How am I supposed to deal with this guy…

I guess we could just try the non violent approach first.

"Could you… Maybe just keep your libido in check for a second?" I asked the naked Zwerger.

He paused before he turned to look at the larger creature that was underneath him, "Since when were you able to talk?"

I sighed, "We are Mercs hired to investigate this station since this place has stopped responding and delivering Ketrite crystals. We're not one of these creatures."

He swivelled his head back to me with wide eyes, "Me… Mercs?! Wait, wait… Why… Why are you here?!"

"Were you not listening at all? I just said that we're here because this mining station has stopped mining so we were hired to investigate the reason why. And obviously the reason is you."

He raised his hands, "Wait wait wait wait!! You're not going to kill me, are you?"

"That depends entirely on your next move actually. Our goal is to restore the station back in working order so what you're doing right now is kind of hindering that."

He grabbed two of those creatures by their thighs to pull them towards him to hug them, "No!! You're not taking them from me!! They're mine!! They're all mine!! They're… Huh… Hmm… Oh… I know. Unless you take their place, Miss Mercenary! Become my sex slave! Then we will have a--"

BANG!

The creature that was next to him had its chest blown open from Amber's pistol, the creature scratching at its chest for a moment before falling backwards onto the ground.

Curiously, none of the other creatures reacted to its death, not even the 'mother'.

All of them didn't even look at it as it fell like its death was simply just something inconsequential happening.

I guess this answers the question of whether it had compassion for their own kind and the answer was no.

Amber slowly pointed the gun at the Zwerger, "They never said that we had to make sure all the workers here are alive, by the way. We have no obligation to only use lethal force as a last resort. So watch what you say, Zwerger."

He raised his hands in surrender, "Wait! Wait! Please… I… I didn't mean any harm!! I just wanted a harem of big, hot girls!!"

I turned back to look at the hall where almost all of his colleagues were trapped in one of those milking sacs and being forced to have their semen extracted from them.

"Yeah… Didn't mean any harm? Sure… Could have fooled me with that…"

He gestured wildly in that direction, "Look! They're all fine right?! I promise once I have made a big enough group, I would release them and board a ship to fly away somewhere else!! They would just wake up like they had experienced a bad dream!! They would be completely unhurt!!"

Yumiko growled at him, "And what about the supply of materials that this station is supposed to provide? Do you think that this selfish little stunt of yours isn't going to affect anyone else? What if because of you, they aren't able to build a weapon a soldier needed to survive on the front lines and they are dead because of that? Have you ever thought about that?"

Oh wow… I have a feeling Yumiko's speaking from personal experience… Probably something to do with her time back in the military.

The Zwerger hesitated, "I… We… This isn't the only place mining Ketrite crystals! And it's not like supply lines have never been cut off before!"

"And those actions were done by the enemy forces intending to sabotage your side. Are you admitting that you are no different than them?"

I think that was the moment he realised how screwed he was because his face turned as pale as the creatures' around him.

"I… I will leave… I will leave right now… I'll tell her to free them all and just take my ship and leave… Just say that you managed to deal with the problem and no one else has to know!"

Amber still kept her gun pointed at him, "What's in it for us?"

We're getting paid for this, Amber… Was what I wanted to point out but I guess she figured there's no reason not to try and get more benefits for ourselves here.

He wrung his fingers nervously, "What… What do you want from me? I… I don't have anything… I'm just a poor worker, you know? I don't… I don't own anything…"

Mara pointed at the remaining smaller creatures, "I know that they will obey your orders. Tell them to obey us instead and you can get your little sex toy shrunk down to bring along with you out of the station."

He jumped at that, "Oh! You want some for yourself as well? Take them! Yes!! Please!! You three! Go with them! Listen to whatever they say from now on!!"

I don't know why but it kind of feels like he's selling off his girls just to get himself out… But I guess it's sort of accurate to think that way I suppose…

But one thing I'd like to say though…

Ehhhh?!! Why are we taking them Mara?!!

Wait… You want to do experiments on them, don't you?! Please tell me you're not trying to breed them as well! You're not, are you?!

I swear, if I find that one part of our ship gets turned into a nest, I'm going to set fire and burn the entire room down!! You hear me?!

As though reading my mind, which I already know she couldn't, Mara turned back to assure me, "I will not be letting them make a nest on your ship, Captain. I just want to see whether I can create some new gene mods with them as reference. Who knows? That shapeshifting trait of theirs could help me with our current project."

I understood that by 'current project', she meant the one that would give me the ability to sprout tentacles from my body.

Well… As long as she isn't planning to make more of them I suppose…

Hmm… Now that I think about it… I could also just get Renata to eat them if it comes down to it.

The Zwerger turned to us nervously, "So… I can go now right? You're not going to kill me… Are you?"

I shrugged, "We don't get paid more money to kill you. So just take that thing with you after you free the rest of your colleagues and we'll just tell them that a monster was responsible and we dealt with it. Should we tell them that you died or give another excuse?"

He nodded, "Yes! Yes!! Please just tell them that I died! That will remove me from the system and I can just settle myself outside the territory, somewhere where no one will find me!! I promise!! We will never see each other again!!"

The girls looked at me, clearly leaving the decision up to me.

I jerked my chin at him, "Deal. Just know that if we get contacted for a problem related to you again, you won't get a chance like this again. Got it?"

"Yes! Yes! I will leave right now! Quickly, quickly! Change everything back! We're leaving right now! Shrink yourself to leave with me! Detach yourself from the room!"

The larger creature tilted its head at him before it slowly started to shrink itself in size.

In the meantime, the other three creatures made its way towards us and stood in front of me, all three of them looking at me like they were looking at a meal.

And since I know that semen was their food source… I might very well be that to them.

The large tubes that stretched out of the room also started to retract towards the main creature as well and I peeked outside to see what was happening to the egg sacs.

Interestingly, they opened up like it was some kind of flower and deposited the Zwergers that had been in them on the ground, all of them covered in some kind of clear liquid which I assumed came from that creature.

Just from a glance, it looks like all of them were still alive but were left unconscious after that creature freed them from those milking egg sacs so I guess we'll deal with them later.

The creature eventually shrunk itself down to human size before it picked up the Zwerger to hug him to its chest, his back pushed up in between the two orbs on her torso.

Seeing that the Zwerger did not complain, I assumed that was how he wanted to leave this place so we stepped aside for him.

He nodded at me, "Don't worry! I will not forget this!! You can rest assured that we will never see each other again!! I'll leave immediately!!"

With that, he ran out of the room without a second glance back.

Hmm… All things considered, I would say this was a good way to end this.
