Supreme Game: Antimagic Apocalypse

Chapter 93: Level 15

Raizel picked up the drop and glanced around.

"Well.. That was manageable. But if stronger ones are deeper in… I'll need to be sharper."

He didn't want to summon his Sword yet. Not until he had a clearer grasp of the environment. Using it now could attract attention—and he had no clue who might be watching.

Just as he moved forward, he heard distant voices. Multiple footsteps, echoing with laughter and chatter.

He ducked behind a tree and peered through the leaves.

A group of five adventurers came into view. They looked well-armed—swords, axes, bows, enchanted gear. Most likely a mid-level squad from a guild. One of them pointed toward the direction Raizel had come from.

"Look, fresh blood," the man laughed. "Someone already made a kill here."

Another one sniffed the air. "Still warm. They must be close."

Raizel frowned, his grip tightening on his spear.

These weren't just hunters. They were robbers. Or could be bloodthirsty killers.

And they were tracking him.

But Raizel ignored the group of men and ventured deeper into the wilderness in search of prey.

His Convergence Spear dripped with fresh blood as he targeted a Tusk Bull, driving the weapon in a swift thrust into its belly.

Its hide was tough, but against Raizel's spear, it might as well have been paper.

"Rawrr..."

Blood gushed out as the beast let out a pained roar, its essence rapidly being drained away.

Moments later, the creature collapsed, reduced to nothing but a skeletal husk.

Raizel noted the boost in stamina and experience points—then silently turned, already heading toward his next target.

Raizel moved deeper into the wilderness, where the trees were twisted and the ground pulsed faintly with raw magical energy. The further he strayed from the safety of the city's borders, the more dangerous and chaotic the world became.

But Raizel wasn't scared. He needed this. After everything with Violetta, Camilla, and the attention he was receiving, his mind needed clarity—and hunting beasts was the perfect solution.

The first foe that challenged him was a Crimson-Tail Lupin, a beast known for its speed and corrosive spit. It leapt from the treetops, jaws wide open.

Raizel didn't flinch.

The moment it lunged, his Convergence Spear rotated, releasing a faint hum. With a half-step to the left, he evaded its bite, then spun with deadly precision.

"Shrrrkkk!"

The tip of the spear tore through the beast's ribcage. Its corrosive blood splashed, sizzling against the rocks, but none touched Raizel. The Crimson-Tail shrieked, thrashed, then went limp. As its body crumpled, Raizel's status screen flickered.

With newfound refreshment and strength, Raizel began his grind once again. He was determined to reach level 15 by today.

Still it wasn't fast enough for his current needs. But he would have to make do with it for now. The situation hadn't worsened yet.

Around noon, a fog settled over the terrain, signaling the territory of a Fogmaw Panther—a beast that could manipulate illusions. Raizel narrowed his eyes, aware his senses could be deceived.

Branches rustled to the left. Raizel didn't look. He heard a faint pad behind him, felt a rush of mana to the right.

Three copies?

No. Two illusions. One real.

He struck.

The spear shot backward like a bolt, catching the invisible beast mid-air. The illusions dispersed instantly, and the real panther screamed before collapsing.

Raizel muttered, "Illusions won't save you."

[+910 EXP | Essence Absorbed]

With practiced ease, he moved on, wiping dusts from his forehead. His eyes burned with crimson intent, and his spear pulsed faintly, drinking the energy of each fallen creature.

By afternoon, he approached a watering hole swarmed with Emberhorn Gazeks—stag-like beasts whose antlers emitted fire. They were known to attack intruders in groups.

Raizel walked in anyway.

The first gazek let out a low, threatening whistle. Then, three others lowered their heads, fire flaring between their antlers.

Boom!

Explosions erupted around him as molten shots launched through the air. Raizel rolled behind a boulder, eyes narrowing. He couldn't afford to get surrounded.

So, he activated Antimagic Field, that nullifed that magical power in an instant.

He lunged out, his spear glowing faintly red.

The first gazek charged. Raizel met it head-on, ducked below its antlers, and stabbed upward into its throat.

The next two came from the sides. He yanked the spear out, twirled it around and deflected one of their antlers, then used the momentum to leap and stab the second gazek in the heart.

"Thud."

The third one retreated, wounded. But Raizel didn't show mercy. His spear flashed like lightning—one thrust, one kill.

[Stats Increased]

After the distribution of stat points once again, he felt it—his body was growing stronger.

His stamina surged, his strikes were more efficient, and his mind clearer.

He rested only briefly, then moved toward a small ravine he had marked on the map earlier.

What he found was more than he bargained for.

A Thunderhide Snake lay coiled on the rocks, its body armored in jagged scales, crackling faintly with lightning. A silver crest adorned its forehead—a sign of high-rank status.

Raizel's eyes sharpened as hs murmured, "An Elite beast…"

The massive Snake uncoiled with a hiss, its tail whipping through the air with a deafening crack. The moment Raizel stepped forward, it fired a bolt of electricity from its eyes.

He rolled, but the blast grazed his shoulder. Pain surged, but he gritted his teeth. His crimson aura intensified.

Time to go all out.

Activating the Red Berserker, he was expamded to small Red giant.

The Spear in his hand extended slightly, humming violently with stored Antimagic energy. Raizel's hair fluttered from the surge of force.

He dashed in.

The Snake hussed, tail slashing again, but this time Raizel caught it with his spear and flung it aside.

The snake beast turned to bite, but he struck first—jamming the spear into its side and releasing the built-up energy.

"Crack!"

A radiant explosion burst from the impact point. The Snake shrieked, lightning coursing wildly through its own body. It thrashed, but Raizel didn't stop. His movements were clean, precise.

Another thrust—right through the neck.

The Snake beast twitched violently, then collapsed.

Raizel stood still, watching the body dissolve into shimmering fragments. His breath was heavy, but his gaze was calm.

He wiped his spear, then sat by a boulder to rest.

The wind picked up, carrying the scent of blood and ozone. The forest was quiet now, and the sun had begun to dip into the horizon.

He distributed his attribute points once again, then prepared to return to town.

He had gathered a lot of crafting materials for potions and weapons, along with some edible carcasses of magical beasts.

He planned to sell them once he got back to the city.

With that thought in mind, Raizel began to sprint at full speed, his agility now five times greater than that of an average person.

His movement blurred through the wilderness, weaving through bushes and slippery slopes with practiced ease. His high intelligence enhanced his perception, allowing him to react swiftly to his surroundings.

Some hunters and adventurers nearby heard a sudden whoosh as something darted past them.

Startled, they tensed up, wondering what had just flown by.

Very soon, he crossed the outskirts of the Wilderness, not even sparing a glance at the transport vehicles stationed outside.

Raizel knew he could travel faster on foot than the caravans.

After ten minutes, he reached the city gate where he had departed earlier.

He entered without issue, the guards simply watching him pass by without concern.

This was a Free Trade City, so there wasn't much need for verification at the gate.

However, as a result, the internal security was extremely strict to ensure no disturbances disrupted the flow of commerce.

Raizel headed straight to the market to sell his goods—mainly the useless items he didn't need. The rest, especially the valuable materials, he planned to sell in the real world for money.

Still, Raizel earned 2,000 bronze coins from the goods he sold—enough for an ordinary family to live comfortably for a whole month.

Satisfied, he made his way back to the inn.

As he stepped inside, the familiar scent of roasted meat and old wood filled the air. The dim lighting from oil lamps gave the place a warm, rustic feel. At first glance, he spotted Lam sitting quietly at a table, her face illuminated by the soft glow of a nearby lamp.

She seemed lost in thought, unmoving—until her eyes met his.

"Sir, you're back!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with relief.

Raizel gave a small nod and walked over, sitting across from her.

"Were you waiting for me? What's the matter?" he asked calmly.
