Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1041: Hell Road (7)

[A few moments before the transmission went down - Kent's POV]

After defeating the City of Shadows, Kent made his way toward Dravok, the City of Bones, to handle the 9th Hell Pillar.

However, along the way, he suddenly came to a halt, prompting everyone to see this as unusual for someone like Kent.

They never thought he would stop... yet he did.

Kent stopped atop a tall mountain, one that offered him a view far and wide. He observed the vast land stretching before him.

"Haa," Kent sighed, and then turned to his left.

"From where I'm from, we call stalkers 'creeps.' You wouldn't want to be known as the god of creeps, would you?" Kent said, a small smirk on his lips.

For a moment, nothing happened, then out of thin air, a man stepped out, a smile painting his face. He was a normal human like Kent. However, he wasn't fooling Kent with his good looks... after all, that was just a skin he chose to appear before Kent in.

"How did you sense me?" the man asked.

Kent stared at him for a few seconds before responding. "If you've lived for as long as I did, not even gods can sneak up on you."

"Tch..." The man chuckled, finding Kent's reply somewhat funny. After all, Kent was only 21. In the grand scheme of things, he wasn't even an infant.

"So how can I help the Monarch of Hell? I doubt you came here to watch me decimate your people. Though I have to say, they are much weaker than I expected."

The Hell Monarch, the true overlord of Hell and all thirteen levels, smiled, hearing Kent's words. He is a god, but in front of this brat, he felt like he was beneath him.

That was just ridiculous to him, considering he can easily slap Kent to death.

However, as he stood there, staring at Kent, the feeling of inferiority was the one he felt toward him...

"You are very far from home, Kent... when do you plan on leaving?"

"Right when I am done spending three hundred years here. Of course, first, I will kill a couple of your city lords and hell demons. Then, when done, I will be on my way."

The smile on the Hell Monarch's face faltered at hearing what Kent had planned for his people.

He was the one who created the hell roads. He made sure to set the rules: whoever challenges a hell road will face fourteen city lords and thousands of hunters.

These rules had held for as long as he could remember.

However, today, these rules have become a recipe for his ruin. Hell was his domain... The beings in it fueled his strength. So if Kent kept killing them, he would be weakened.

Kent had already gone too far in the Damned Hell Sea and the City of Flies. However, from the look of things, he wasn't planning on making things easy for himself at all.

In the end, the rules he created were now going against him...

"I am afraid I cannot allow you to kill any more of my people. You have done enough," the Hell Monarch said, a smile trying to come to his face.

Kent looked at the nine pillars still lit and smiled. "I am afraid the nine Pillars said a different thing, Your Highness. So perhaps you should stick to your own rules and let me handle my business."

"More blood to reap." Kent winked at him. He then turned and looked into the distance, where the City of Bones was waiting for him to come and conquer it.

"What if we come to some form of arrangement?" the Hell Monarch said, and Kent turned back toward him.

"I need blood, and this is a nice hunting field. I believe that should tell you the kind of mission I am on."

"I know, and I plan to make it up to you somehow. So why don't you listen to my offer first, then we can continue from there."

"Go ahead."

"Since you are here to challenge the 6th Hell Throne, I won't prevent you from doing that. However, I will be setting new rules for you alone.

The rule will only allow you to challenge the City Lords, and if you stop them, you will have the chance to challenge the current Hell King. However, there will be no city-to-city bloodbath.

In exchange for allowing me to implement this rule, I will allow you to enter Hell Beasts Paradise once from anywhere you are. I will also grant you a chance to leave after you become a Hell King, but you still get to keep your status as a Hell King.

That is, if you manage to defeat the current Hell King."

"Wait a minute. So if I were to become a Hell King and then leave this place, will the status be taken off me?" Kent asked after hearing what the Hell Monarch said.

"Yes. However, I plan to let you select someone to rule in your absence. I will even help you look for a suitable candidate. However, it cannot be the Death Dragon you made your beast companion."

"I see." Kent was clearly enlightened, hearing something that would have cost him something very precious. Becoming a Hell King sounded dope and powerful.

He didn't know just how much power he would be getting, but he knew becoming a Hell King was something he needed.

He had already seen what could happen if he didn't have countermeasures to protect those he cared about in the illusion that Zaila's past life consciousness showed him.

Kent knew that in the future, he would have to take trips too far for his women to come with him. Shit, he would be embarking on one soon.

So, while he was gone, he wanted those he cared about protected at all costs. He wouldn't want to come back to the ruins of what he failed to protect.

So to Kent, becoming a Hell King was a step in the right direction... one that he would build upon and ensure that, in years to come, the power he could command would rival any force that came against him.

But if he were to lose his status while away, he couldn't accept that.

So, hearing there was a fix for that, he began considering the offer he was presented with.

"I have three requests aside from your generous offer. If you can fulfill them, I will stop and follow your arrangement."

Hearing Kent's words made the Hell Monarch smile. "I am listening."

"First, allow Avotha to come and go as he pleases. Since he can't become my replacement, then allow him to come and go like he owns the place."

"I can allow that."

"Second, protect the seven Primordial Flame Seeds at the core layer of the Damned Hell Sea. I will come back for them 3.7 million years from today."

"I can do that."

"And lastly, I want the remaining battles to be a ten against one. This means I want the nine remaining City Lords and the Hell King to face me together in a big arena."

The Hell Monarch was stunned by the third request. However, knowing the kind of monster he was dealing with, he nodded.

"I can arrange that."

"Then great. I accept your offer, and please tell me who will be my replacement."

The Hell Monarch smiled and snapped his fingers, dragging two people through the void.

"Kent, meet two of the most ambitious people I have ever met... Bilad and Nyx."

Kent's brow raised upon hearing the name Nyx...
