Chapter 343: Jiang Cheng's Slick Maneuvering (8)

"Look at that flight, does it seem like someone is flying it? It's like they're playing with their lives!" The captain's eyes were almost on fire; the plane suddenly sped up earlier and scared him quite a bit, his heart is still pounding.

The co-pilot appeared calm as usual, but upon seeing the radar situation, he suddenly was shocked, eyes wide open, shouting, "Accelerate, that little bastard is rushing up, we're about to collide!"

"Damn it!" Both pilots were cursing due to Jiang Cheng's provocation. They normally don't swear much, but they couldn't hold back this time.

The Southern Airlines flight suddenly accelerated, startling the passengers onboard, finally avoiding the tragic outcome of a collision.

"Thank goodness, thank goodness." The co-pilot patted his chest, looked at the radar, and finally relaxed. He then contacted the ground staff to report the situation to Southern Airlines.

"Hmph, who is the little brat playing with me? If it weren't for the passengers, I'd let them admire the name of my Qiuming Airport flying ace." The captain sneered coldly, full of anger inside.

This situation is just like driving on the road, encountering those who don't follow traffic rules and drive recklessly. No one can stay calm.

This isn't merely veering off course!

This is outright provocation!

The captain quickly contacted the ground command center through the ground staff, suppressing his anger, and said to the command center, "This is Southern Airlines flight XXXXX at XX:XX o'clock, we've encountered an Air China flight deliberately provoking us, tailing us continuously. Please instruct us!"

The captain stifled his anger, pretending to speak calmly, but his teeth were grinding.

"What? A plane is tailing you? It's Air China?" The person at Luocheng Airport's command center was obviously shaken, continuing with anxiousness, "You must keep an eye on that flight. Just recently, that flight lost contact with the ground, suspected hijacking. Air China's internal situation is a mess now; you must maintain a safe distance to ensure nothing happens to that flight!"

The captain was suddenly dumbfounded, hijacking incident, lost contact with ground?

No wonder it's been following the plane I'm flying, guess they can't locate the airport. But asking me to ensure that flight's safety? Hell no!

This captain didn't continue the conversation with the ground personnel but angrily shut off communication. Damn it, I'm already cautiously avoiding that cursed flight, yet you're asking me to ensure its safety. Who ensures our flight's safety? At this moment, personnel at the ground command center received news that Jiang Cheng's flight passengers were fine, surprisingly happy. Just recently, Air China's flight lost all contact with the ground, scaring them greatly. Luckily, contact was reestablished, although it's tailing Southern Airlines, constantly at risk, but at least it shows the plane is still safe!

Upon receiving the news, the command center's managers immediately started calling Air China's leaders, while several airport leaders were already on standby, commanding Southern Airlines' flight through communication!

Though still furious, the captain of that flight, mindful of the hundreds of lives aboard the plane behind, took a defensive stance, fully following ground command center's instructions. Meanwhile, the command center was busy planning new routes for both planes; the airport halted all vehicle movements, with ambulances, fire trucks ready, prepared for any irregular situation.

"What, another plane needs to land? No, no, no, contact the pilots, ask them to wait above! Right now, the situation with one flight is critical!" The airport leader shouted distinctly to the command personnel over the phone, mainly worried about whether the plane was hijacked.

Unable to make contact, the situation remains dire, can't even manage other plane's landing issues?

Several Air China leaders also arrived at Luocheng Airport, communicating with airport leaders. Many police officers and medical personnel were present to prevent any fallout!

"How did this happen? Losing contact with a plane? If something really goes wrong, let's see what you all will do!" An Air China executive berated a leader at Luocheng Airport, who wiped sweat off his forehead, full of concern.

The others were naturally tense, knowing a mishap involving a plane represents hundreds of lives that cannot be overlooked!

Who knew the plane would lose contact? After getting a verbal lashing, the Air China leader hung up the phone; how could he foresee such an event, losing contact with a plane? Since taking a high position, he never encountered this! Meanwhile, other Air China leaders' expressions were grim; their only hope was that things don't go wrong on the plane, no issues during landing, so they won't have to resign in disgrace!

Up high, Air China's flight and Southern Airlines' flight maintained a safe distance, calmly heading towards the opposite direction of Luocheng Airport!

Jiang Cheng piloted the passenger plane, expression calm because he had become adept at flying it. Although he knew how to fly previously, he was somewhat rusty.

Looking through the window, Jiang Cheng glanced at the ground; now they were in the city area, presumably with phone signal availability, so he turned and asked a flight attendant behind him, "We've reached the city area, check if your phone has a signal?"

Upon hearing Jiang Cheng's words, the flight attendant immediately took out her phone, attempting to contact the ground command center!

The phone rang, the call connected, and the command center picked up the call from the flight attendant!

At the ground command center, numerous Air China leaders and airport leaders were already present, urging staff to contact the plane. However, the staff informed them they couldn't reach the lost contact plane.

This left the leaders helpless; failure to contact the lost plane meant they couldn't understand the situation aboard, which wasn't good!
