"It's true, I'm not lying to you," Lin Yifan seriously replied.

"Then that should be okay, right?" Zhou Jiajia asked.

During all this time with Lin Yifan, she had never done this with him.

"This..." Lin Yifan hesitated.

"Follow me!" Zhou Jiajia said as she took Lin Yifan's hand and walked toward the stairs.

"Jiajia! Why are you taking me upstairs? Isn't there a bathroom on the first floor?" Lin Yifan asked, puzzled.

"You still need a toothbrush to brush your teeth, right? You certainly can't use An Qi's family's toothbrushes. So, I am going to take you to An Qi's room now to get my toothbrush for you to use," Zhou Jiajia replied.

Lin Yifan found her reasoning sound, so he followed Zhou Jiajia upstairs.

Upon reaching the second floor and entering An Qi's room, Lin Yifan saw lots of cute stuffed dolls—Hello Kitty, Huba, Totoro, Kumamon, and others; everything was there. Apart from that, the entire room was covered in pink, filled with an intense girlish aura.

"So this is what your inner world looks like, huh? Really cute!" Lin Yifan exclaimed.

"Every woman has a girlish heart; she longs for the man who loves her to protect her, to guard her, and not let her suffer any injustice!" Zhou Jiajia replied meaningfully.

Lin Yifan understood her meaning and responded, "Jiajia! All you have to do is keep that girlish heart of yours; I'll help you weather the storms that come our way."

Zhou Jiajia nestled into Lin Yifan's arms, quietly enjoying the warmth and care from this man.

After a while, she reluctantly separated from him.

"Go to the bathroom, hurry up and brush your teeth. I'll wait for you," Zhou Jiajia urged with great anticipation.

Lin Yifan wasted no time, pushed open the door, and entered a bathroom that was over twenty square meters in size.

He then went to the sink to look for the toothbrush.

There were two cups on the sink, each with a different pattern printed on them; and each contained a toothbrush of a different color; Lin Yifan didn't know which cup was An Qi's and which was Zhou Jiajia's, so he asked, "Jiajia! Which cup is yours?"

"The one with Hello Kitty!" Zhou Jiajia answered from inside the room.

"Hello Kitty? Seems like Jiajia has even more of the girlish heart than An Qi."

He had thought that the cup with the Huba pattern belonged to Zhou Jiajia, but it turned out it didn't.

Picking up the cup and toothbrush, Lin Yifan rinsed his mouth with water first, then applied toothpaste and started brushing.

"Brush! Brush! Brush!"

After brushing once and still sensing bad breath, dissatisfied, he decided to brush a second time.

"Brush, brush, brush!"

Three minutes passed, and after the second brushing was done, he took a deep breath, sniffed, and feeling there was no bad smell anymore,

"Jiajia! Yifan! Are you there?"

Hearing this familiar voice, Lin Yifan and Zhou Jiajia immediately parted ways.

They glanced around and saw no one; An Qi had sneaked back in, then peeped into the bathroom.

"Jiajia! Yifan! What are you two hiding in the bathroom for?" An Qi curiously asked.

She was concerned for the well-being of Zhou Jiajia and Lin Yifan; so, ignoring the doctor's dissuasion, she resolutely returned.
