Witch Aiko observed what they were doing.
The Southern Sect was the only peaceful one, but they still didn't touch the food after Aiko murmured about the poison.
Next to them was the Western Sect. While their forests and plains burned, their cities stayed mostly intact thanks to the Dragons, so it was more peaceful than the rest of them.
The Eastern Sect was in panic mode as they were trying to defend the empire so that they could collect more young Disciples, but they were struggling against the stampede.
Their Arrays were not as prominent as those of other Sects, and their Formations were limited in number due to missing flags.
The only redeeming feature about the Eastern Sect was their laziness and overall lack of discipline. This allowed most Beasts to escape their pens and return to the wild.
The last one and the worst one was the Northern Sect...
-----
"Raise that Array, prepare the Formations!" One Elder commanded on the ramparts. They were trying to hold the stampede.
"I can't allow you to do that." The Holy deer snapped his finger as lights bombarded all the carefully prepared flags and Arrays. Most of his lights were blocked, but the damage was already done.
"We can't return empty-handed, and while she did say to prioritise the North..." The Nightmare Owl shook his head. "The Eastern and Western sides are not doing well either."
"I never imagined that a lonely Fox would be able to carve fear into this lonesome island." The Fire Bird Queen was impressed by how much damage the Fox was able to cause without actually being around.
"We still have work to do, so stop chatting." The Earthen Elephant didn't really want to be here, but the promise was a promise, and he would fulfil it. "Just so you know, I won't be joining you in the other capitals."
"That's the most obvious part, but we also don't have to go there." The Holy Deer shook his head.
"The West burns with bright flames, so the Fire Bird Queen can just stoke the flames, while the East is crumbling by itself, by the maddened Beasts. The Nightmare Owl can just induce madness slightly more, and you have a recipe for destruction." The Holy Deer shook his head. That Fox was way too scary, preparing everything in such a short time.
Unbeknownst to them, Aiko did not plan this at all!
It was the mess-up of the Western Sect that burned the plains and forest, and the laziness of the Eastern Sect for their Beast to run so rampant!
"Should we greet her?" The Nightmare Owl wanted to see what that Fox was up to.
"Who knows. She is still inside that Northern Capital, so we can visit it, given a few steps." The Holy Deer shrugged.
"I will be going~" The Nightmare Owl hummed.
"After the East." The Holy Deer reminded him.
"Tsk, you are no fun." The Nightmare Owl snorted and sped up to the East. He would deal with those guys before visiting that gorgeous Fox!
-----
Witch Aiko was amused by how everyone was losing their minds.
And all of this only because of the idiocy of some Fox Elders and the stupidity and greed of the humans.
On one side, Witch Aiko quite marvelled at the fact that they were suffering so much, and they had none to blame but themselves.
"Blood Fox..." For some reason, Blood Fox was overly enthusiastic about Aiko.
"Aaaa~" Right now, the Blood Fox was feeding Aiko some strawberries.
"I like meat more..." Witch Aiko whined.
"A more balanced diet will make you even more beautiful." The Blood Fox licked her lips.
"You think I need that?" Witch Aiko waved a hand in front of her mouth. She definitely didn't need more beauty!

"It's also delicious~" The Blood Fox hummed, trying to entice Witch Aiko.
"Ugh." Witch Aiko was already tired of fruits.
The Blood Fox bit into the strawberry and came close to Aiko.
"What are y-" Witch Aiko's lips were sealed by the Blood Fox and strawberry, making Aiko bite into it.
Witch Aiko panted slightly. She never expected strawberries to be so hot-
'No, that's not right.' Witch Aiko shook her head. She was supposed to be the one doing the teasing.
"Behave! We need to deal with this!" Witch Aiko was not as smart as Moon Aiko, so it took her a while to go through the whole Contract.
"But, Mistress. I'm lonely~" The Blood Fox tugged on her clothing.
"Can you stop?!" The Northern Sect Leader shouted.
"Why?" Witch Aiko tilted her head as she munched on the next strawberry that the Blood Fox offered.
She was still unwilling to be fed like 'that'.
"Tens of thousands of humans are dying each second, and you are flirting here?!" The Northern Sect Leader was upset at that question. No, he was completely livid!
"What does that have to do with me? I'm not a human, you know?" Witch Aiko tilted her again. "Not to mention, you were the one who sent over humans to capture my Foxes, so it's natural for me to retaliate." She shrugged like this was not her issue.
"You-!" The Northern Sect Leader was ready to beat this Fox up!
"Sect Leader!" A new Disciple barged in, making the Northern Sect Leader completely flip out.
"WHAT IS IT THIS TIME?! DID THEY BREACH OUR DEFENCES?! DID THEY SLAUGHTER THE POPULATION OF THE CAPITAL?!" The Northern Sect Leader roared.
The Disciple was stunned, and he didn't know what to say for a moment.
He then responded. "Since the Sect Leader already knows what is happening, this Disciple will join the battle." He cupped his fists before disappearing.
"Huh...?" The Northern Sect Leader froze. It took him a while to process this new information, when-
*SPLURT*
His mouth turned into a fountain as he spat out buckets of blood before passing out.
"Sect Leader!" The Disciples hurriedly carried the Sect Leader away before the fight got here.
"I wonder if we should leave, Sect Leader." One Elder asked the Southern Sect Leader.
"You don't mind if we go home, right?" Wu Tao laughed heartily. He was wondering what Aiko would be able to do with the Contract, but he was not curious enough to stay in this war zone.
"Sure, it's not like I have any business with you." Witch Aiko shrugged.
"Auch. How mean." Wu Tao chuckled before his entourage left the place.
The Eastern Sect also rushed outside, and so did the Western Sect.
"The party is over?" Witch Aiko thought it would still take a while for them to sort things out, but it seems most of them gave up on her and would rather run away?
Then, suddenly, an Owl barged inside.
"Did you miss me~" The Nightmare Owl happily barged in and transformed into a handsome human.
"Not really." Witch Aiko shrugged at him.
"Ugh. How lovely~" The Nightmare Owl already lost his mind when it came to this Fox, so much so that even Aiko felt repulsed!
"What do you want?" Witch Aiko wondered what this dude might want from her...
"Nothing~" The Nightmare Owl hummed happily. Just attention was enough for him to feel happy.
"Get a mate." Witch Aiko actually felt creeped out by him!
"Nope, nobody can compare with you." The Nightmare Owl laughed.
"Yeah, yeah." Witch Aiko rolled her eyes. She couldn't believe that this guy was trying to woo her!
"I'm here too." Another handsome individual walked in with grace and a noble air. This was the Holy Deer.
"Did you change?" Witch Aiko tilted her head. The Nightmare Owl had jet black, somewhat long hair, while the Holy Deer had short, golden-white hair.
"Since we became friends, there is no point in hiding our true selves. Especially for this horn-dog." The Holy Deer shrugged. His body was even more well-chiselled than before, making his handsomeness akin to that of Immortals.
"Seriously, so much work." The Fire Bird Queen walked in too, feeling indignant that she had to do so much work. She had beautiful red-blazing hair. Her hair was long, and it periodically changed colours like they were made out of true flames.
While the Nightmare Owl had a black outfit with purple threads, the Holy Deer had a white outfit with blue threads. The Fire Bird Queen had a blazing-black dress, like the silk itself was still burning.
Witch Aiko marvelled at their beauty and wondered if her group would also one day become so outrageous...
Shaking her head gently, she asked them again. "What are you doing here?"
"That guy was shocked at her meticulous nature, while I just wanted to stare at you." The Nightmare Owl pointed at the Holy Deer before openly observing the Fox.
The Blood Fox covered Aiko. She was quite upset that their moment was interrupted by these shameless Beasts.
"I didn't do anything." Witch Aiko was confused.
"Don't worry, I understand. If you came with such a meticulous plan, you wouldn't want to share the inner workings with others." The Holy Deer slowly nodded his head.
"But-" Witch Aiko tried to defend herself, but she was interrupted again.
"Don't worry, I won't pry, since you don't want to tell us anything, you can keep the secret until you know us better." The Holy Deer smiled.
"..." Witch Aiko was confused. It felt like everyone was ignoring her on purpose!
"Who said that I want to get to know her?!" The Fire Bird Queen retorted at him.
"You were the one pushing this meeting forward." The Holy Deer rolled his eyes.
"Stop." Witch Aiko finally couldn't bear it and stopped them.
"What are you talking about?" Aiko pointed at the Nightmare Owl.
"There was no such plan!" Aiko pointed at the Holy Deer.
"You always disliked me." Aiko pointed at the Fire Bird Queen.
"..." The trio was stunned, and they didn't know what to say or do.
The Nightmare Owl was not the best at explaining things, so he just opened and closed his lips.
The Holy Deer was stunned, and he still didn't believe that this was not meticulously prepared by her!
The Fire Bird Queen coughed awkwardly. She liked this Fox, but it would be against her nature to say that openly, since her race was a natural predator against Foxes...
The Blood Fox observed the situation and felt like there was something amiss.
"Seriously." Witch Aiko crossed her arms. Her ample chest that couldn't compare to Moon Aiko's squished and jiggling sensually, making them wonder if this was the same Fox that they met in that forest...
