Noah appeared back inside the White Castle, finding himself face to face with his wives, his maids, his siblings, and also his children.
Evadam stood beside him, scanning the space with a calm gaze, though a faint glimmer of curiosity slipped through his brown eyes.
"Husband!" his wives chirped in unison. In a heartbeat, they were upon him, wrapping him in a storm of warmth and devotion, hugging him tightly with boundless love, acting as if centuries had passed since they last saw him.
Noah welcomed all of them and somehow, impossibly, he managed to hold them all at once, his arms enclosing every one of them in his embrace, leaving no one behind.
Perks of being powerful.
"You actually did it," Justicia said, awe dripping from her tone. "You actually made a world your heart." She finished her words softly, her delicate hand pressing against his chest, feeling the tranquil rotation of the living Earth within him.
She was stunned. Not only her, but all of them.
"Even I, your mother, I'm starting to fear you, my dear baby," Selene said with a smile, before pressing a soft yet salivating kiss to his lips, earning a sharp glare from her sisters just moments before a rain of kisses began to fall across Noah's face.
Dominique leaned close, pressing her lips inside his ear while coaxing the sweet Virgo to do the same and yet, with how the latter grinned and licked Noah's ear like candy, she seemed to enjoy it a little bit too much.
Noah laughed amidst the overwhelming love, accepting everything they did to him without a single complaint.
"It wasn't that difficult, you see," he finally said, his tone light and unbothered.
Beside him, Evadam gave him a sidelong glance. Not only him, Aurelia and Asaemon were also looking at Noah with the same deadpan expression, silently wondering whether he was mocking them… or if he was truly mocking them.
Elira clicked her tongue alongside Emily, both noticing their expressions.
"Our husband truly lacks common sense," Elira said, prompting Shadeva to answer with a sly grin, "A being like him no longer knows what those words even mean."
Their laughter filled the hall, bright, teasing, affectionate, only to die instantly the moment Noah brought out a set of silver-gold rings.
In a heartbeat, the once lively space turned silent, as if the air itself had frozen.
All the women unconsciously took a step back, hearts pounding, bodies trembling, minds struggling to process what they were seeing, looking at the cluster of radiant rings resting atop the outstretched palm of Noah's right hand.
Noah's lips curled, his smile as soft as snow and as warm as the morning sun.
"I just remembered that we never truly had a wedding," he said. "I've called all of you my wives again and again, but besides the silver hair our race shares… there's nothing that shows we're together, is there?"
None of them could answer. Their voices had vanished, stolen by emotion, leaving them only with trembling breaths.
But their bodies spoke in their stead, their gazes blurring, their hearts pounding as tears welled without restraint.
At the side, standing together, Premier and Foxy watched silently, soft smiles on their faces.
"This is a real man," Premier muttered in awe, his fists clenching tight. "I want to be like Father." His voice carried clear longing.
"You just want a harem," Foxy snickered beside him. "You're a pervert, brother. A pervert."
Premier's eyebrow twitched. "You know nothing, woman. Stay silent in the matters of men."
Then, with utter seriousness, he pulled out his notebook and began to take notes, determined to do exactly the same as his father once he built his own harem.
Foxy snickered again, watching him. She then ignored her brother and turned her gaze back to her father and mothers.
Unconsciously, her face softened into a loving, tender smile, one born of pure fondness.
She loved her family too much. Very, very much.
And that feeling was mutual, as the women — still struggling to find their voices, their lips parting soundlessly in failed attempts to speak — stared at the rings.
What stunned them most was the sheer number of them. There were enough for everyone…for the official wives, the concubines, the slaves, the maids.
No one was left behind.
It was as if he was silently declaring that there were no distinctions among them, that all of them were his wives, that he claimed each of them as his own.
It wasn't as if they didn't already know. They had always known that Noah treated them equally, but this act of his… this moment… it cemented that truth.
"Well," Noah said with a gentle smile, watching them frozen in awe, "it seems you're too surprised to speak, so let me do it for you, okay?"
He stepped forward, slow and steady, starting with his mother.
Selene was trembling, tears falling uncontrollably down her cheeks, turning the world before her into a beautiful blur.
Noah took her hand gently and slid a ring onto her finger, the size perfect for her.
"Oh? Maybe you need me to ask it properly?" he teased, his smile soft and playful. "Will you do me the honor of being my wife, my dear mother?"
Oh…
Did her heart stop beating?
Gods, Selene didn't know. And she didn't care either.
Her heart could fail her, but her love for the man before her would still flow through every corner of her being, denser and stronger than ever.
Because she didn't love him with her heart.
She loved him with everything that made her Selene Weaverheart Vaelgrim.
She then wrapped her arms around her son, her husband, her everything, and whispered in a tone that could make worlds weep from joy, for the emotion behind it was too heavy, too vast to be described.
"I—I accept… I accept… I accept!" she breathed out, her voice trembling, breaking under the weight of overwhelming happiness.
Inside Noah, Earth itself seemed to respond, the world grew warmer, and rain began to fall across every continent. Yet the rain was strange, for as it touched the earthlings' faces, they could not stop their tears from flowing even as they smiled, asking one another what was happening with joy in their eyes.
After Selene, Noah did the same for every one of them…for the wives, the slaves, the maids.
All of them cried. All of them smiled. All of them whispered their love and devotion.
All of them kissed him.
When everything was done, they all stood there with smiles upon their faces, gazing absentmindedly at their fingers where the rings now rested, feeling a deep sense of ease and protection wrapping their entire beings.
On that day, they had gained something new…a sacred proof, a mark of belonging, a bragging tool they would flaunt proudly before all of creation.
"With these rings," Noah said, his tone warm and amused, "you are officially the wives of Noah. Still, I know none of you are dissatisfied with your current positions — maids, slaves, and such — so stay as you are."
"These rings are symbols of our union," he continued, "but they're also tools. Through them, you can reach me from anywhere."
Their eyes widened, their smiles brightened.
"We can speak anywhere now," Noah added with a grin. "Even if I'm standing at the edge of the universe."
They grinned with him, but…
"Don't tell me you plan to go again?" Red suddenly said with a cold smile, her sisters mirroring that same expression as they turned their eyes toward Noah.
He instantly raised his hands in defeat.
"What? Not at all, how could I dare?" he said, defending himself from this false accusation.
"From now on, lovely husband," Elizabeth said, hugging him tightly, "it's one step of yours, one step of ours. You walk, we walk."
She smiled at him, a sweet yet empty smile. "Okay?"
"Yes, ma'am!" Noah said, saluting like a soldier standing before his superior.
The women and the others burst into laughter at the scene.
Next, Noah handed Premier and Foxy their necklaces, earning himself a warm, loving hug from his two adorable children.
Then came Asaemon, to whom Noah gave the crimson wolf. The grown man wept openly and even had the audacity to cling to Noah's feet while asking him to marry him. Noah had to restrain himself from sending him flying to the far edge of Laeh with a single slap.
After Asaemon, it was Aurelia. He gave her the book. She held it close to her chest, clutching it with trembling fingers, seemingly understanding its purpose instantly.
At that moment, Noah couldn't help but feel like an old man returning home after a long journey abroad, bringing gifts for everyone he loved.
It was funny to him in a strange, tender way.
Once everything was done, and after telling his siblings they would talk later, Noah disappeared to meet Laeh — with his wives following him — making his little sister jump all around him and wrap him in a tight embrace.
Ah… Noah had almost forgotten how cute Laeh was.
He pinched her cheeks, earning a pout from her, before giving her the gifts he had prepared.
But Laeh refused everything he tried to give her, saying that the primordial energy of the universe was more than enough and that she would soon rank up, she just needed to finish absorbing the realm core Noah had given her.
There, he also saw Noelle, sitting idly on her chair, a cup of tea delicately held in her hand. When her eyes fell on him, she smiled sweetly.
"Been a while, Noah," she intoned, her voice calm yet warm, her body moving almost on instinct, pulled by the urge to hug the man she had missed for so long.
And she did exactly that, despite the intense glares of his wives surrounding them.
"Are you falling for me?" Noah teased, his tone playful.
"I had fallen before I even knew your name," Noelle replied with a smirk.
Noah laughed softly. "How romantic, then."
Then he disappeared, but not before Noelle leaned forward and kissed him on the lips, making his wives twitch in silent irritation before they, too, began to cover him in kisses as if to reclaim their rightful place.
On his way, Noah came across Lea, the woman clinging to him like goddamn glue, shouting that he must never leave her, never abandon her, never discard her, or she would kill herself.
Noah blinked at the outburst, mildly surprised, then sighed and gently made her fall asleep before taking her along as he headed toward his final stop of the day, before finally resting with his wives.
And that was…
"Yo, Lucie," Noah said, smiling, his wives gathered behind him, their eyes fixed on the blank-faced woman sitting at the edge of the hill.
His smile widened.
"I'm here to give you my heart."
