Siblings with No Life Get Summoned to Another World as Detectives

Chapter 78: Lust (Part 2)

The Shadow led Kai, Kitty, Aki, and Mei to the place where Feloria was, while Lily, Miyuki, and Mary were left tied up in the Safe House.

Everyone followed the Shadow patiently. Well… almost everyone.

"When are we getting there???" Mei asked impatiently, but got no answer. She looked at her brother's face — it was the face of someone ready for battle, though fear still flickered in his eyes.

She decided to stay quiet.

The Shadow guided them through the forest, then to an open field near Purravale — a Neko-only city. He raised his hand and pointed toward the field. "She's there... waiting for you."

"How does she know we're coming?" Kai asked, his face unreadable.

"She wouldn't have... known," the Shadow replied, clasping his hands behind his back.

Without hesitation, Kai started walking across the field, the others following close behind. The grass swayed gently in the breeze, covering the lush green plain.

With slow, cautious steps, they finally saw her — Feloria, the Lust Goddess, standing on the plain before them. Their eyes met. Even from that distance, she could feel their presence.

The moment Kai saw her, he put on his poker face, not wanting to reveal any emotion. His mask was flawless, but his sister could see right through it.

Maybe Mei wasn't as good at reading people as her brother, but when it came to him — she didn't need to be. After spending so much time locked in that suffocating little room together, their minds had synced. In other words — they clicked.

Feloria stood still, waiting for them to come close enough to hear her. When they were finally near, she smiled.

"Oh… where's my handsome Kai?" she asked seductively.

Mei stepped in front of her brother, spreading her arms protectively. "Don't you dare touch him!" she hissed coldly.

"You act as if—" Feloria began, slightly annoyed, before her expression shifted. "Oh… so that's how it is…? Fine then… I came here to kill you anyway."

"More like you came here to be killed," Aki said, drawing his sword.

Feloria laughed, clenching her fists as her nails elongated into razor-sharp claws. Strange, glowing burn marks appeared across her skin, softly illuminating her body.

"You're really gonna fight like that?" Aki smirked. "You're completely naked! Just come closer and I'll slice your cherries right off."

Feloria didn't reply — her smile only widened. She stepped forward, and though it looked like a single step, it was actually a high-speed dash covering several meters in an instant.

She passed right by Aki, slashing deep wounds across his stomach. He didn't even have time to move his sword before collapsing, clutching his abdomen as his blood painted the once-green grass crimson.

Kai and Mei stared at Aki in shock, horror carved into their faces as Kai's poker face shattered into pieces.

"H-he'll be fine…" Mei stammered, grabbing her brother's arm.

"Y-yeah, o-of course he w-will…" Kai muttered, agreeing shakily, then turned to the Shadow. "Do something…"

The Shadow shrugged. "That part not of deal is," he said flatly, before rising into the air to watch the fight from above.

"Useless!" Kai shouted.

Feloria turned toward them, ready to dash again — but suddenly, a thunderous sound erupted from the sky.

Rhazir — the Blood Beast God — crashed down between them and Feloria.

In his hands was a massive metal axe, sharp enough to cleave a man in two with a single swing. Slowly, he raised his wolf-lion head and glared at Feloria with glowing eyes. "You will not touch them!" he roared, standing tall on two legs.

Feloria sneered. "RHAZIR!" she screamed, and dashed straight at him.

Rhazir's arm shot out like lightning, grabbing her by the throat. His dagger-sized claws sank into her skin.

"Heh!" Feloria laughed, smirking wickedly. "You think that's enough?" She lifted her legs and kicked him square in the face.

Rhazir released her, stepping back before lifting his axe high above his head. With one mighty strike, he slammed it into the ground — the impact shaking the entire field.

Everyone — Mei, Kai, Kitty, and even Feloria — lost balance and fell.

Rhazir grinned. He swung his axe again, hurling it straight at Feloria. It flew at incredible speed, but she ducked just in time.

That only made his grin wider. The axe began to return to him, spinning through the air. When it was close enough, he leapt onto it, soaring toward Feloria.

The axe completed its arc and came back down at her. As he flew over her, Rhazir plunged his claws straight into her forehead.

Instead of dying instantly, Feloria's head remained impaled on his claws, her entire body dragging behind him.

She hit the axe with her hand, throwing him off balance. They both crashed down — Rhazir with his axe, Feloria landing on top of him.

She grinned, plunging her claws into his stomach. Blood spilled, but he didn't make a sound.

Kai and Mei watched the battle of gods unfold.

"You think the cat or the weird wolf-lion's gonna win?" Kai asked.

"We have to help him…" Mei said, turning toward her brother.

"How?"

"The talisman!" she said, pulling it from her jacket pocket.

"How did they not take it from you?" Kai asked.

"I hid it in my mouth," Mei replied.

"…"

"Hey, bro… remember… PROMISE — 48°?" she asked softly.

"You mean the thing Vorenhart wrote?"

"Yeah… Did he mean that promise?"

Kai nodded gently. "Yeah. That's exactly what he meant."

"Does it… still count?"

Kai smiled. "Of course."

Mei smiled back. "Thanks," she said, as the talisman began glowing white instead of black, unlike the last time.

"W-what…?" Kai muttered.

Mei blinked. "Of course… If it can absorb negative energy, then it can probably absorb positive energy too…" she thought, clutching it tightly and pointing it toward Feloria.

The talisman filled with power until it finally burst — white energy exploding from Mei's body in the form of a sphere, shooting straight at Feloria.

Feloria was clawing into Rhazir again and again when the massive white sphere struck her, throwing her several meters back.

She landed on her feet, hissing like a furious cat, her back arched and tail whipping side to side.

"W-well, that didn't work…" Kai said, a bit disappointed.

Rhazir rose to his feet, blood dripping from his stomach, soaking his dark red fur. "Feloria!" he growled through heavy breaths.

"What's wrong, darling~?" Feloria taunted, leaping toward him again. She jumped high, claws ready to strike, but he swung his axe and sent her flying backward.

She dashed again, jumping once more — but this time, before she could strike, Rhazir grabbed her by the head. Dropping his axe, he caught her shoulder with his other hand and smiled.

He opened his jaws, trying to bite her head off — but failed.

Feloria struggled, scratching and clawing to break free. "You think you can kill me like this? How cute!" she hissed.

Rhazir moved his mouth away, grin widening. "Maybe I can't… but he can."

"He…?" she repeated, fear flashing across her face — just before her head hit the ground with a wet thud.

Aki stood beside the Blood Beast God, sword in hand — the blade that had just severed her head. His body was smeared with blood, but not a single wound marked him.

Rhazir let her body fall to the ground, then felt the energy within him begin to fade.

Just as Nytherra had said — when a god kills another god, he loses his divine duty. Which meant that when Rhazir killed another god — Feloria — he also lost his godly powers.

Kai and Mei smiled. "Just as planned…" Mei said, and Kai nodded.

"Aki really did get a wish from Vorenhart…"

Mei looked at her brother. "Bro…" she whispered. "Do you… feel different?"

Kai paused, trying to sense any change in his body. Though he felt nothing, his eyes instinctively drifted toward Mei's figure.

She blushed and clutched her jacket — the only fabric protecting her from his gaze. "P-perv!" she snapped.

"Can you take off that jacket?" Kai asked with a smile. Finally, after all this time, he'd done it. He'd regained his lust. Their theory had been right.

"N-no! Perv!" Mei shouted.

But there was no time to celebrate.

A loud crash shook the ground, the once-bright sky dimming into pale gray, wrapping everything in melancholy.

A soft mist began to spread, thin but ominous.

Everyone exchanged uneasy glances, while the Shadow, still hovering above, grinned. "My final chance… has come," he said.

From the ground, a dark substance began to bubble and rise. It crawled upward, twisting and swirling until it started to take form, shaping itself into something solid.

The air grew colder, heavy with malice, as the substance hardened into the outline of a crown.

A pitch-black crown, oozing a sinister aura, emerged from the earth, followed by another shape… a head.

Within moments, she stood tall, her eyes glowing faintly like dying embers. Her presence alone seemed to devour the light around her.

They all stared in horror — unable to breathe, unable to move — as they all stared at Shadow Queen.
