The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2175: Evolving the ArchDeities of the Scarlet Kingdom

With the route toward the next world secured, Cain gave a final nod to the Primordial of Void before vanishing in a flash of crimson light.

He now had everything he needed—the means, the resources, the machinery, and the path. All that remained was to ensure the strength and unity of his generals.

It did not take long for him to reappear within the Scarlet Crown, the floating capital of his kingdom. Waiting within its central chamber were the pillars of his dominion, the ArchDeities of the Scarlet Kingdom.

As Cain materialized before them, every head bowed low.

"Hail the Scarlet King!"

The shout echoed through the marble chamber like thunder, shaking the air itself. The nine ArchDeities gazed upon him with reverence and awe, their souls trembling beneath the magnitude of his aura. They had done their best to grow in the last fifteen years, yet the Scarlet King's power still overwhelmed them.

Cain had already heard of their progress from the Six Chief Counselors, but seeing it firsthand brought a smile to his face.

Before him stood nine figures, each a legend in their own right. Six were veterans of the Scarlet–Imperium War.

The indomitable Leonidas, the ancient lion, and the oldest ArchDeity of the Everstrife Empyrean World. The reclusive hermit Ozark, a master assassin. The brothers Bael and Amon, twin flames of destruction and power. The artful Divine Sea, master of blood and gravity, and finally, the radiant Zeus, the yellow lightning that could sunde the void.

The other three were the newly ascended ArchDeities: the Sky Sovereign, the Atrox Immortus Alucard, and the Inferno Daemon Hybrid Pation.

These nine formed the core of his might.

Of course, they were not the only ArchDeities in the Everstrife Empyrean World. Many others had hidden themselves during the war, and once the Imperium of Time fell, they crept back into the light, eager to curry favor with the Scarlet Kingdom. They offered allegiance and flattery in exchange for position and power.

Opportunists were loyal only to fortune. They would praise a king in prosperity but abandon him at the first scent of danger.

Thus, while such figures were welcomed under the Scarlet banner, they were given no true power. Their access to resources was limited, their gifts modest. The real strength, the trust of the throne, belonged only to the nine who now stood before him.

Cain's golden eyes glowed faintly as he examined each of them. He could sense the tremendous vitality of their wills and the vast, simmering energy of their Alter Egos. The Scarlet Stars that illuminated the world had fed them well; their minds, bodies, and souls now pulsed with unified strength.

Even the newly ascended Alucard and Pation had refined their willpower to the ArchDeity Rank. With only a bit more polishing, purifying the link between their souls and their Alter Egos, they would soon break through to the realm of Mind and Soul as One.

Cain nodded, satisfaction glinting in his eyes. With these nine at my side, each leading legions across the Empyrean Worlds, the Scarlet Kingdom will march without fear.

But there was always room to grow. Always higher peaks to climb.

"You have done an excellent job," Cain said at last, his voice calm yet powerful, resonating through the walls like a divine decree. "The world is stable. It thrives at an accelerated rhythm. According to the reports of the Six Counselors, the number of evil treasures and wicked cultivators you have recovered exceeds all expectations."

He paused, letting his words sink in.

"Well done."

The chamber seemed to brighten as crimson light flickered in every pair of eyes. To earn the Scarlet King's approval was no small thing; his acknowledgment ignited both pride and renewed purpose in their hearts.

Then, without another word, Cain raised his hand. Nine droplets of blood, each glowing like molten stars, rose from his fingertips and drifted toward the assembled ArchDeities.

Leonidas and the others instinctively reached out with their auras, cradling the sacred drops. Within each shimmered a spark of Cain's psychic power and soul aura.

But that was not what made them tremble.

Each droplet contained knowledge.

As the essence sank into their beings, revelation struck like lightning.

Every ArchDeity saw visions, patterns of symbols, divine diagrams, and runic threads intertwining with their own life force. Within each drop was a complete Alpha-Omega Overgod Cultivation Technique, personally tailored to match their unique Paths and battle styles.

Their eyes widened; hearts pounded as understanding bloomed in their minds. For the last couple of decades, what had limited their growth was not willpower or resources, but the lack of a technique worthy of their potential. Now, the path forward stretched before them in blinding clarity.

Even if mastering these techniques would take eons, merely studying them would refine their power to unprecedented levels.

Before they could even recover from the shock, another wave of energy surged through their Scarlet Stars. Streams of divine knowledge, insights into the Ego Eternal Path of Power, flooded their minds.

Their eyes glowed brighter as Cain's guidance etched itself into their souls: the method to evolve their Alter Egos; the principles to forge a Core Concept, the foundation around which their strength could transcend its limits; and the secret to awakening the true form of Resurrección.

Every one of them had once shared with Cain the full details of their cultivation, their strengths, their doubts, their Paths. He had promised them a way forward, and now he had delivered it.

Even for beings as old and steadfast as these ArchDeities, the revelation struck deeply. It took them several moments to regain their composure, their hearts still hammering with divine fervor.

When the chamber finally fell into stillness once more, nine pairs of eyes turned toward Cain. Each burned with renewed purpose, their wills blazing like suns.

The Scarlet King regarded them with pride.

"Keep growing stronger," he said, his tone both command and encouragement. "Soon, we will march into battle again. The stronger we are, the shorter the war will be, and the fewer lives will need to be sacrificed."

The nine ArchDeities bowed deeply, crimson light radiating from their eyes and souls.
