I will strive beyond this cursed bloodline!

Chapter 74: This took more chapters than I wanted.

The other side of the portal, was exactly as Elizabeth had expected, the first feeling she got was a sense of night omnipotence, the very fact that Elizabeth could wield her mana without expending it, it was a weird feeling.

She had used this chance to test a few mana applications that were particularly heavy in mana usage. And... After seeing it was functional, she dispersed that mana and returned it to a more natural form.

Now she had a few things to think about; she was not quite a Goddess, not yet anyway. She could ignite her GodFire at any moment yes. She had everything ready, all but the domain she would take.

And she wasn't quite sure what to make out of it, for starters, as she came closer and closer to her Apotheosis, she was sure of something.

Mother and Papa lied.

Mother was not the [Goddess of Magic] for starters. Or well, she was, but she wasn't The Goddess of Magic if that made sense, same as how Papa may be [Framework The God of Family] but he wasn't The God of Family.

Did they hide their actual domain for a reason? Or was this something to do with how the Prana would be tainted if they actually revealed it?

Papa and Mother never actually wanted to become Gods and goddesses, and they probably would discard that role as soon as they could. And Elizabeth...

Understood why, she also didn't quite want to become one, and her own Apotheosis was not towards becoming a Goddess but an existence closer to an Administrator, just like how the purple woman did it.

Meaning... She didn't really need to be as worried about the domain she actually picked.

But that was something she would think while she worked here within Terra Nexus, because she was procrastinating. The first thing she did was check on the planet, how it was, what was happening and how her former minions were doing.

And that was something else; she, of course, knew something. Mordred had given her a rough image and some data about what was going on, but that was only superficial data, gathered from the scouts that she could spread across the planet. And while Elizabeth trusted her Shadow Dragons as scouts...

The current ones weren't as good as they used to, why?

Because they were alive now, a living entity had worries that an undead didn't. They needed to manage their calorie intake, their water intake, their rest and stamina, unlike the shadows that didn't require rest. So the amount of data they could scout and get was limited by their logistics.

The horror.

So what did she get?

"They all aren't... cute girls." Elizabeth said as her consciousness spread all around Terra Nexus, the seven races of former minions had spread across the planet. Only to be pulled back to the Shadow Haven when the planet started to move more towards an end-of-the-world scenario.

The Shadow Dragons were, quite mundane to be honest, they were humans covered in shadows that could take in the form of a dragonoid species, they could grow shadow wings and a shadow armor made out of obsidian-like scales. Similar to how Elizabeth used to look in her first Shadow Empress form.

The Thunder birds... Well, they were fine; they had turned into a humanoid race of good-looking blonde people, weirdly similar to the former Saintsworths, only they had feathers in their hair and their appearance was somewhat sharper. Elizabeth didn't miss the fact that their backs all had an opening for wings. Wings that they could summon and were made out of pure energy.

Honestly, they looked cooler than they deserved, for some reason, the change of form didn't affect them or made them move less. Or prevent them from returning to their sphere bird look.

Weird. The thunder birds were weird.

The Fire Salamander for their part, most of them looked like what Elizabeth imagined an actual dragonoid species would look, the female one was kind of hot (Both in sexy ways and fire ways), while the male form was closer to what Elizabeth imagined a hunk would look. They had a few humanoid aspects, mostly in the fact that their body had skin(Even if red) and not scales, their mouth was filled with sharp canines though, and they still had the long tongue of a reptilian. Also a tail, because why not.

The Eternal Snakes and the Space Foxes, for their part, looked oddly similar, neither fully human, but also not fully humanoid. The Snake species had lithe bodies and they seemed to shift in age at will, in public they made an espectacle of shifting all the time, while in private they stuck to their favorite age. Bunch of weirdos.

For their part the Space Foxes, like Aura and Sana were a species filled with little girls, or well, most of them were little girls. The oldest one was closer in look to Aura while the youngest was as small as what Alexa had been.

Weirdly enough, the Eternal Snakes did have males in their species. Even if most were female. Unlike the space foxes that was filled with only females.

The Shadow Dragons, the Fire Salamander, the Thunderbirds, and the Eternal Snakes had both females and males. But the space fox only had females.

That was closer to what Elizabeth had expected to be honest.

The last on the list, the Spectral Owl... Those technically were only a single entity, a young girl who walked a lonely path. Elizabeth had half expected her to either disappear or be unaffected, but what happened was that she split into thousands of smaller forms of herself that spread across the planet.

Not all of them were the grim reaper that Elizabeth had made, but any one of them could become one at a moment's need. Elizabeth wasn't sure if that was better or worse. What she noticed was that... While they had a front that seemed to imply that they were their own race, like the Thunder Bird they were humanoid-looking people with feathers on their hair and some aspects of birds, they didn't have an specific color of hair to them, most had brown hair, but it was not limited to brown.

Stolen story; please report.

But that was besides the point. What Elizabeth worried more about was the fact that some of their species could take on the form of other species. When a thunderbird died, the Specter Owl that carried their soul was then able to take on the form of that species.

Meaning... They would be able to take upon any form within one generation. Not that she thought they would abuse that power... But it was interesting.

Now, you may be thinking 'Elizabeth made seven races, but these are only six' And you would be right.

The Bnnuys... The bunnies... These... had a special mission, one that Elizabeth had disguised as something else, while their power allowed them to procreate with any species, she had showcased it as if that was limited to her minions. It was not.

They could procreate with ANY species, not only sapient ones. The reason for this was... Well, Elizabeth wanted to cheap out on the repopulation of the planet, the planet didn't only have seven species, it would also need animal and vegetal life. And that takes time. She could waste mana to accelerate it yes, but that was wasted mana, better to make a species to help her do that.

The actual mission of the Bnuuys would be to help Elizabeth offset the price she would need to pay to populate the animal and fish life on the planet.

And with that said... Now that Elizabeth had ensured all her minions were safe and sound, she put hands at work.

First, she ensured that every Minion was within the Shadow Haven, even the stupid birds that were hiding in the depths of the planet. She teleported everyone there and gave a speech to ensure they would remain there and know she cared for them.

Then she put hands at work, the first step was to deal with the day and night cycle, or the fact that there wasn't one. That was easy to deal with, she stimulated the dead core within the planet, the place that Nyx was currently sleeping.

She merely needed to affect the physical metallic core within the planet, first superheat it till it became liquid, then strap a few kinetic spells and formulas to ensure it was spinning at a good enough speed, kickstart the transference of angular momentum from the core of the planet to the exterior of the planet and ensure the mana kept everything in one piece.

Done.

Elizabeth was sure that a physicist would complain about how many steps she had ignored and how it shouldn't work like that, but Elizabeth would tell that physicist to go and eat dirt. She was using magic, mana and reality-bending powers, of course it would work like this because Elizabeth believed it would work like that (Also it was more convenient for Elizabeth).

With that done she turned her attention to the planet at large, now that it had a day and night cycle she noticed that the side that had been exposed to the sun was hotter than the other half.

And now that the planet was spinning... The cooler side would probably start heating up, she could very well end with a toasty planet.

"Gotta fix the ocean problem next I guess..." Elizabeth moved to do just that, she plucked the oceans that were floating all around the world and started by settling them down into the pits and bottomless craters that the planet had.

She settled them there and ensured that they would serve to thermoregulate the temperature of her planet, a few spells to create underwater currents that could serve as a way to redirect the heat and cool all around and she was done.

Following the example of Zaanam, she concentrated the cooler waters on the north and south poles; she would use that part as a way to help cool and thermoregulate the planet.

And while doing this she left a flying lake around, why? Because the STUPID BIRDS wanted one.

She couldn't understand why a species of lightning attuned things wanted to swim around, it was... stupid.

The problem that followed was one that she hadn't thought would happen, as the planet started to spin more regularly and gain speed, some of the continents started to drift.

The stupid things weren't fixed to the planet; a quick look into the database within the Shadow Spire showed that... Terra Invicta also didn't have fixed continental masses. So this was not something new.

Elizabeth wasn't quite sure if it was the same with Zaanam or if this was a thing that was exclusive to Terra Invicta and Terra Nexus, but nevertheless, she had to deal with it.

She ended up using her Reality-bending Idea to fix it, first she made sure that the stupid land would latch itself to the planet at large, she didn't fix it in place but made it kind of... bounce? Something like give small jumps here and there.

Since the whole core was spinning, she couldn't just make it stay stuck to the Core, as that would make it incredibly unstable (She tried with one of the... less good-looking continental mass... that now became an archipelago, but that was planned, trust)

And looking at the time, Elizabeth found that she had used almost four of the six days she had available, so with renewed vigor (Because that was all she had, she was getting tired of working nonstop, who would have thought fixing a planet in a week would be this tiring?!?!?)

With the continental drift fixed, the oceans in place, the day and night cycle working... The next problem was life.

Animal life, vegetal life, ocean life. And of course, her former minion's life.

For the first, she used the fragments of souls that hadn't managed to become fully sapient or sentient; she made them bodies based upon the former species that had been living within Terra Invicta and breathed their souls into those bodies.

They had... rough instincts about what to do to survive, but Elizabeth would need to monitor them somewhat closer...

"Kureha," Elizabeth whispered.

"Yes Mistress?" The Spectral Owl materialized standing on the branch of a dead tree, "Do you wish for me to reap their souls? They didn't meet your criteria?"

"No," Elizabeth said shaking her head and looking at the small animals she had made from Prana, it was... humbling, the things she could do when Mana and Prana wasn't a limit, not even at her peak would she be able to make something like this.

Her Doppelgangers were that, mana flesh pretending to be alive. But this small critter? These things she made, they were truly Alive.

"Keep an eye on these if you can, ensure they can survive till their natural death, ensure that these can follow their instincts and impart those in their descendant." Elizabeth said as she started making more and more critters.

For the forest, for the mountains, the deserts, the sea and the skies.

"Your will shall be done," Kureha bowed as she flew and disappeared. She still hadn't shown her a humanoid form, even though Elizabeth knew she had one too.

But she wouldn't think too much about that.

She was getting sleepy, and that was dangerous, Elizabeth could not sleep, not here.

"Now... the former minions..." Elizabeth turned her Divine Sense towards them.

They were....mostly fine.

But she noticed a few problems, the thunder birds had too much electric mana coursing their bodies, any kind of life they wanted to procreate would suffer brain death, as the fetus wouldn't be able to manipulate and protect themselves.

The Fire Salamanders had too high a body temperature, and unlike actual salamanders, they didn't have the organs to lay eggs.

All her former minions had one or two of those problems, well almost all of them. The Space Fox didn't have that issue, but they were an all-girls species.

So they would die out... Unless they sought to have kids with one of the other minions?

But then the issue with the genetic code was there... the only ones that would probably match them would be the Shadow Dragons... Actually they were the only one that would probably survive...

Unless they all...

"Screw it, Love makes the world go round." Elizabeth said as she stopped thinking, using her immense mana, she decided to twist causality into being her bitch.

She made it so as long as there was actual Love, any inhabitant of Terra Nexus would be able to have a kid with the person they loved, who would carry it?

Well, it would be whichever of the two who wanted. If neither thought about it, then it would go to the one who would care for the baby better. She made it so it wouldn't matter if it was between species or if it was between two people of the same sex.

It would be hypocritical of Elizabeth to stop same sex relationships when she herself was planning to have kids with her wives.

She had prepared something like that with the bnnuys, so spreading it to the other minions wasn't that hard. And the special surprise she left with the bnnuys would make a couple of Terra Nexus inhabitants very lucky.

Those pink bundles of love would make those who ended as their partners the happiest people on Terra Nexus, the bnnuys would naturally secrete aphrodisiacs that would make them see heaven, hell, and the next world from the pleasure, and that would be a surprise for both, the bnnuy and the lucky fella.

Elizabeth... may have used a similar formula when messing around with Rossie and Rena, but that also was a story for another time, as Elizabeth was getting really tired...

And before she did something stupid, she left a warning to the inhabitants of Terra Nexus. She would trust the bnnuys to help repopulate the planet, she had dropped a few hundred around all the biospheres that she had made, they would mate with the local species and accelerate the growth.

Then, when the population achieved a somewhat stable point, they all would be able to decide for themselves if they wanted to remain as pseudo-sapient animals, integrate with society, or do whatever they wanted.

They also were Divine Bnnuys after all. If they wanted to, she wouldn't mind if they became divine spirits.

They would have earned that, and with that done, Elizabeth walked back into the portal back to Zaanam.

She had a wedding to attend.... and a room to go back and sleep for a week or so.

Wonder how far was her wedding away at this point?
