Limb Enhancement does not count as it only strengthens a single limb.]After reviewing his status, Yang Yi immediately pulls a regeneration potion from his worm-ring. An unspeakable itch crawls over his entire body—a side effect of the potion. He's surprised to find the ring's attributes have changed as well.[Name: Charred Worm-Ring][Type: Relic][Quality: Treasure][Description: A tiny worm-ring that suddenly mutated, indulging in the joy of fire. It will stubbornly cling to you and is difficult to remove.Provides five cubic meters of internal storage space, easy to access.Remember to roast it with fire daily, or it might bite off your finger.]So, the ring really is a living creature… What a shame about the stomach-pouch; it didn't survive, and was now just a piece of roasted meat.He drinks the potion, his health ticking up a small amount. Soon, the Refuse Death state ends, and he enters a weakened state, all attributes except Spirit dropping by 2. He can barely move, collapsing to the ground as his health slowly ticks down, then stops…Footsteps approach. He can't see, but his sense of smell has become incredibly acute. He can identify the person and their location by scent alone. The smell is familiar. It's definitely Suna.Just as he suspected, Suna walks over and crouches down, seemingly examining his injuries. After a dozen seconds, she speaks."Yang Yi, can you hear me? You're very badly injured. Almost 100% of your body has severe burns. Even in an ICU, you'd have almost no chance of survival."Suna's voice trembles slightly, as if with sorrow, or perhaps excitement. Her tone suddenly shifts: "How about…""Stop! Stop your insane idea right now! I can still be saved!" Yang Yi blurts out, startling Suna. A piece of charcoal just spoke, and quite clearly at that. But it's understandable. He was afraid if he was a second too slow, she'd have her scalpel out and be dissecting him.In reality, she's not holding a scalpel. At least, not until she's confirmed he's dead."I've ranked up to Supernatural now," Yang Yi explains hastily. "And I'm a werewolf, with strong self-healing abilities! Look at my health, it's not dropping anymore!"Suna checks the crew panel and sees that it's true."Can you send me your panel to look at?" she asks suddenly."This…" Yang Yi hesitates. Before, he never would have. But now, perhaps with his head muddled, he sends it over. Suna is surprised; she was just testing him. But she's quickly drawn in by his information, especially the unique talent, Iron Will. If she could possess that talent… the truth would be within her grasp. A bright light flashes in her eyes, then is quickly hidden.Soon, Yang Yi receives a message from her—her own personal panel."The Truth… and your magic, why does it look so normal!" Yang Yi thinks, looking at her spells. Compared to her, he's like a cultist. And her Perception is a staggering 9—a base stat, with no bonuses!By exchanging panels, they build a new level of trust. Confirming Yang Yi is out of immediate danger, Suna suggests moving back to their campsite. His condition is °• N 𝑜 v 𝑒 l i g h t •° in no state for travel."Are all the believers dealt with?" he asks.Suna turns her head. Not far away, a three-meter-long, charred abomination, made from a Pale Worm segment and the limbs of numerous believers, is smashing the last few of them to pieces."You basically burned them all to death. The last few were just smashed," she replies. After confirming the area is safe, Suna recalls her abomination and begins to clean up. The fire has mostly died out, and the melted ice is beginning to re-freeze. She orders the abomination to swallow some of the unburnt believer corpses for later study. Then, her attention turns to the remains of the crystal giant—a three-meter-high, ten-meter-long pile of fused crystal. It's too heavy to lift, but on the ice, her abomination can just barely drag it with ropes. With the battlefield cleaned, Yang Yi is placed in a sleeping bag and covered with a thick cotton coat, ready to be dragged back to the tent by the abomination.
