"My lady, you didn't answer the question. Is your husband the best in the world or not?" Austin asked as he leaned closer to her lips.

Lina's cheeks became flushed and her heartbeat quickened, watching Austin close the distance between their faces. Then she said, "Well, he did chase away the estate's biggest headache without lifting a sword."

"Oh, he sounds like an amazing guy."

"He's more than amazing. He's smart, affectionate, and he always calls his wife beautiful."

"Well, since my wife is certainly beautiful, it's only expected of me to address her as such."

"Thank you, hubby."

"You're welcome my lady, but don't you think I deserve a reward for being an amazing husband?"

"Hmm, and what kind of reward would you like to have?"

"I believe you know what I want." Austin's lips were now just a breath away from hers, but this time, Lina smiled and her gaze flickered between his eyes and his lips.

Mira had come to the courtyard with a tray of snacks and juice in her hand, hoping she could surprise Austin and Lina with a light late-night treat.

But just as she turned to leave, Austin's voice suddenly rang out behind her.

"My lady, how long do you intend to hide behind that tree?"

"Huh?" Mira jolted and her cute pointy ears twitched in surprise.

She slowly turned around and noticed Austin staring in her direction.

"Care to join us? Or are you planning to stand there spying on us all night?"

Seeing that she'd been caught red-handed, Mira sheepishly stepped out from behind the tree with a cute pout on her lips. "I wasn't spying on the two of you."

"Oh, really? Then what was my beautiful wife doing behind the tree?" Austin asked as he beckoned for her to sit next to him, and Mira did what he wanted.

"I was just bringing you both some snacks... but then I saw you two k-kissing."

"So, you decided to hide and watch until we were done?"

"No, I was just about to leave."

"Oh? So you didn't like seeing us kiss?"

"No, I didn't say that."

"So you did like seeing us kiss then?"

"Yes… No! I mean—"

"Ah, I get it now. You'd rather have me kiss you instead, right?" Austin asked, as he gently placed a hand on her cheek.

Mira opened her mouth to respond, but before she could speak, Austin leaned in and kissed her.

"No, wait—" she began to say, but she made no effort to pull away from him, and just like that, their lips met, making Mira melt instantly at the sensation of feeling his lips on hers.

The feeling was simply out of this world and her heart fluttered as she let out a soft moan when they finally pulled apart.

"Are you happy now?" Austin teasingly asked and Mira nodded as her gaze remained fixed on the ground.

Austin also noticed that her cheeks and ears were very red and he couldn't help but smile at how she had reacted to her first kiss.

Of course, it was also Austin's first kiss, not just in this world but also in his previous life, so he felt really ecstatic to have shared his first kiss with not just one but two beautiful elves.

He was grinning from ear to ear and was struggling really hard not to let his wives see the goofy smile on his lips.

Instead, he leaned back against the tree trunk and Lina snuggled with his right arm, resting her head on his shoulder while her fingers clung tightly to his sleeves, and Mira was curled around his left with her head laid softly on his chest.

But one of her fingers slowly traced the shape of a small heart right above his heart, beneath his robe.

Strangely enough, ever since Mira had accidentally touched his chest and abs, she'd been obsessed with the feel of it, and tonight was no exception.

Meanwhile, the night wind continued to gently caress their skin as neither of them said anything but simply stayed where they were, enjoying the warmth of being close to one another.
