Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1307: Resentful Slash

The moment their weapons met, Vhar'Zeth felt his hand tremble, a wave of pain vibrating through them as if he had just met the attack of a god.

This forced the weapon out of his hand, and his body was hurled back, crashing through his flaming throne, shattering it in the process.

In a fraction of a second, his majestic throne was shattered completely.

Kent is already aware that the throne was merely forged from the flame (magma) in the region, making it something that can be replaced easily.

But shattering the symbol of his authority inside the domain he controls is just too disrespectful.

However, being sent rolling and crashing through boulders and stones sure was humbling. His ego was bruised, but he learned a bitter lesson... 'never act arrogant in front of the primordial chaos dragon'

Kent watches him roll and crash through the flaming environment for a few hundred km before coming to a stop. He stood up, and his body exploded with power.

He is pissed, and it shows on his face.

"Oh, so you are a Root Immortal, huh?"

He hid his cultivation base at first so much that even the Tower couldn't discern it. However, now he can see and sense it. Even better, he had two immortal qi, making him even more dangerous.

He extended his hand, and his scythe flew into his grip. That one wasn't destroyed, a sign that the scythe is at least real, unlike the throne that was shattered into rubble.

"Void Inferno Body."

With no delay, Vhar'Zeth lunged at Kent, his body increasing in size along with his weapon. By the time he reached Kent and his weapon came down on Kent, he had risen to 8 meters, his scythe a giant weapon worthy of its name.

It cast a shadow over Kent; however, even without his void wings, he saw the attack coming. Half his flame veins activated, allowing him to move at a terribly fast pace.

Kent didn't run away; he instead jumped on the scythe and, using his speed, ran along the jagged handle of the scythe, unleashing a three-sword arc.

The attacks landed on Vhar'Zeth's face, throwing his head back. He had no time to defend; however, his skin is also thick enough to tank those three sword arcs.

Seeing this, Kent summoned 300 spears and sent all flying toward his face.

The attack was sudden, and while he would love to defend against them with his stony face, the moment they arrived, he found himself staring at 300 spears, each a deadly weapon.

His two immortal qi activated, manifesting a shield on his face. Thankfully, the shield forced the three hundred spears to a halt. Then they ignited, turning to ash.

However, Kent didn't care about the sudden loss of his three hundred weapons. If anything, he was more thrilled that Vhar'Zeth used his immortal qi to shield his face.

The moment he made that action, Kent tapped into the soul map and teleported to the ground, moved 2 km away and unleashed the Void Cleave sword attack.

The 100-meter-long crescent sword arc appeared, and as it moved through the air, it started gathering momentum.

That sword attack depends on the distance between him and his target.

2 km isn't much to make it a deadly blow; however, it is also strong enough to accomplish what Kent wanted.

Vhar'Zeth had now become a 10-meter-tall flaming giant with a jagged body. He seemed to have grown bigger, and his body was made from what appeared to be hardened magma.

His scythe is now 15 meters long, and the curved end of the blade is lit on a compressed flame, possibly a condensed primordial void flame.

However, while his strength is bone-shattering now, his speed was sacrificed, making him much slower.

However, while speed is important in combat, Kent knew that with a single blow, a large chunk of the battlefield would be gone. Vhar'Zeth's strength increases with his body size. The bigger he gets, the stronger he becomes.

So Kent knew best not to compete in the strength department. Meeting a brute in his first challenge was good. This would allow him to run circles around him and see just how much Gaap had grown.

So sacrificing 300 spears for an attack isn't a waste. In fact, the moment Vhar'Zeth sensed the void cleave attack, it was already before him.

ROAR

He roared at the top of his voice, crossing his hands before him. A shield of void energy manifested around the cross he formed, causing the attack to land on it with a devastating boom.

The recoil pushed Vhar'Zeth back a few steps, throwing dust and smoke into the air. It was just 2 km, so there was not much damage.

However, the moment the attack landed on Vhar'Zeth, he sensed he had been played.

He may be a brute, but he is not stupid.

When he destroyed the 300 spears, he sensed something was amiss. There was no way someone would send that many weapons just to be destroyed.

Kent didn't even attack with it as he should have. If anything, he merely sent them flying at his face to test something. But Vhar'Zeth had fought many battles, and judging by the attack from Kent's first slash, he sensed something terrible was amiss.

Nobody that powerful could just let 300 of their weapons be destroyed like they were made of paper.

However, before he could address that discovery, the void cleave arrived, and like with the sword, he also sensed the conspiracy.

Like with the spears, Kent had the chance to attack more powerfully. However, he merely scratched him, and that was just not a coincidence. This made him panic...

However, he was made aware of just what kind of monster Kent is right after the void cleave was defended.

Up in the air, he heard howling, roaring, screaming, and wailing. He quickly waved his hand to clear the smoke so he could see what had happened.

When the smoke cleared, and he saw the sight before him, his stony face turned pale.

Up in the air, Kent stood, his 2-meter-long jagged sword raised, thousands of resentful souls screaming and howling as they were absorbed into the dark obsidian steel blade.

"Allow me to test this on you." Kent's blood sword aura ignited, and at once, all resentful souls were absorbed into the sword.

RUMBLE

The sky rumbled, clouds turning dark in an instant. Vhar'Zeth immediately formed a shield by stabbing his scythe into the ground, manifesting a stack of rocky shields.

However, Kent didn't mind. In fact, this made him even more giddy.

"Resentful Slash."

With a roar, his sword fell in a rather powerful vertical slash, manifesting a 100-meter-long black crescent sword arc. Painful screams and howling followed the slash as it quickly arrived before Vhar'Zeth's shield.

SHRNNNNK

That was the sound made before the resentful sword arc sped away, cutting the very ground in half, travelling several thousand km deep.

For a moment, there was no movement from Vhar'Zeth.

But then a small wind from the attack that cut the ground blew, and the shield separated in half, and along with it, half of Vhar'Zeth's body fell to the left while the other half fell to the right.

THUD THUD

They crashed to the ground. His blood flew like a river, sizzling on the ground.

Just like that, Kent had killed one of the five void temple masters, the temple master of fire.
