter, hotter, alive.
They blinked at each other before smirking.
"Looks like he decided to detonate himself weirdly~" Camazotz smirked.
"But we don't allow him to die that easily, do we?" Dracula smirked as he glanced at Camazotz, who wickedly grinned before they disappeared—and Camazotz's claws caught Leo, dragging across his flesh, before throwing him upward into the sky.
Dracula flew beside him before whipping him in midair.
Whip!
Leo's face slammed under the impact of the whip, almost breaking his nose as blood flowed from it.
He barely managed to block the attack that would have been fatal.
Chuckk!
Camazotz's claws nearly cut down his neck, but he managed to avoid it with just a thin cut—but survival didn't matter when they were playing with him like prey in the air!
Camazotz caught Leo's body like a hawk catching a helpless chick, throwing him at Dracula, who whipped him back and forth, their bodies rising higher into the sky with each cruel strike.
They slowly moved upward, playing with his body like a piece of discarded trash.
"You like this? Huh? Like this—how you done to this relic? This is karma, bitch!" Dracula smirked with a haughty expression before whipping again. Leo's body jerked violently as he was hit back toward Camazotz, who caught him and shoved him again toward Dracula.
"Come on, fight back, it would be boring otherwise!" Dracula said with an amused expression as his whip wrapped around Leo's leg, holding him upside down. Leo hung there, dangling, his eyes rolling back as if he was on the verge of losing consciousness.
"What is he doing?" Camazotz muttered. "Looks like he gave up already," he added, staring at Leo, whose body was covered in blood. The blood from his hands flowed down to his katana sword, still locked in his grip, covering the hilt and blade as it pooled at the tip.
Dripp…
Before falling down from the tip of the sky… and landing on the ground where the pile of blood pooled, flowing gently before… a ripple of golden hue formed and disappeared like a dying heartbeat under the surface.
Dracula snorted, "Gave up now? After all the mess he made? FUCK YOU!" as he kicked Leo's face with his foot. The bloody sword in Leo's hand flew away.
Dracula kicked a few more times until Leo's mouth was covered in blood, his jaw nearly cracked—yet he wasn't screaming. Not even a grunt.
Dracula smirked, leaning closer, "Once you leave, next is my daughter… I am going to thoroughly enjoy breaking her apart… ahahaha…" he laughed wickedly.
Yet, no response from Leo.
Dracula looked at him with a pitiful tone, "Looks like you indeed gave up… Now that's disappointing," he muttered, face turning uninterested, losing all his excitement for the fight. He raised his hand, ready to finish him off, already imagining the lifeless corpse.
When—
Leo jerked his legs, kicking the whip before falling down.
Sensing that small opposing force—
Dracula and Camazotz's eyes smirked, sharp and excited. "We won't let you die that fast!" they said as they flew downward, wings fluttering furiously, thinking Leo had decided to kill himself rather than die by their hands.
Dracula conjured a blood spear in his hand, veins of crimson pulsing through it, before launching it toward Leo with full force.
BOOM!!
The air rippled violently as the spear shot forward, ready to tear through Leo's chest once and for all…
Leo, who was falling down, his bloody, messy hair fluttered wildly, covering half of his face in shadow until…
THUD!
His sword stabbed into the ground first, landing in the bloody pool as the ground cracked from the sheer force of the stabbing…. And—
His lips curled up wickedly.
Dracula's face turned slightly pale…He knew that smile.
He fucking knew it.
The same wicked grin this damned human showed when he cornered Dracula before—the grin that meant something terrible, something impossible, was about to happen.
Before Dracula could process anything—
Leo's chest began glowing furiously, the light burning through his flesh as if his ribs were about to burst open, and Leo's lips parted,
"Summon…. Caelindra Pendragon!"
SSNNNNNNNGGGGG!!!
The sound roared like a divine blade being unsheathed across the heavens.
Both Camazotz and Dracula's eyes widened as they watched the entire ground glow with swirling green particles, rising like awakened spirits, lighting the battlefield under a storm of emerald fire.
