Chapter 131: Capturing A Rank Two Lesser Beast (2)

BOOMMM!!

On his third charge, Ezekiel drew it out, holding the energy longer.

His gauntlet shone brightly, lighting up the bars and the Cybernetic Sabre-tooth rabbit insignia on it.

After a flurry of blows, he finally released it -

A devastating shockwave erupted from his fists into the golden-winged beast, coursing through its body and detonating outward into the battlefield.

The earth cracked violently.

Winds howled, and both the poisonous gas and suffocating mist were swept far into the distance.

The golden-winged beast released one last resonating billow before falling unconscious on the battlefield.

Ezekiel breathed heavily as he looked at the golden-winged beast, its head embedded deep at the centre of the crater, with its entire body tilting toward it as though burying itself in the hole.

Ezekiel grabbed the beast's head and pulled it out of the pit.

He went under the unconscious golden-winged beast and placed it over his shoulders.

Then, his engines burst to life as he soared into the skies, carrying the beast with him.

He didn't move toward the edge of the rolling, steamy mist.

The CRs stationed around the perimeters of the battlefield to keep watch had already informed him that students had approached to observe and understand what was transpiring here.

However, to avoid being seen, they backed away moments later after witnessing the intensity of the battle.

Even the CRs had distanced themselves from them to avoid being noticed by the students, since they weren't his true tamed beasts, and he couldn't unsummon them like Felix.

So, unless those students were blind and dumb, they would most likely notice an unconscious Rank Two golden-winged Lesser Beast being carried into the skies on the shoulders of a cybernetic armoured figure.

Thus, Ezekiel had to take the safest route.

The sound of gallops echoed within the steamy mist.

No one else could hear these sounds unless they possessed sensitive ears or heightened senses.

The only reason Ezekiel had managed to listen to them was because of the Cybernetic Swift-Horned Panther full-body armour.

In fact, he could even see the magical beast galloping swiftly on the ground, heading towards him.

It was none other than Victory.

Victory halted directly beneath him, as though awaiting his command.

"Good. Everyone should quickly head to the designated location so we can end this," Ezekiel said.

Without hesitation, Victory galloped forward.

With the steamy mist providing cover and hiding their magical signatures, they followed from above.

Meanwhile, Squad Seven, Squad Six, and other squad members scattered across the area to keep an eye on the perimeters, leaping into the ground and burrowing through the earth to follow them from behind.

Soon, they arrived at their destination.

The boundary of the sealed Magical Swordsman Department Dungeon, Zone Two.

The strongest beast in this location was a Late Stage First Rank Lesser Beast.

However, such a beast was no threat to Ezekiel or any of the cybernetic beasts present.

The moment they sensed the approaching power of the rolling, steamy mist and the unconscious, golden-winged beast, they quickly fled, scattering in various directions and keeping clear of the area.

Victory halted before a large hole tens of meters in diameter.

This was a hole Ezekiel had commanded Squad One, Squad Two, and Squad Three to dig out to store the golden-winged beast after its capture temporarily.

With nine Cybernetic Sabre-Tooth Rabbit Beasts each possessing limitless stamina and endurance, undertaking this task, they had dug a large enough pit within half an hour to bury the golden-winged beast and watch over it.

Without hesitation, Ezekiel descended into the pit and gently placed the beast inside.

He didn't want to harm his potential investment.

After that, he soared out of the pit.

"Suit off."

The Cybernetic Swift-Horned Panther's Full-Body Armour condensed into liquid and slowly separated from Ezekiel's skin. Then, the liquid split into three forms, transforming into Felix, CR8, and CR18.

"Cover it up," Ezekiel ordered.

He stored CR8, CR18, and the rest of the Cybernetic Sabre-Tooth Rabbits, leaving only the four squads for the task.

He also left behind Felix and Victory to guard the beast and knock it unconscious again in case it awakened.

Felix and Victory nodded in understanding and leapt into the hole.

They crawled into the burrows.

In no time, the pit was filled with steamy mist, while the mist above it began clearing up.

The assigned squads also got to work, quickly covering the hole they had dug.

Even if someone came, it would be difficult for them to notice the pit, because digging and securing burrows beneath the earth was one of the Sabre-Tooth Rabbits' specialities.

Predators and students had always struggled to locate them due to this skill.

Now, with their cybernetically enhanced minds and with Victory shielding their magical signatures, it was nearly impossible for anyone, even magical beasts, to locate them.

Even if the Dungeon Service Nurses came searching, they wouldn't uncover a thing.

Sky Dash!

An invisible wind platform manifested beneath Ezekiel's feet as he leapt into the sky, boosting his speed and propelling him forward.

Ezekiel began the next phase of his plan.

He quickly headed toward the place where he had left Esther and the others to check their condition.

If other students had already found them and taken them to the Dungeon Hall, or had personally called over the Dungeon Service Nurses, then it was perfect.

Even if they were still there, it would cause no issues.

Both scenarios were easy to explain if he was questioned, because he clearly did not have the qualifications to take on and defeat a Rank Two Lesser Beast.

Besides, with the steamy mist present, a phenomenon many students recognised as an ability of the Flaming River Deer, it would be easy for them to assume that the mist had come from a powerful Flaming River Deer that had battled the golden-winged beast.

Even if his previous feats were brought up, and they chose not to believe him and decided to probe deeper, discovering his Beastmaster Path Rune, which would lead to various other complications, Felix was still only a Rank One Lesser Beast.
