Surviving These Unfair Scenarios [LITRPG - DIMENSION HOPPING]

Chapter 205 - No Matter What You Say I Can Fight Too

The battle between the Superior Dracling and the group of Teo, Li, alter Li, and Emir was proceeding in a very different manner from the other groups. Teo, with a cold, almost detached expression, had taken the initiative and was controlling the Dracling with ease.

He fired his sacred pistols with a rhythm that was both precise and relentless, each bullet a glowing projectile of holy energy that shot through the air and impacted the Dracling with the force of a small explosion. The Dracling, whose body was a monstrous, muscular sight, was trying to get close, but the barrage of bullets was too much.

In a moment, Teo gave a signal to alter Li, who immediately opened his grimoire and cast the spell [Physica Naguru] on him, creating a swirling, fire-like energy that shot out from the book and wrapped itself around Teo's body, boosting his power to an immense degree. The shots from his revolvers, which were already powerful, were now enough to keep the Dracling at bay, and although he couldn't damage it, he could feel its pain with every shot.

But it had not ended there. Li, seeing his counterpart's actions, also did the same, using his own spellbook to cast the same [Physica Naguru] spell, doubling the buff on Teo.

Teo, whose face was now filled with a maniacal, almost euphoric grin, was having a grand time.

"I don't even need to summon 'her'."

He said, his voice a low, confident whisper.

"I'm more than enough for something like this."

And he was right, his attacks had an advantage against cursed beings like the Dracling, and the buffs he had received were monstrous. Meanwhile, Li, who had been watching the scene unfold, had a small smile on his face… He remembered that this was the same strategy he and the Teo of his universe used to employ, at least until he died. The thought of it brought a wave of nostalgia to him, a bitter, but not unpleasant, memory of old times.

Teo's sacred shots were so powerful that each impact was a divine explosion that sent the Dracling flying back, leaving it unable to advance. The Dracling, which was a massive, muscular figure of obsidian and glowing red veins, was trying its best to get close, but the holy bullets were moving like guided missiles, not letting it. It was clear that it was only a matter of time before the monster was defeated by simple attrition, a rather anticlimactic end for such a powerful being.

However, there was someone who wasn't actively taking part in the battle… Emir, who was a small, fragile-looking boy, was standing behind them, completely out of place. He had no skills to contribute given the current situation, and his small body was a liability in this chaotic battle.

Teo, who was overconfident, saw this and decided to take a jab at the boy. He didn't have to concentrate much on his attacks; he just needed to pull the trigger and keep his eyes on the Dracling.

"What's the little guy's deal?"

He said, his voice as harsh as ever.

"He's just standing there. The transformation you showed the other day is useless if you can't even control it. I hate dead weight, and you, boy, are exactly that. How did you even survive this long?"

Emir, who was being criticized for something he knew was true, felt a wave of shame. He was a simple boy in a world of giants, and the words of Teo, though harsh, were not completely without merit, however...

"I am not useless!"

He screamed, his voice filled with a powerful conviction.

"I am not as strong as the others, but I have done my part! I have helped my team! I am not a burden!"

Teo, who was still firing his revolvers, let out a dry, sarcastic laugh.

"Helped your team?"

He said.

"With what? You're a liability. You're just a kid playing in a world that is too dangerous for you. You are the reason your teammates will eventually die trying to protect you. What have you ever done that can even be considered useful?"

The discussion continued, with Teo using every word in his arsenal to make Emir feel like a burden. Li, whose face was filled with a look of quiet disgust, did not say anything. He knew that the scenarios were not a place for a child like Emir, but he also knew that the boy was not a burden. He simply stood there, watching and listening, keeping his emotions in check.

Finally, after a long argument, Teo's forehead was filled with a massive vein, a sign of his immense frustration and annoyance.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

"Okay, you want to prove me wrong?"

He said, his voice a low, cold whisper.

"Then go ahead. Finish this thing. All by yourself. And then, and only then, will I take back everything I said."

And with that, Teo stopped firing his revolvers, made them disappear in a puff of white smoke, and with a powerful shove, he sent Emir stumbling forward. The Dracling, whose body was now a mess of bullet injuries and bruises, let out a furious, triumphant shriek. Its eyes, which were filled with a cold, savage hunger, were fixed on the small, defenseless boy, and it saw its chance to finally attack.

Emir seemed to be frozen in place, a look of pure terror on his face, while alter Li, who was watching from behind, looked at Li with a concerned expression. He knew his counterpart as he knew himself, he knew that he had no qualms with letting a useless teammate die, but this… letting a child die like this was too much.

But before he could say a word, Li, whose face was now filled with a determined, confident smile, spoke.

"Don't worry… You have no idea how terrifying that boy can be."

He said. Alter Li looked at him, surprised, and then looked at the Dracling, which was now just a few steps away from Emir, its claws extended and a demonic roar coming from its mouth.

The boy, however, did not move. He simply stood there, his body trembling, but with a look of pure, unadulterated determination on his face. He lifted both of his arms, and a small, intricate cube, a [Interdimensional Containment Cube], appeared in his hands. With tears in his eyes and a fury that was unnatural for a child, Emir screamed.

"I am not useless! I don't care what you said, I can fight too!"

And with that, he activated the cube… A massive, skeletal arm with claws as long as greatswords tore out from within it, a grotesque sight of bone and power that ripped a hole in reality. The Dracling, who was already wounded, was not prepared for this and was unable to react in time. The arm, with a powerful, earth-shattering blow, seized the Dracling, its massive claws digging into the monster's flesh with a sickening crunch. The arm squeezed its prey with a bone-shattering force that made the monster spit out a torrent of black blood from its mouth in a final act of defiance.

Immediately after, a massive goat-like head with a pair of twisted horns and a crown of fire emerged from the cube. Its jaws, which were filled with teeth as sharp as daggers, opened and, with a single, brutal motion, it swallowed the Dracling whole... The grotesque spectacle was over in a matter of seconds.

After the grotesque spectacle, the creature vanished, leaving Emir with the cube in his hands, his body trembling with a mixture of exhaustion and an adrenaline rush. He was breathing heavily, trying to calm his shaking body.

Teo, whose face was a mix of shock and awe, simply put his hands on his head.

"Holy shit… Was that a Great Demon? Haha!"

He exclaimed before he let out a low, amused chuckle. He was genuinely surprised that the boy had done it, and with such a powerful, terrifying skill no less. Emir, whose body was still shaking, turned to him, his face still filled with anger.

"You...!"

He started, but before he could finish, Teo, whose face was now filled with a genuine, warm smile, cut him off.

"I take back everything I said."

Teo said while approaching the kid.

"You're not a burden. You're a monster, and a damn powerful one at that."

He then took a step back.

"But you're still far from what you can be."

He said in a gentle, fatherly tone. Emir looked at him, his face filled with confusion.

"What do you mean?"

He asked. Teo, whose face now had a mischievous, almost sinister grin, let out a dry, sarcastic laugh.

"I'm going to tell you a little secret... Just as Li, Drake, and Kazue have their counterparts in this world, so do you. And your counterpart is one of Adam Scholar's Generals, a monster among monsters. His nickname is the 'King of Monsters', and believe me, his power is no exaggeration. I personally saw him single-handedly destroy a ranked team, and the key to his power lies in the same thing you used yesterday."

The man said without losing his smile.

"My 'Dark Galactron Claw'?"

Emir asked, his voice a whisper.

"Yes… I guess. He uses a powerful artifact to transform into titanic monsters, but he has control over all of them. You, on the other hand, have no control. You just released it and went berserk for what they told me."

A dark, dangerous smile appeared on Teo's face after saying that, but he hid it as fast as he could. Emir, whose body was still shaking, didn't notice it. The man then took a step closer to the boy and whispered.

"But I can teach you how to control it."

Emir was shocked. He had no idea how Teo, who was a complete stranger, could possibly know how to do that.

"But how...?"

He asked.

"I have experience in taming these kinds of entities."

Teo said, a cold, unfeeling grin on his face.

"I did it with the Undead Empress, and I can teach you how to do the same. You can control the essences of your monsters and bend them to your will. I know you can do it, after all, the Emir of this universe did it, so you can do it too."

Emir, who was not used to receiving praise, simply nodded. As innocent as he was, he had no reason to say no. And Teo, whose face was filled with a triumphant grin, looked at him.

"Perfect. But first, we have to find the others. They are probably near Dravhark, so we have to go there."

He then stood up and gave the order to leave. As they walked, Emir looked at his hands, a feeling of confusion and a slight strangeness washing over him.

A question began to form in his mind: how did Teo know that he used monster essences to transform? He had never told anyone. He tried to think back, but his memories from the last day when he transformed were still foggy. He dismissed the thought, thinking that perhaps he had said it and had simply forgotten, and moved on… The others were moving at a much faster pace, and he had to catch up. The last thing he wanted was to be left behind again.
