Reincarnated in the Alternate World, I'm A Demonic Lord as Well as a Villager

Chapter 263: Demon Realm cannot be without Lureya just like the West cannot be without

Demon Realm.

After resolving external troubles, Shami, Buwana, and Bone Frame returned to the Demon Realm together.

The goblin tribe was developing rapidly, and Shami decided to personally assess the current state of the goblin tribe.

Perhaps they already had a dozen deep, dark caves that even the Demon King wouldn't dare to enter easily.

As for Bone Frame, although he had learned necromancy, unlike the Demon King's resurrection technique, the skeletons revived by Bone Frame had a time limit; they would lose their vitality in about two hours.

In the Tomb of the Fallen Moon, Shami and Bone Frame selected 100 well-formed skeletons. Shami used the Demon King's resurrection technique to remove the stains from these skeletons while imprinting them with the aura of the demon race, successfully reviving 100 undead skeletons and bringing them into the Demon Realm.

After these undead skeletons were revived, their past memories would be erased, and their previous combat strength and abilities would disappear, turning them into ordinary skeleton soldiers.

Goblins + Bone Horses, whether in combat power or deterrent force, are top-notch. During battles on the plains, cavalry charges would have an overwhelming advantage against infantry.

Shami decided to preserve this type of unit, injecting his own magic power into Bone Frame's witchcraft to sustain the vitality of the thirty or so Bone Horses revived by Bone Frame.

[Bone Horse Cavalry·Goblins] would become a significant combat force for the goblin tribe.

After everyone returned to the Demon Realm, they headed straight for the goblins' stronghold.

West side of the Demon Realm. Plains. Goblin village.

Shami and Buwana arrived at the village and were immediately warmly welcomed by the goblins in the village.

"Mr. Buwana, welcome back."

"It's actually the Demon King himself!"

A few small goblins ran up to Shami, curiously circling around him.

Shami glanced around.

This was a medium-sized village, with a beautiful environment and orderly roads. Although the houses were mostly made of straw and wood, everything was present, including residences, blacksmith shops, herb shops, and warehouses.

Goblins could be seen everywhere in the village, busy with various tasks.

With just one glance, Shami saw goblins hammering at the blacksmith shop, female goblins drawing water by the well, goblins digging for herbs in the meadow, and the cheerful sounds of goblins echoing around the village...

"I always thought my Demon Realm was quite desolate, and the Demon King Castle was the liveliest place. But unexpectedly, this is the most bustling spot in the entire Demon Realm. From every angle, except that the living beings aren't humans but goblins, this is a genuine village."

Shami commented.

The goblins living here in the village couldn't be associated with those living in dark dens who only ambush female adventurers.

"Lord Demon King, what's outside the Demon Realm?"

Meanwhile, a small goblin clinging to Shami's leg looked up curiously at him.

"Uh, it's the non-Demon Realm areas."

Shami thought for a moment and explained.

"Alright, go practice your swordplay. Don't you want to become a goblin knight like me?"

Buwana patted the little goblin's head, and the small goblin trotted off.

"Lord Shami, let's take a walk further inside."

Buwana led Shami deeper into the village, and the goblins they passed by all stopped and gazed at Shami with longing eyes.

"Why do I feel like I might get goblin Laped here at any moment?"

Shami furrowed his brows and voiced his inner feelings.

Buwana explained.

"Because magic power flows within everyone in the village, they naturally have a sense of affinity and reverence for the Demon King."

Buwana continued to introduce the village's situation to Shami.

"Currently, one-third of the goblins in the village were revived using goblin crystals I found in the Demon Realm Deep Valley. The remaining younger goblins are the offspring of goblin breeding. However, goblins develop rapidly, and it won't be long before they, too, can become warriors guarding the Demon Realm."

Shami was somewhat surprised but then smiled with delight.

As expected, the goblins he personally revived using goblin crystals were even more concerned about the safety of the Demon Realm than the other Demon Envoys.

The village had a main road that ran north-south. In the middle of the main road, at the village center, was a square with a giant statue. The five-meter-tall, ivory-colored statue stood tiptoe, valiant and gallant, with eyes carrying a special charm, as if dancing elegantly.

Shami looked up excitedly.

"Every village places the embodiment of their beliefs at the center of the square for admiration. This must be me, right? But Buwana, you must have gotten it wrong. I have short hair. Even if long hair might enhance my appeal, don't go adding it to me without permission."

Buwana halted, awkwardly scratching his nose, and after a moment of silence, spoke.

"Actually, that statue is Miss Lureya."

Only then did Shami, looking up, notice the statue's long hair and pointed ears, his smile slowly fading, and he silently walked forward.

"Oh. There's really nothing much to see; I think I'll head back to the Demon King Castle."

"Lord Shami is getting jealous! Mr. Buwana, you're in trouble; Lord Shami is quite petty!"

Bone Frame anxiously fretted for Buwana.

"Lord Shami, if you wish, I can immediately add your statue next to Miss Lureya's!"
