He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact

Chapter 367 Domineering 2

The spectators could see the large number of society members rallying behind their presidents.

The disparity between the number of members the Atrexia Society and the Sword Tribunal Society had was so strong that one couldn't help but think for a second that Kailen Darkhaven and Zarek Atrexia were overestimating themselves.

They numbered in the thousands, despite the traps and battles that had killed some of them.

The society presidents were silent as they neared the icy region where the Sword Tribunal Society and the Atrexia Society had gathered.

There was no need for senseless conversations.

This alliance was only to get rid of a common enemy — and after that, they'd turn on one another.

There was no need for them to act like they were close, or had each other's interest at heart.

Finally, they spotted them in the distance, until their visages grew larger — and they finally crossed gazes.

The empirewide spectators could feel the tension in the air at this moment, when they locked eyes.

Xyra looked at her brother — eyes full of hatred and swarming killing intent bleeding into her gaze.

Bryce looked at Kailen, then hatred filled his heart.

Dahlia looked at Kailen — her ticket to become the personal disciple of the sect leader.

Tyrax Tantamount stared at Kailen Darkhaven and Zarek Atrexia, his heart full of rage and greed.

Riba Harker stared at Kailen with extreme hatred.

This was gonna be the haughty fellow's grave.

" Surrender silently and we will spare your society members… oh, my bad." Bryce spoke. He chuckled lightly — an attempt at mockery. To him, Kailen and Zarek's fates were sealed.

He added, " I meant if you surrender silently, you all will get an extremely quick death."

Kailen sighed quietly. He could read their emotions on their faces — all summed up into these two: hatred, ambition.

But he didn't care.

All this while, he had not said a word.

This trash talk made Bryce look like a clown from an arrogant young master in some cliché novel.

Honestly, why did people always bother with nonsense like this? Did it increase the stakes of them winning or something?

Had this guy attempted psychological warfare, Kailen would have been slightly amused.

He had to do his part — which was to kill the presidents to dampen the morale of their society members, which in turn would make it easy for the members of the Atrexia and Sword Tribunal Society to defeat their members.

But before that, he needed to ruin the name of the Darkhaven Clan leader and his son. Just death would be too easy for Bryce. Also, while doing that, he would plant some abominable seeds in the hearts of the audience concerning the other society leaders.

" Have you told the other presidents that you are a vimodial contractor?"

Kailen chuckled lightly.

His words caused everyone watching the society wars — and everyone around him — to open their eyes wide in shock.

Bryce furrowed his brows lightly at Kailen's revelation.

However, they resumed their calm.

With everyone staring at him to gauge his reaction, it was pretty much obvious from the slight furrowing of his brows that they had gotten the answer they needed — their suspicion grew.

No one knew how Kailen Darkhaven came to this impossible conclusion, but they were not willing to risk it.

The society presidents still had their doubts, but the expressions of confusion on their faces made Kailen pleased.

" What, you didn't know? Yeah, well, you just banded together with someone despised by every race in the universe."

Kailen clicked his tongue. " Tsk, tsk." He sighed after that, layering further — feigning exasperation.

" Honestly, I can't help but wonder if you lads are also vimodial contractors. I mean, after all, you lots banded with him so… anyway, the streaming is still intact, Bryce. Know what I mean?"

Bryce's heart skipped a fucking beat at Kailen's words.

" Initially I thought since I was gonna get rid of him and any other society presidents and their members here, it wouldn't be a problem even if he blabbered nonsense about me being a vimodial contractor. But… how did he find out? Also, he said the streaming could not be tampered with? How did he find out about my plan to tamper with the streaming in the first place?

Who the hell is this fucker?

Have I fallen into some sort of trap? Has he played me from the beginning? How is this possible? And… does this mean that the whole empire has heard this? Damn it!

Also, was a higher up backing the Vimodial Society not responsible for messing with the stream temporarily so that I, alongside my society members, could initiate his plan?

What the hell happened?

How has Kailen Darkhaven been able to intercept with the streaming to prevent it from going off?"

Anyway, with the empirewide audience watching, I have to denounce the claims of the fellow, else everyone would believe it"

If the stream were to be off, he wouldn't have any problem revealing his life-force-sucking ability — but now that the stream had not gone off, well, he couldn't.

He was cornered. Kailen Darkhaven had messed with his plans.

Had the fellow seen through all this?

This bastard… was terrifying.

Kailen, however mused inwardly to himself.

" Could have gone with the option of letting him suck the life force of a few of my society members while he thought the stream was off — meanwhile the empirewide audience would still be watching him and actively catch him in the act — but that's not how I roll.

My society members are my responsibility. I may not be a good person, but that does not mean I should sacrifice the future members of the Sword Tribunal Sect for my goals.

Anyway, well, it seems the approach I'm using is also working perfectly.

Also, their alliance seems to be crumbling. It's obvious from the emotions playing on their faces that no one wants to cooperate with him at this point because they are scared of being labeled with rumors of being vimodial contractors too.

After all, I also labeled them possible vimodial contractors, hinting that it's the possible reason for the alliance. Therefore, the audience will subconsciously believe my words if they keep the alliance going.

The only choice they have right now is to prove to the audience they are legit — by letting the alliance crumble.

Heheh, doesn't change the fact that they will all attack me to get the first kill and increase their chances of becoming the top-ranked president… but this turn of events is quite fun honestly.

Playing with the feelings of these fuckers before killing them is literally a heaven kind of feeling."

As for Bryce, he chuckled, staring back at the other society presidents who had banded with him for the temporal alliance. They all had looks of hesitation in their eyes at the moment.

" Guys, come on, you don't really believe this fucker, right? We came here to kill him, and he's trying to plant seeds of discord amongst us so that we will turn on one another instead of focusing on getting rid of him!"

Bryce said, approaching the other alliance members.

However, each of the society presidents he had banded with took several steps away from him.

" What the hell are you talking about? Do you think we'd want to cooperate with anyone now that there are rumors of you — and every one of us — being vimodial contractors circulating around?"

Tyrax was the first person to speak.

" I am out of this alliance."

" Me too."

" Can't fucking risk it."

" Yeah."

Under the gazes of several shocked empirewide audiences — including Kailen's loved ones, and even society members from the different societies standing in the icy region in the secret realm — the alliance to get rid of Kailen Darkhaven had crumbled before they even decided to get rid of him.

And this had happened because of a few words from Kailen Darkhaven.

He had played a psychological game on them — to bait them into destroying their alliance set up against him.

" This kid is a piece of art."

Aurelius Zeynar, staring at the holographic screen, couldn't help but sigh as he shook his head at Kailen's display of psychological prowess.

It was simply masterful.

Ross Kadmen chuckled, downing a glass of coffee. " I know, right? It's fortunate for our empire to have found such a monster. When he approached me with a request that I should do something about anyone that may attempt to mess with the streaming, I was curious about what he was planning. So this was what he had in mind. This kid is terrifying. Anyway, someone actually attempted to mess with the streaming."

Aurelius opened his eyes wide in shock. " Does this mean…"

" Yeah, this confirmed the kid's words. It's possible that Bryce Darkhaven is a vimodial contractor — and there's a higher up in the academy supporting him." Ross confirmed his suspicion.

" What in the name of the universe is happening…"

Aurelius sighed — the revelation staggering.

" Don't worry, old friend. The kid knows what he's doing. Let's watch him work. This boy will find a way to expose the vimodial contractors on campus. And this society wars may be the first step he's taking towards that goal."

Ross spoke with certainty.

Concerning the kid's prediction that Bryce was a vimodial contractor, he knew the mysterious backing the kid had probably had something to do with it.

This made him all the more shocked and fearful about Kailen's background.

A presence that could detect something no one in the universe could detect — the fact that someone is a vimodial contractor unless they reveal vimodial abilities , is simply inconceivable.

Managing to calm down because he knew these thoughts were just a waste of time, he sighed.

" It's a good thing I decided to be on the good side of this kid."

His eyes returned to the holographic screen, where something mind-blowing was happening.
