Sophia and Ari went ahead and started working on the tropical island that the two had come up with while traveling through the desert. Using lots of sand and the palm trees they borrowed from the oasis city, they managed to create a lovely island in Kel's ocean and spent the day there relaxing together.

"Alright, now that Sophia and Ari have decided to spend the entire day flirting with each other, should we do the same?" After the two in question left for their tropical island, Maya went to Anna in the cottage's living room and smiled at her.

"I don't like the way you worded that." The princess stared back at her.

"Come on, we both know that's exactly what's going to happen. Knowing them, they just can't help it." The cat-girl shrugged. "It's mostly unintentional, after all."

"Is intentionally flirting with each other the correct answer then, though?"

"It wouldn't be fair for them to be the only ones having fun, either, right?" Maya tilted her head. "Not to mention that they literally said back in the desert that they're going to make a romantic tropical island to flirt on in order to tease us. The mostly unintentional part I mentioned might not even be the case this time."

"Well, I can't really argue with that. Though, didn't we start it back then?"

"Also, all of us are constantly flirting with each other in some constellation, so not doing it would be way weirder. We're not going to have sex with each other, or anything like that, so all is fine~." She gave her a thumbs-up. "In fact, I found an exciting movie from the sisters' old world from which I learned a lot of interesting things that I'm going to use on and or with Sophia tonight, so we're definitely doing a different kind of flirting."

"I'm not sure if the first part is a good excuse, but the rest, uhh… kind of is?" Anna paused for a moment. "Also, I'd like to borrow that movie, please. Maybe there's something nice for Ari and me in there~."

"Oh, Ari's going to love this movie for lots of reasons." The cat-girl smirked at her.

"Ohh!" She liked the sound of that. "Alright, let's go! Are we going to start on our lagoon now that the two are working on their island?"

"That was the plan!" Maya reacted with a hearty nod.

"Okay!"

"Before that, we need to change into bikinis!" The cat-girl energetically clapped her hands.

"Why…?" As the tigers were the least horny girls in the group, even though that didn't exactly mean much in the grand scheme of things, the princess looked rather confused.

"We're going to spend the day on the beach working on a lagoon surrounded by palm trees and the ocean! Bikinis are the official work attire for such places! They're mandatory!"

"You just want to have something to look at, don't you?" Anna just stared at her.

"That's a not insignificant portion of my reasoning, yes." The honest cat-girl smiled back at her while nodding. She didn't look at the tiger's face, though. "Mood definitely is the driving factor, though! Babysitting Sari aside, if you're at the beach with a beautiful girl, or multiple of them, a bikini is the way to go!"

"You've had worse excuses to ogle girls in the past, I guess." Anna scratched her cheek. "I also got a new bikini not too long ago, so I guess why not? It's not like I won't get a good view, as well~." She warmed up to the idea.

"Let's go!" The cat-girl liked that. "But wait, your bikini from back when we went to Mira's beach was so good! Why the new one?"

"Sizing issues." The princess glanced down at her chest. "It got way too tight."

"You are a-m-a-z-i-n-g!" Maya also stared at the tiger's chest. Again.

"Also, I got the same one, just a size bigger, because I liked it a lot, as well." Anna nodded a few times. "Oh, I also got a white version because that one looked amazing when I saw it."

"Yes, white is the best!" The white cat smirked at her.

"Amazing is definitely a word to describe you, too, so that checks out."

Afterward, the two of them went ahead and changed. Anna got into her new all-white bikini while Maya decided on her tried-and-proven two-tone red and white one before they left the cottage.

"We went to this beach the other day when we babysat Sari, and I thought it would be a good place for our lagoon." The two took a portal to Kel's ocean, where Maya showed the princess around. "The land curves in a bit over there and encompasses a part of the ocean. If we shape it a bit more and add a ton of palm trees, we should be able to create a nice lagoon."

"It looks great!" Anna nodded a few times while looking around. "If we curve in the land a bit more so that the water is mostly separated from the ocean and then cover the place in palm trees, it would be amazing!"

"Exactly!"

"How are we going to do that, though?" The princess tilted her head. "Magic?"

"I mean, what else?" Maya didn't understand the question. "Of course, it's magic."

"That sounded very Sophia-like." She let out a small chuckle in response.

"When she's right, she's right." The cat-girl just shrugged. "Back when we were in the desert, she rescued a lot of sand and a bunch of palm trees, cacti, and some other stuff for me. I'm planning to do my own desert soon, but we can use the sand and the palms here for now. I can easily get them from here when it's time for it, after all." She then pointed a bit further inland. "You can't really see the sand on its own anymore because it fused with the beach, but the palm trees, from what Sophia told me, actually came from the desert initially. No idea where the cacti and stuff are, though."

"It's not like those are very lagoon-like in the first place, so I don't think we need to know right now, do we?" Anna didn't plan on using any spikey plants for their project.

"Good point."

"Do you have a specific design besides the general layout in mind?" The princess looked around a little more while trying to get a better picture of the area.

"I'm not sure?" Maya shrugged. "My main goal back then was to one-up Ari and Sophia, soo…"

"Same, actually." Her motivation was the same.

"Well, I guess we can make a nice place for everyone to enjoy and go for a swim every now and then while we're at it?"

"And so you can enjoy everyone in bikinis?" The princess saw through her.

"Your words, not mine." Even though she sounded cheeky, the cat-girl's eyes were still glued to Anna's chest, which was barely contained by her bikini top. "Didn't you say you got a size bigger because your boobs got even more amazing? Have they grown again since then or what? Those puppies are about to jump out!"

"No comment." She paused for a moment before simply continuing. "As if you weren't thinking about everyone in bikinis when suggesting that."

"I was not!" She lightly raised her voice.

"Really?" Anna didn't believe her. "What were you thinking about, then?"

"Nude lagoon!" Her reply was instantaneous. "The bikinis today were only to have some support when building stuff!"

"…" She just rolled her eyes. "I can't say I'm surprised. Well, it's probably the easiest way to get Steph to come to a tropical lagoon, I guess."

"So true! I didn't even think about that."

"Yeah, that surely wasn't calculated."

"You say that in such a condemning tone, but I've yet to hear a no to my nude lagoon suggestion," Maya smirked at her.

"With how often we go to the hot springs together, and how Steph and Chloe run around in the cottage once it's half a degree too warm for their liking, being naked together with the others isn't actually all that out of the ordinary, now that I think about it. As long as it isn't just the two of us, because that would make it weird."

"And that's why I love this group so much!"

"Sure~." The princess let out a small chuckle.

Having agreed on what to do, in one way or another, the duo got to work. Maya wanted to have a denser palm tree forest further inland to separate their lagoon a little, so the two released a good bit of their magic in that area in the hope it would be used to grow a lot of healthy palms.

Afterward, they used earth magic to shape the lagoon itself. Most of the area was already portioned off by the ocean, but the two took much of the sand around to almost entirely disconnect the 500m-by-500m big body of water from the rest.

Once that was done, Maya and Anna used some more earth magic to move a couple of the palm trees so that they would encircle the entire lagoon once they were fed some more raw magic and multiplied.

"I think that should be good enough for now." A few hours had passed since they started working, and Maya decided to call it a day.

"We did good!" Anna energetically nodded while smiling at the cat-girl. Once they were done, the two got in the water together to relax a bit before sitting down on the shore with a cocktail, as one has to do when being in such a scenery.

"We sure did!"

"Let's boast a lot once we show the others!" The tiger's voice turned a little cheeky.

"I like the way you think!" She agreed with her idea. "We're definitely going to turn it into a nude-only lagoon, though!" The cat-girl was still convinced by her earlier plan.

"Even though you look so good in your bikini, which has the perfect shape to enhance your assets?" Anna smirked at her.

"Well, you sure know a thing or two about that." Maya's expression turned into a grin as she once more stared at Anna's chest, whose massive size was even more enhanced by the push-up effect of her bikini top.

"They're not that different." The princess tried to defend herself while she looked at the cat-girl.

"Not even Sophia's such a bad liar!" Maya didn't buy that. "Like, the difference is massive! In various ways." Saying so, the cat-girl got as close as possible to the tiger, close enough that their chests squished into each other, and the tips of their noses basically touched. "You're nearly twice as big as I am!"

"I guess." Somehow, this comparison made her a little smugger than she had been before.

"Thanks for the show~." Cheeky as ever, Maya first looked her in the eyes before her gaze wandered toward the tiger's chest right below her nose.

"Sure." She had nothing else to say.

Afterward, once Maya had had enough of the show, which took a little while, the two continued to enjoy their creation while cooling off in the water together.
