"Hey, isn't that the Ice and Fire Team? Again blocking the entrance of the Female College."

"Humph, what Ice and Fire Team, more like the Flirt Team. They keep hanging around the Female College trying to hit on girls, embarrassing our Knight Academy." Another student scoffed, and his words received quite a bit of agreement.

Though the onlookers' discussion was in whispers, Carter still heard it. Any man would lose face being talked about like that, but he couldn't lash out at so many people, so Lin Tian became the target of his anger.

"Outsider, I challenge you to a public duel. The loser must bow and admit their mistake!" Carter acted as if he didn't hear the nearby discussions and stared intently at Lin Tian. To him, the only way to shut the crowd up was to knock Lin Tian down in front of everyone.

Lin Tian glanced at Carter and then tried to walk into the Female College. To Lin Tian, Carter's duel challenge seemed like child's play, very childish, so he couldn't even be bothered to respond.

"Thinking of leaving? Not so easy." Carter gave a signal, and the so-called Ice and Fire Team immediately blocked his path: "Are you not a man, not even daring to accept a challenge? Holy Spirit Town doesn't welcome cowards, quickly get out of Holy Spirit Town."

The surrounding people, seeing Lin Tian not responding to the challenge, began talking again.

Dueling is not how people in Huaxia resolve disputes, they'd even consider dueling over a minor issue as very foolish.

The girl who stopped Carter was Yuwen Luofei, her appearance sparked a heated discussion, showing her high popularity around here.

Well, she's beautiful, and her strength surpasses most men, so naturally, she's popular.

"Yuwen Luofei, you know the rules of Holy Spirit Town, no one can refuse a duel invitation, especially since he is a man. You don't plan on intimidating me with the Frostwind Team, do you?" Carter was wary of Yuwen Luofei and her team, but he was unwilling to let Lin Tian go so easily, so he used the rules as leverage.

Lin Tian remained unfazed and said coolly to Yuwen Luofei, "Thank you, until we meet again." He then entered the Female College with Rossi.

Yuwen Luofei watched Lin Tian's group leave, her heart still unsettled. A man facing outsiders' opinions without anger had only two reasons: either the man was truly incapable, or he was unfathomably powerful, overlooking these mortals with a god's perspective.

She had seen Lin Tian in action, so she naturally knew he was capable, meaning he could only be the latter. Moreover, the ease with which Lin Tian returned the token showed what kind of strong and confident heart this man possessed.

If it were another man, they might have proposed some indecent request, but Lin Tian didn't.

"Luofei, are you thinking about that man from earlier?" A man's voice came from behind Yuwen Luofei, with a tone of elegance.

Yuwen Luofei heard the voice without surprise, turned to look at the man behind her. She couldn't see through the man in front of her, but it wasn't because of his strength, it was his depth.
