Supreme Game: Antimagic Apocalypse

Chapter 79: Rookies Gathering

Raizel appeared in the real world in the morning as scheduled, preparing to check in at the Apex Guild.

He quickly took a shower and freshened up, changing into a lightweight combat outfit of black and red colors.

Standing before the mirror, he narcissistically admired his looks for a moment.

It was true—Raizel had a naturally handsome face, and now, as he leveled up, his features were beginning to show their full splendor.

It wouldn't be long before women started falling for him based on looks alone.

Putting that aside, Raizel headed to the secret door inside his room.

< Please wait for verification >

< Verifying... >

< Verified as Rookie Member, Raizel Ashblade >

< Welcome! Sir Raizel Ashblade. Where would you like to go, Sir? >

"To the nearest Apex Guild Branch," Raizel replied casually to the female voice assistant.

Though he hadn't used it before, his sharp mind quickly grasped how to operate the Teleportation Node.

< Location confirmed. You have been charged $1000 from your bank account. You may proceed now. >

"Huh? What the fu*k? This thing isn't free? And how did they link it to my bank account?"

"Wait… does that mean they also send money to my bank?"

He quickly checked his phone, ignoring the blue teleportation gate that had opened just behind the door amidst the darkness.

< Sir, you should hurry up. The Gate will be closing shortly. >

The mechanical female voice echoed a calm but firm warning.

Ignoring it for the moment, Raizel checked his bank balance, and his eyes widened as he saw the shining text: $20,003,000.

Instantly, his eyes lit up, blazing with exhilaration.

It wasn't just excitement—it was freedom.

While it wasn't an astronomical sum compared to true wealth, it was more than enough to solve his family's current financial problems.

Without hesitation, he transferred $5 million to his father's account, attaching a simple note: "Use it freely on whatever you wish."

With the transaction done, Raizel turned to the portal—but found it had already closed.

"Tch," he clicked his tongue in annoyance.

Like a nouveau riche, unfazed by money now, he initiated the Teleportation Gate once more.

This time it worked, but a new warning appeared:

< Remaining Usage: 1/3 >

So he could only use the Teleportation Node three times a day.

Realizing he couldn't afford to waste another chance, Raizel stepped through the shimmering blue portal without further delay.

Swoosh!

The gate vanished with a soft buzz; and so did Raizel's figure.

When his vision returned, he found himself standing atop a circular, glowing platform.

"Get moving… get moving," a lazy voice called from the sidelines.

"Hey, lazy ass! Why aren't you moving?!" the same voice suddenly exploded in rage, thunderous like a beast.

Raizel turned his gaze toward the source: a tall man with a rough attitude glaring at him.

Without a word, Raizel stepped off the platform calmly.

No sooner had he moved than a blue surge of light flashed again, revealing another person equipped with adventuring gear. A fellow player or guild member, Raizel guessed.

Which meant, he was in the right place.

He took a moment to look around.

The environment clicked into place in his memory. He now stood on the ground floor of the Apex Guild branch.

People bustled all around; some going out on missions, others talking with staff. Among them were junior members, senior ranks, and fully uniformed guild personnel handling logistics.

Without wasting more time, Raizel scanned the hall for the Newbies Section, his first destination.

But after looking around for a bit, Raizel found nothing conclusive—only a few irritated stares from the busy guild members.

Just as he turned to head toward the reception desk to ask for directions, a man approached him.

"Hey, junior, what are you looking for?" the man asked with a friendly smile.

He was slim, with soft features and a kind demeanor.

"I'm looking for the Rookie Section. I'm part of the newest batch," Raizel replied, deciding to trust the man.

The man nodded in realization. "Ah, I guessed as much. Head up to the 10th floor. That's where the rookies are gathering."

"10th floor… Got it. Thanks!"

With a quick nod of gratitude, Raizel made his way straight to the lift.

The man watched him go, a puzzled look on his face.

"That's odd… Why did my mana fluctuate so wildly around him?" he murmured to himself, brows furrowed.

10th Floor.

A sprawling, well-furnished space designed specifically for recruits. Advanced facilities lined the area—training equipment, lounge spaces, briefing stations, and even a few aircraft parked near an open hangar bay that looked out into the sky.

A few young people moved around the place.

Some stood nervously, glancing at others. Some standing tall with elegance and confidence.

Among the small crowd were familiar faces: the sharp-eyed black-haired girl Navarna Hazelton, the quiet and curious Nina, and several other young men and women clad in high-quality gear, each one likely backed by noble families or powerful sponsors. Nine in total.

But among them, one presence stood out more than the rest—Cecilia Rosenberg, Raizel's supposed friend… and former love interest.

Her appearance was truly striking. Long, flowing hair the color of blooming blue roses cascaded down her back. Her brows were elegant, like delicate petals, and her skin glowed with a soft, moonlit fairness. With a heart-shaped face and lips painted a natural, tender red, she radiated both beauty and grace. The tightly fitted combat outfit she wore accentuated her slender figure and full chest, enhancing her allure even further.

Yet, beneath all that beauty was a sharp and unyielding aura—one that warned others not to approach carelessly.

Still, that didn't stop the young men around her from falling into a trance, openly admiring her. Some even found themselves drooling without realizing it. But none dared approach her. Everyone knew who she was—Cecilia Rosenberg, a direct descendant of the prestigious Rosenberg family of Megacity 17.

Cecilia frowned in silent irritation, casting a sidelong glance at the gawking crowd. She turned her attention to the main entrance instead, gently fixing the single white flower braided into her hair.

She looked like she was waiting for someone. That alone sparked whispers among the others, piquing their curiosity.

Navarna, standing not far away, had already figured it out. She quietly glanced at the empty space in their group and gave a faint smirk.

And just then, the glass entrance doors swung open with a melodious chime, drawing everyone's attention.

Stepping through was a young man with striking white hair.

At first glance, he looked simple—his gear was minimal, and he didn't wear anything flashy. But his posture was confident, his gaze steady, and the way he carried himself in his black-and-red combat outfit made it clear—he was no ordinary player.

A few murmurs stirred in the crowd as eyes turned toward him.

Raizel glanced around and then spotted a familiar figure.

"Huh, Cecilia… You're here too!"
