Supreme Game: Antimagic Apocalypse

Chapter 46: Class Upgrade?

The return journey was not without obstacles.

However, as a level 9, Raizel cleared them with ease, aided by the five hunters.

[ EXP: 7500/10000 ]

By the time they reached the outskirts of the forest, Raizel had gathered enough experience points for his level-up.

Now, all that remained was to deliver the herbs to the villagers, completing the mission successfully.

Ahead, Green Leaf Village stood in the distance, its silhouette casting long shadows under the setting crimson sun.

This small journey had taken them around six to seven hours.

Upon seeing the familiar village gates, the men and women sighed in relief.

They had made it back without a single casualty—without any harm.

It was unbelievable.

And they all knew why.

It was all thanks to one person—the young mage.

Casting a grateful look at the young mage, they all stepped inside the village, welcomed by a warm atmosphere.

Raizel watched this calmly, but his eyes were fixed ahead, waiting for the familiar notifications to appear before him.

And then, they did.

After carefully going through all the notifications, Raizel cheered internally.

He had leveled up, and with it came a boon of benefits.

Now, he had an attack spell. Though its damage wasn't particularly high, it had the ability to dispel magic from long-range targets or disrupt enemies in close combat.

If combined with his sword, the spell could prove incredibly useful.

With a satisfied smirk, he distributed his 10 attribute points and savored the intoxicating feeling of getting stronger.

Satisfied with his progress, Raizel prepared to log out of the game.

But just as he was about to, another notification flashed before his eyes.

[ You have received a Class Upgrade Trial. Do you accept the Trial? Yes/No ]

"A Class Upgrade Trial? So they really do exist?" Raizel murmured, finding it almost unbelievable.

However, now wasn't the right time. He had to delay it till the Guild tests are over.

With that plan in mind, he immediately chose to exit the game.

Under the stunned gazes of the villagers, his figure vanished in an instant.

The women rubbed their eyes in disbelief, struggling to comprehend the incredible magic they had just witnessed.

"Looks like Sir Mage had important work to do... We can only wait to express our gratitude..." one woman murmured.

---

Raizel reappeared in his room as if he had teleported.

He gazed outside the window and saw that it was still dawn, meaning he had a few hours before the Guild Tests at the Apex Guild branch.

The tests were scheduled for 10 AM sharp, so any delay would be unacceptable.

He began preparing to leave early since the branch was quite a distance from their house.

He changed into a modest yet flexible outfit—a simple shirt and pants—giving him a presentable but comfortable appearance.

After that, he washed his face and organized his belongings, making sure to pack his cash and documents into his bag.

"Son, you're already done preparing?" his mother asked, surprised by his early activity, as if he were heading to an important interview.

"Yes, Mother," Raizel replied with a smile, slinging his bag over his shoulder like a scholar.

"You need money?" His father appeared behind her, smiling with pride.

"No need… I have $10,000 in my account," Raizel replied calmly.

"Wow. Where did my son get so much money?" his mother asked in a gentle yet curious tone.

His father was curious too. Ten thousand dollars was no small amount. He would have to work hard for two months to earn that much. So where did his son get the money?

Raizel smirked and answered, "I just sold one spellbook to a customer. Nothing else."

"Huh? One spellbook for $10,000? That's incredible!"

His father was shocked speechless.

Was it really that easy to earn that much money?

While he had to work tirelessly on construction sites for days to earn that amount, his son had made it in a single sale.

But he wasn't ignorant—he understood that players in Supreme Game often risked their lives in dangerous situations to make money.

Recalling this, he placed a firm hand on Raizel's shoulder and said, "Son, if you want to be the man of the house, you must learn to take care of yourself first. Because one day, the rest of the family will be depending on you." His tone was serious, teaching Raizel the true value of life—never to gamble it away carelessly.

Raizel felt the rough calluses on his father's hand and nodded. "I'll remember that, Father. Don't worry too much."

Raizel's father gave him a firm nod, clearly satisfied with his son's maturity. His mother, however, still looked a bit worried.

"Just be careful out there, okay? And eat something before you go," she reminded him.

Raizel chuckled. "Yes, Mom. I'll grab something on the way."

With that, he slung his bag over his shoulder and stepped outside, feeling the weight of the day ahead.

The Guild Tests were a major milestone—passing them would open the doors to higher ranks, better opportunities, and wealth.

As he walked toward the Apex Guild branch, he couldn't help but wonder—just what kind of challenges awaited him inside?
