Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1330: The Sixth Floor - The Nine-Headed Flaming Lion (5)

Velyra stared groggily, stunned at Alina, unsure of what to say to what she had just said. Eventually, she managed to say something...

"If I didn't know you better, I would have said you are losing your mind. However, it is you, so why don't you elaborate? What do you mean by we should play hide-and-seek with a behemoth?"

Alina smiled and quickly explained, considering that the beast was adapting to her formation much faster than she had anticipated.

"So Kent once played this game with the troublemakers called Hide and Seek. He said it is a game from his home planet where one or more people hide, and one person finds them."

"Yeah, I know that. But how does it help us fight this behemoth?"

"Very simple, actually. Since the beast is impenetrable on its skin, we need to target its eyes. However, getting close to it is proving difficult, so why don't we lure it into a game of hide-and-seek, where, while we hide, we also seek it and attack when it is caught off guard?

"We only need to take out one of its eyes for you to do your blood work. I believe that would work. The moment you get hold of its blood, don't slow it down; instead, mess with its brain. That would give Aetheris and Lilian the chance to attack more and create an opening for Veydris."

"That could work. However, there is one thing you are forgetting... Our surroundings are bare. There are no mountains or rocks to hide under."

Alina smiled and proceeded to another formation disc. "I planned to use this to create a playground inside the tower; however, since we are here now, I might as well use it."

She threw it forward, and when it was about to land on the ground, she activated it, manifesting a formation that instantly started changing the terrain.

Mountains, trees, rocks, rivers, and even houses appeared. In a span of three seconds, the entire 10 km radius was transformed, pushing back all the onlookers.

A beautiful playground filled the place, leaving Velyra stunned.

"Unbelievable. So this was what you were doing inside your primordial space while we were waiting for you."

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," Alina said with a chuckle, and then she transmitted to Aetheris and Lilian, who found themselves inside a cave and atop a mountain.

"Alina, what the fuck?" Lilian screamed after she and Aetheris teleported, appearing beside Alina and Velyra.

"Relax, this is a good thing. Just take a look for yourself."

Lilian looked far into the distance where the lion was rampaging, shooting flame beams from all nine heads, breaking the trees, and crashing into the mountains.

However, whenever a mountain came crumbling down, the next second, it rose back up as if nothing had happened. And whenever they restored themselves, the lion was compelled to attack again.

"This is our chance to create the first advantage that would allow us to kill it. The formation is self-healing, so as long as we can hide and seek effectively, it wouldn't be too difficult to injure it. The best part is, I have created hidden pathways inside the formation that I can open for you to move quickly and sneak up on it"

"I thought you said this was a formation for us to play hide and seek in," Lilian asked, her brow furrowed.

"That was the idea, yes."

"So if that was the case, then does that mean you were trying to cheat by creating secret pathways?"

Alina was left standing, unsure of how to answer the question. She was indeed aiming to cheat and always win; however, she was discovered before she had a chance to implement her plan.

"What a bitch. As if she hadn't won enough with her big butt, she now wants to win in mere games," Velyra said with a chuckle, leaving Alina blushing like a child.

Aetheris could only stare at the three ladies with an expression that said, 'Girls, are you aware we are in the middle of a dangerous battle?'

"Tsk. How long can you hold the formation?" Lilian asked, looking as their opponent continued to rampage.

"I can keep it active for an hour, 30 minutes if I make use of some hidden mechanisms that—"

Alina paused, looking at Lilian and Velyra glaring at her. It seemed that, aside from the hidden pathways, there were some hidden mechanisms she could use to her advantage.

"Cheater."

"Nobody is going to play hide and seek with you."

"What if I promise to teach you the mechanisms?" Alina asked, her expression turning sinister like an old scammer who had just hooked their claws into two innocent victims.

As expected, the ladies paused what they were about to say and took a second to ponder her offer. In the end, they fell for her scheme. "Fine, but we will talk about the details later. Now, get to work and help us win. I don't want Unity coming to our aid."

"Yes, knowing her, she by now was already badmouthing our efforts."

Of course, they were right. Unity had her legs wrapped around Vexthra, hugging her from behind, crying into her ears to let her join the battle.

"Cry all you want, I would not fall for your scheme this time around."

The legion and the rest of her sisters could only continue to laugh at her antics while also paying attention to the battle.

Meanwhile, the Fire King and the various warriors who were pushed away from the battlefield could only watch in amazement as the battlefield shifted and several obstacles appeared here and there, causing the Nine-Headed Flaming Lion to aimlessly attack.

"Who are these people?" was the only question on everyone's mind.

One moment, they were fleeing from the battle; the next, a group of unknown beauties, a giant made of molten lava, and a battle doll that had since vanished into thin air charged forward without fear and started battling the beast they knew, deep in their hearts, none of them could handle.

If anything, at least a name should suffice. However, they were complete strangers to everyone. This, in a way, showed they were from a faraway planet.

But if that was the case, then does that mean the mission they had posted on the other planets had reached that far?

A lot of questions kept popping up in everyone's mind. However, as the minutes slowly passed, they began to see that the battle would soon come to an end.

That was because, for several minutes now, the Nine-Headed Flaming Lion had been rampaging, but not a single attack had landed on the four people battling it. In fact, the veterans among them started to see something deeper.

The more the lion rampaged, the more its focus shifted from Lilian, Aetheris, who had reduced its size to 5 meters, and Velyra, who were slowly making their way toward it.

Alina stayed back, coordinating everything. She kept opening secret pathways, activating mechanisms, and occasionally attacking to draw attention away from her teammates.

Slowly, they were making progress.

Eventually, on the 22nd minute, a window opened for all three of them.

"On my mark, execute the plan," Alina transmitted to her teammates, who nodded. Inside the void, Veydris also seemed to have a read on the play, so he started charging his sword.
