Seven Beautiful Goddesses Want Me, But I Just Want My Revenge

Chapter 111: Let me serve you... #4

As Adrian, Lilith, Medea and Ava approached the gates of the village, the faint sounds of music and distant chatter reached their ears. The town was alive with activity, even as night fell. The Church of Adonitology, it seemed, never truly rested.

When they reached the entrance, a young acolyte greeted them, his eyes wide with awe as he took in the sight of the group—particularly the three goddesses walking alongside Adrian. More like he was focused on their asses.

"Welcome back," the acolyte stammered, his gaze lingering on Lilith, who gave him a knowing smile. "Selene, the high priestess, will be pleased to see you again."

Adrian smiled politely.

"I'm glad to hear that," he replied, hoping his voice didn't betray his nerves. "We're just here to rest for the night, but I'd love to speak with her. If she's available, that is."

"I'm sure she will make out the time," Lilith said with a wink, causing the acolyte's cheeks to flush a deep red.

They were escorted through the temple, where Selene awaited them, her eyes bright with recognition and perhaps a hint of something more as her gaze lingered on Adrian.

The priestess greeted them with a warm smile, bowing low before the goddesses.

"Welcome back, honored guests," she said, her voice melodic and soft. "The temple is always open to deities with much power in them. You are welcome to stay as long as you need."

Adrian exchanged a quick glance with Lilith, who gave him a knowing look. He could feel Selene's eyes on him, and he couldn't help but wonder what she had planned.

"Thank you," he replied, offering a small bow of his own.

Ava looked around, her eyes scanning the room, clearly unimpressed.

"We'll try to keep to ourselves," she said coolly, her tone conveying her disinterest in the place. "We wouldn't want to be a bother."

Selene nodded.

"Of course," she replied, her gaze returning to Adrian.

After they were shown to their quarters—a grand room with lavish cushions and silk sheets—Selene approached Adrian quietly. "My lord," she whispered, her voice low enough that the others couldn't hear, "I would like to speak with you… privately."

Adrian couldn't help but notice the slight tremble in her voice, her eyes flicking briefly to the goddesses who had settled themselves comfortably on the bed, their backs against the cushions, and the wine in their hands.

"If that's okay with you," Selene continued, her cheeks flushing. "I mean, if you're not too tired."

"No," Adrian answered.

Lilith smirked, raising a brow. "What's going on?" she asked, wrapping her arm around Adrian's hand in a possessive manner. "You're not planning anything, are you, priestess?"

"No," Selene insisted. "I just want to talk."

Medea, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke. "About what?"

Selene hesitated.

"Relax ladies," he said, trying to sound casual. "I'll be fine."

"Will you now?" Ava teased. "And what, pray tell, do you two plan on discussing?"

Selene shifted her weight, looking uncomfortable.

"Enough! I'll be fine. Besides, she is a high priestess. We should give her the benefit of the doubt."

Ava rolled her eyes.

"Fine," she replied, crossing her arms over her chest. "Don't expect me to save you if you get in trouble."

With that, the trio turned away, leaving Adrian alone with the priestess. Selene gestured for him to follow her and she led him outside to the gardens, where the moon shone bright, casting a soft, silver glow over the lush, green grass.

Adrian followed her, his footsteps echoing in the quiet night air.

"What did you want to discuss?" he asked, curious as to why she wanted to talk to him alone.

Selene smiled, her eyes shining with curiosity. "Your journey has been long and arduous, hasn't it? I can see the weariness in your eyes. You've been through much."

"I have," Adrian admitted, not seeing any reason to lie.

Selene nodded.

"It must be tiring, being the center of attention," she said, her voice soft. "You carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, don't you?

Adrian didn't know how to respond, so he simply nodded, his eyes fixed on the ground.

Selene smiled.

"I know that you're special," she said, her tone gentle. "That you've been blessed by the gods themselves. But what about you? Do you ever think about yourself?"

Adrian hesitated.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

Selene sighed.

"I know that your destiny is tied to the gods," she explained. "But what about you? What do you want? Is there something that you desire? Something that makes your heart ache? A dream that keeps you up at night?"

Adrian was stunned by the question.

It was something he hadn't thought about, at least not consciously. But the more he considered it, the more he realized that there was something he had always longed for, something that he'd never dared to admit.

"You," he whispered, his eyes locking with Selene's.

She smiled.

"I know," she replied, her voice low and soft. "I've been watching you, Adrian. You're a special man, and you deserve to be treated like a god. You deserve to be worshiped. I can see that, and so can the others. That's why they're drawn to you."

Adrian swallowed hard, unable to respond.

Selene continued.

"They can't give you what you truly want, though," she said in a serious expression. "Not the way I can. I've seen the way you look at them, the way you admire them."

"And I want that too," she said, releasing the robe holding her cloak together.

It fell to the floor, revealing a thin, white see through gown underneath. The curve of her body was visible, her breasts perked, nipples hardened and erect, straining against the fabric.

Adrian was mesmerized, his mouth hanging open as he stared at her.

Adrian was at a loss for words, his heart racing as his eyes trailed over her body, taking in the sight. Selene stepped forward, her eyes gleaming with desire.

"What are you doing?" Adrian finally managed to ask.

"I want to be worthy of you, Adrian," she whispered, her voice low and husky. "Let me serve you. Let me worship you. I can give you what you need."
